《Ninjago Perfect Match Boyfriend Scenarios--Jay》Fighting A Hypnotized Ninja Is Not Fun

At the sound of Jay's shout, every Serpentine in the cavern swings around to look in your direction. You stand there with the keys to Jay's cell in your hand and try to think of a way out of this. Unfortunately, none are coming to mind at the moment.
"Get her!" One of the Serpentine yells, pointing at you. As ordered, Jay charges forward and rams you with his shoulder, flinging you backwards. You use a gust of wind to cushion your fall, and land on your back, hitting your head against the ground. Jay starts trying to hit you with his nunchucks.
You roll back and forth, trying to find a way to get to your feet, but Jay keeps dodging your attempts to trip or disarm him. Even with your elemental powers, you can't get him to stop. Sooner or later, Jay's going to hit you, assuming one of the group of Serpentine surrounding you doesn't do it first. One of Jay's swings hits your shoulder, and you wince. That's going to leave a bruise.
The Serpentine surrounding you are slowly closing in. Just when you think you're going down for sure, one of the Hypnobrai breaks free of the group and tackles Jay to the floor.
"Slithraa?" you ask incredulously.
"Get going, y/n!" Slithraa calls. "I'll hold him as long as I can."
You use your air powers to once more launch yourself up to the walkways. There are a few Serpentine up here now, but you're pretty sure you can handle them. It's Jay you're worried about. You can't hurt him, but he clearly doesn't have any problems with hurting you. From below, you hear the sound of shouting voices.
"Nya!" you yell over the noise. "Hurry!" You hear a grunt of pain from Slithraa as one of his fellow Serpentine pulls him off of Jay. Jay immediately scrambles over to a ladder attached to a stalagmite and starts climbing.

You jump to the next walkway, using your powers to give you a boost. While Jay sprints around toward you, you look around for Nya. You can't see her anywhere, though you can see a large group of Hypnobrai. The next thing you know, Jay tackles you. You only just manage to keep from rolling off of the walkway.
"Hang on, y/n," either Nya or Slithraa shouts from below. "I'm coming!"
You use a blast of wind to push Jay off of you. You roll to one side to get to your feet and realize your mistake too late. You flail your arms, trying to grab the edge of the walkway. Somehow, you manage to grab on with one hand, but you yelp and let go when something—probably Jay's foot—smashes down on your fingers.
Desperately, you use the air beneath you. It cushions your fall, but you still land hard. You fall onto your side, crying out when you feel your ankle twist.
The sound of running footsteps echoes down from the walkway at the same time that Jay lands on the floor nearby and rolls to his feet. You stand up slowly, wincing at the pain in your injured ankle, and brace yourself for more of Jay's blows.
"Come on, Jay," you say, your voice breaking. "It's me, y/n."
Jay doesn't seem to hear you. He just advances on you and raises his nunchucks. You try to back away, but your ankle twists again, sending you sprawling to the floor.
"Jay..." you whisper, raising one hand to try and fend off the blow you know is coming.
At that moment, a billowing white vapor descends over you and Jay. It's even lighter than mist, but feels cool against your skin. Jay blinks, lowers his nunchucks, and shakes his head.

You slowly get to your feet, being careful of your ankle. "Jay?"
"Y/n?" Jay asks, sounding a bit dazed. "What happened? How did I get here? How did you get here? Where is here, anyway?"
"Jay!" You take two steps and almost collapse into Jay's arms, hugging him tightly.
Jay's eyes widen when he sees you limping. "Y/n, are you all right?"
"You're back, Jay," you whisper, tears of joy trickling down your cheeks. "You're back."
"Well, yeah," Jay says sounding confused. "Did I go somewhere?" His voice seems to be receding into the distance. "Y/n? Y/n?"
You don't hear what he says next, because you drift off into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Ancient Bones: The Changed Ones book 1 (Post-Post Apocalypse LitRPG)
Is it truly an RPG Apocalypse... if no one can see the RPG? Generations after the Fall, Mankind has achieved a balance in a world it is no longer the master of. But your prospects in this Malthusian world are limited. Johanna Milton and her friends have an answer: delve into Ancient ruins, avoid Changed beasts and mana pockets, and salvage Ancient materials, collectibles, and trinkets to sell. It pays well if you avoid the perils of the Ancient world. But when they find the skeleton of an Ancient, their lives take a strange turn. Suddenly, Talents straight out of fantasy novels become theirs. While they try to make sense of what happens, eyes turn to them, to the four who seem to break all rules. Or are they merely following them? Because, in the Beyond where he's spent 150 years waiting, one dead Ancient knows the truth. Douglas Moore has played those games often enough when he was alive to make sense of the System that rules the Changed world. He can no longer act on his own, but he has access to the Interface. And four people for which he can bring whatever it takes to face the world. Change is coming. The Changed Ones is a slow-burn litrpg fantasy trilogy (Ancient Bones, Ancient Books, Ancient Bonds) set on Earth, 150 years after the RPG Apocalypse... which mostly failed. It is an homage to the venerable ancient RPGs of the Golden Box era, the Baldur's Gates, and many others, offering adventure where You must gather your party before venturing forth. Keywords: LitRPG, realistic setting, low-leveling, post-post-apocalypse, fantasy earth, slow-burn, secondary POVs, female primary MC, team adventure, worldbuilding. Trigger warnings: casual swearing, adult innuendo (no explicit scenes whatsoever, though). Oh, and potentially a bit of politics. Bonus content: a Litrpg Easter Egg hunt. With lots of eggs across the book, some easy, some hard to find. Current score: 6/20 (20 eggs, 6 found) Publication schedule: on hold until September for book 2.

Magic-Farming
A thought experiment gone out of control, inspired by kosnik4's popular story, Magic-Smithing. What would life be like for someone else who was transported to the world inside Magic-Smithing? Someone who wasn't as prone to encounter incresasingly dangerous people, whose life was a little less chaotic? What if this person was content with a simple life of farming? Tending to the plants, sowing seeds, and reaping a great harvest at the end of the year. Of course, he's also a data scientist, so he can't help but squeeze out the maximum possible efficiency of his time and the potential of his attributes. Who doesn't make excel spreadsheets in their spare time? This is a slightly more "Slice of Life" esque version of kosnik4's story. Hopefully lighthearted, funny, and as enjoyable to read as it is thinking of increasingly ridiculous skill progressions. Thanks to kosnik4 and Magic-Smithing for providing fertile grounds for creativity to thrive. NOTE: THIS IS A FAN FICTION, AND ALL INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS BELONG TO KOSNIK4. I'm a patron of his story, and love reading about what happens next in his story. I've tried my best to be as accurate to his canon science as possible, though it's not 100% feasible. Afterall, the story isn't even done yet! My plan for the releases is to release a single chapter a day until 3/7, and then release 4 chapters a week on M, W, F, & Sat. P.S. If anyone can figure out what the EXACT formula for Level XP is, I'd love to hear it. I'm starting to doubt my math and excel capabilities. I have an equation that is fairly accurate and stays close to his values, but not exactly the same.

Pursuing the Demon Lord
Chet is your average college student. He works at a part time job to help pay for his education and clips coupons on the weekends to help save a few dollars when he goes shopping. However, dreams of a simple life and working at a decent job are quickly tossed aside as he finds himself transported into what he assumes to be a fantasy world! Everything was going exactly as he expected it to go, as he had read a few novels describing situations exactly like the one he found himself in. But those expectations are quickly thrown out the window when the Demon Lord herself shows up for a surprise visit! Perhaps this land of fantasy isn't so fantastical after all. (Updates whenever this funky cat completes a chapter.)

Vendor of Spirits
A warlock once made a pact with the Powers Above. He snuck in a clause that resurrected him whenever he died, with all his memories intact. He lived for thousands of years in a hundred different bodies, changing the world into a dystopian regime where he could freely pursue his passions: alcohol, television and ducks. This made the Powers Above very angry, so they erased his memories and reincarnated him as a simple barmaid in a sleepy village where she could do no harm. I don’t know any of this, of course. I just find it very annoying that she’s chosen me to tag along with.
