Hey guys! Thought to give a quick update before I start off this part, this part may be a longer one. Also, sorry for taking so long to update this. A lot of stuff has been going on for a bit, I appreciate you waiting (if you did) though! Anyways, I will not take up any more of your time, lets get started!

It was a bit early in the morning, about 9:00 A.M. The agents, Skye, Meowscles, and TNTina, were getting ready for their day, and the mission they were assigned to at The Grotto. They were in a sort of kitchen-like area in The Agency together.

Skye was sitting in a chair at the table eating some sort of snack, or...something like that Whatever it was, it was definitely something sweet and mayyybeee not the best thing for a breakfast but it works for Skye.

While Skye was doing that, TNTina was also making some Waffles for herself to eat, while Meowscles was preparing some cereal, with milk.

While TNTina was making the waffles, she noticed what Skye was eating, and was a bit confused by it, as many are and would be.

"Hey Skye, you surrreee those fruit snacks or...whatever they are called of yours are really good for breakfast? I mean, no offense, but thise are just little fruit snacks, even Meowscles is at least eating something, well, more...satisfying?" TNTina asked Skye, eyeing the fruit snacks Skye was eating with a bit of a curious look.

Skye sounded a bit offended at TNTina's comment. "They aren't just little, and I can tell you that they are perfectly satisfying, and I know to eat something else if I have to. You don't need to treat me like a mom, you know. I can take care of myself, as much as I appreciate the concern, Tina." Skye boldly told TNTina

By this point, TNTina was done making the waffles, and set them on her own plate to eat. She also grabbed some syrup and a fork to eat them with.

"Well, if it works for you and is enough for the mission, thats fine by me." TNTina responded, a bit amused.

After this, Meowscles had the Cereal and milk in a bowl, and put it inside of the microwave, closed the microwave door, and set it for about 2 minutes.

TNTina noticed this and looked at him confused

"Wait he...eats it like that? He warms it up beforehand?" TNTina asked staring at Meowscles confused, Meowscles simply looking back at her and tilting his head, appearing confused.

Skye shrugged. "I mean, if it works for him, I don't really mind. I'm just glad that he is happy with it." Skye said, smiling at Meowscles soon after.

Almost immediately after, the 2 minutes were up and Meowscles grabbed the bowl from Microwave and set the bowl on the table, and slid into a seat at the table.

Skye got up and gave Meowscles a spoon to eat the cereal with.

TNTina was about to question how he even ate it without a spoon, but Maya walked into the room.

"Hey guys, you hanging out with each other or something?" Maya asked, looking around and at others in the room as she walked inside.

"Well...sort of. We have some time before the mission so we decided that we would eat before then, as it may take a while." Skye answered

"Especially with the kind of mission it is, and how risky it can get.." Skye continued, sounding worried.

Maya patted Skye on the back reassuringly. "Well, you are going with Meowscles and TNTina, right? I bet that if you guys run into trouble, you will probably find your way out of it, trust me." Maya smiled a little after telling Skye that.

"You're right, worst case scenario I'll have to give Midas a call. Thanks, Maya." Skye stated with confidence.

"No problem, Skye."

Maya said, turning away and leaving, giving a small wave as she left the room.

Meowscles has finished eating his breakfast for the day and had already put his bowl aside, which TNTina and Skye took notice of after Maya left.

"Well, guess we better prepare for the mission now. Let's meet up at the choppa here when we are ready. We'll take it to The Grotto."

Skye said, the three agents disbanding and making their preparations before their mission

Skye quickly went into her room, and started to pack some stuff in her bag.

"Ollie!" Skye's hat, Ollie said

"Of course I won't forget my swords, they always come in handy!" Skye said as she quickly packed various items including her swords inside her bag, and put the bag on. Before she left her room, she also grabbed her assault rifle and grappler, and went to the Choppa.

TNTina went into her room, and grabbed what you'd expect. Her signature Ka-boom bow, as well as some grenades and other explosives, and a couple of other weapons and supplies in case she would need them. With these, she hurried out of her room and went to the Choppa.

Meowscles didn't take too much from his room, but of course brought his Peow Peow rifle and a pistol. Besides these, he grabbed whatever else he'd think he would need, and walked out of his room full of equipment to head to the Choppa.

Eventually, all three of the agents were at the Choppa.

"Alright, we are all ready now. Who's gonna drive?"

Meowscles immediately shook his head no, and either way it wouldn't matter as the choice was already made.

"I'll drive it. I've already driven these things anyways." TNTina said, heading inside of the driver seat of the Choppa and starting it up.

Skye and Meowscles head into the other seats of the Choppa as TNTina drove it to the Grotto and up in the air.

As they approached The Grotto, they noticed something off about it. It seemed to have a skull face in the entrance of it now, seemingly related to Shadow...

TNTina kept the Choppa in place, airborne.

"Something doesn't look right about this place." TNTina said.

"That's because it isn't. I think it's likely that Shadow got to Brutus." Skye said worried.

Meowscles made a sad meow, sounding worried.

"Don't worry, we'll check it out and see what's going on. Let me call Midas." Skye said, trying to comfort Meowscles a little.

Skye then put her hand through her ear and touched her ear piece, as a method to call Midas, and luckily he answered.

"Agent Skye? Whats the matter?" Midas answered through his earpiece.

"The Grotto seems to represent Shadow strangely enough. Brutus may have joined Shadow, or something of the sort. We're going to head inside, but we are going to need a disguised rescue team if things don't go as planned." Skye told Midas, as she looked at The Grotto.

"Alright, Skye. I will send a team of disguised agents in. They should be by the helicopter landing pad, understood?" Midas explained to Skye.

"Understood. Thanks, boss." Skye answered.

"You're welcome, Agent Skye." Midas said as Skye hung up the call.

"Alright, lets head in. If things go wrong, head by the helicopter landing pad, there should be a team of disguised agents to help us escape." Skye informed the other agents.

"Got it!" TNTina said as she landed the Choppa near the entrance to The Grotto.

"Be ready, guys. We're probably going to be under a lot of fire." TNTina told the others as the three of them took out their weapons and headed inside. For a few seconds, they weren't spotted. But pretty quickly, after about 10 seconds, a Shadow henchman already spotted them, and the shooting began.

The three worked together and took out henchman after henchman, using any supplies they had to heal if needed. Eventually, they got inside to the base inside of The Grotto, and as they continued taking out henchmen, they finally saw him...

Brutus.

There he was with his minigun, but with a different look this time. He had a black mask with a skull in the middle of it, with eye holes for his, well, eyes.

His arms had a pattern that resembled bones along with white gloves he wore. The rest of his suit was mostly black besides that.

"It's...you.." TNTina said quietly as she stared at Brutus in shock.

"Brutus..." Skye said

Brutus laughed a little at their reactions.

"Surprised to see me, huh?" Brutus asked

"Brutus, we were looking for you...we had no idea if anything happened to you...we were worried..." Skye said, clearly sounding quite sad, especially at Brutus' decision.

Brutus rolled his eyes at Skye's comment.

"Blah Blah Blah. We were worried we were that. You didn't even bother to check up on me earlier, or anything of the sort. None of you are much of a friend to me. Plus, the people here at Shadow are way better." Brutus said annoyed.

"Meow Meow..." Meowscles said sadly, his ears down as well.

Brutus ignored this.

"Now...you have invaded my base, and taken out quite a bit of my henchmen, and I'm afraid I cannot allow you to stay in here much longer and cause any more damage, so..." Brutus said as he began charging up his minigun.

"I'll have to take you out myself." Brutus said with a cruel tone.

"Get out the way!" TNTina yelled as the others jumped out the way and ducked behind objects to avoid the bullets from Brutus' minigun.

Skye peeked up from a black, metal box she was hiding behind and shot at Brutus with her Assault rifle damaging him a little.

Skye quickly ducked back behind the box, as she was quickly hit a by a few shots and didn't want to get too injured.

Brutus' minigun quickly broke the box Skye was hiding behind, and Skye quickly ran, only avoiding some bullets as Brutus kept up with her with his aim.

When this happened, Meowscles got up from what he was hiding behind and took the chance to punch Brutus from the back.

Brutus took the hit, and began to fist fight Meowscles. While this happened, a lot of henchmen began to head towards Brutus and the other agents, and shooting at them as well, even hitting all except Brutus with their bullets.

Meowscles was getting a bit injured, from both Brutus and the bullets. Skye quickly noticed this, and took Ollie off of her head, Ollie turning from a hat into some sort of large winged creature.

"Get 'em Ollie!" Skye said as Ollie quickly called out and hit Brutus, knocking him away from Meowscles

"Ollie!" Ollie yelled to Meowscles, and he nodded.

"We better get out of here, at this point, we'll be outnumbered and overwhelmed, more than we are already." TNTina said with a serious tone.

"Got it, lets hurry." Skye acknowledged, putting Ollie back on her head as a hat.

Skye, TNTina, and Meowscles heading up the stairs in base up to an exit which led to the Choppa landing pad, taking out some henchmen shooting at them while doing so.

Brutus gave up chasing the two.

"What a bunch of idiots. Going in only as a trio. I better tell the boss about this, and I may want to have some upgrades to my defences here as Ghost now knows that The Grotto is a Shadow base."

Brutus said as he used his earpiece to call his boss, Chaos Agent.

-Back to Skye, TNTina, and Meowscles-

Two Shadow henchmen by the Choppa quickly got in when they noticed the three agents, one of them in the driver seat, and the other 3 agents got on whatever seat was avaliable to them.

This caught the attention of some henchmen, and Skye and TNTina held them off with weapons, the the driver soon got them out of there, and heading back towards The Agency.

"That was a lot more than I expected. They must really want to keep that base..." Skye said, using and giving some supplies to Meowscles and TNTina to heal themselves up.

"Yeah, thank goodness I thought to bring my Ka-boom bow." TNTina said in agreement, using a med kit.

After a bit of flying, they got to The Agency, healed up the most they could be with their supplies, The Choppa now slowly descending onto the landing pad.

It was now sunset as well.

Skye turned to the 2 disguised henchmen. "Anyways, who are you guys? I appreciate you saving us and all, I really do, but it would be nice to now."

Everyone got off The Choppa, and the 2 disguised henchmen took off their disguises, revealing themselves as Peely and Maya!

"It was Maya and I! Midas told us to head in there, as we would probably be the best ones for the job! Sorry that we couldn't really help hold off any gunfire to prevent you guys from any more injuries, though.." Peely said both glad to have helped his friends out, but also guilty to have allowed them to get so injured.

Skye shook her head. "Hey, it's fine. Its not like there would have been much you two could've done anyways. We got a bit overwhelmed ourselves as well, plus you helping get us out of there is enough help on it's own."

"Skye's right, I'm surprised to have seen you as the driver rather than Maya though. Thought you wouldn't want to." TNTina said, a bit curious.

"Well, I knew I had to in order to save my friends, so I was more than willing to do so! Anyways, mind telling us about what you found on your mission?" Peely asked.

Maya was curious as well, looking at the three. "Yeah, I would like to know actually. I've been worried about Brutus as well, and I can tell The Grotto is a Shadow base now. You did find him there, right?"

Meowscles seemed a bit sad thinking about what happened, and Skye pet Meowscles a little.

"We did find him, but...he joined Shadow, and..." Skye said, a little sad as well

TNTina cut in "And he was acting like a total jerk! He even had the nerve to say the people at Shadow were better! The nerve of that idiot!!" TNTina yelled angrily.

"Hey, Tina calm down, I'm sure he's just misguided-" Skye said in attempt to calm TNTina

"Misguided or not, the guy's proven himself to be a jerk. Anyways, I'm going to head to my room and heal myself up a bit more, thanks for helping us out, Peely and Maya." TNTina said, even more angry and quickly walking away.

"Jeez, I guess Brutus really did strike a nerve for Tina, didn't he?" Maya said, a little surprised, and shocked.

"I guess so. Well, that and he also made Meowscles a bit sad.." Skye said as Meowscles meowed sadly, Skye petting him a bit more in response.

"Oh! I just remembered! We need to report back to our boss! I'll do that myself, I don't think it's something Meowscles would want to talk about. See you guys later, or tomorrow!" Skye said, petting Meowscles a little more before leaving to Midas' office.

--------------------Midas' Office----------------------

Midas was doing some work at his computer, wondering and worrying about where the agents were, as it was now night, when Skye came into his room, bringing some relief.

"Oh, you are finally back, Skye. I was getting worried about you and the other agents. Speaking of, where are the other agents, and the ones I sent to help you escape?"

"They are all fine, Tina and Meowscles wenr to their rooms. I do have some information from our mission, though." Skye answered

"Really? Tell me what you found, Agent Skye." Midas asked with curiosity in his voice.

"Well...we found out that The Grotto is now a Shadow base, evident by the skull in the entrance and by the Shadow henchmen there, as well as Shadow symbols around the place. We did find Brutus, but sadly he...he joined Shadow. He didn't really seem to particularly like us, either. We did fight against him, but his other henchmen came, and we eventually were outnumbered and overwhelmed. We escaped with the help of Maya and Peely, though not with some injuries."

Skye explained, remembering and thinking about what happened.

She wondered why Brutus would just...treat and respond to them like that, especially when they were so worried about him...

Midas nodded. "Understood, I know that you feel betrayed, and saddened by this, and I am sorry about that. I am afraid that I cannot force Brutus to join us, not without risking everyone here, especially you guys getting hurt. I appreciate the information you have given me, and you, Meowscles, and TNTina can have a couple days off to help you heal from your injuries. You may leave now, Agent Skye."

"Thank you, boss. I understand." Skye said as she left the office, closing the door behind her and sighed.

"Well, that certainly was a mission, wasn't it, Ollie?" Skye asked Ollie

"Ollie!" Ollie agreed in response, causing Skye to smile a little.

"Heh, glad you agree. I should take care of these wounds though. They aren't the worse I've had, but definitely don't want to just leave them there." Skye said as she went to her room, and closed her door.

------Meanwhile, at Meowscles' Room------

Meowscles was sitting down on his bed, thinking about what happened and how Brutus treated him and the other agents on their mission, when suddenly, someone opened the door to his room, surprisingly.

It was Peely, he closed the door behind him and walked up to Meowscles, seemingly worried about him.

"Hey there, Meowscles. You seem a bit sad about what happened...everything alright..?" Peely said, slowly sitting down by Meowscles and looking towards him with a worried expression on his face.

"Yeah, I just...feel betrayed. Brutus treated us as if he never cared for us, or anything. As Tina said, he even claimed that the Shadow members were better than us...I was so worried about him..." Meowscles said, his ears going down at the end of his sentence.

Peely hugged Meowscles. "Aww...listen, I know you really cared about Brutus, but I guess that...in reality, he didn't really care for us. I understand why he may have joined Shadow, especially if forced, but if that's how he is going to treat you, there isn't much you can really do about it, but don't let him get to you, alright?" Peely said, looking up towards Meowscles face after he finished his sentence.

Meowscles nodded. "Alright. Thank you, Peely. No one besides Midas and Skye really visit me in my room all that much." Meowscles said as he hugged Peely back.

Soon, the two released each other from the hug.

"Well..I...guess I better go to my room now. I don't want to bug your or anything..." Peely said, a little sad that he would have to leave.

"Wait you don't have to leave, you can stay. In fact, you can even sleep with me if you want!" Meowscles said, sounding both happy and excited at the thought of being able to hang out with and sleep with Peely.

"Really? Well alright then, I'll take you up on that offer!" Peely said excitedly.

Throughout the night, the two hung out with each other, talking to each other, and even telling some stories of missions they were on while Meowscles worked out a little bit in-between.

Eventually, the two went to sleep, and slept together in the same bed.

Wow, that was a whole 3,294 words. Well, I hoped you enjoyed that part, although I feel that I didn't write it all that well and could have done better on some things/parts. Either way, I appreciate reading it all a lot, I have to thank you for that. Anyways, I am sorry it has been so long since I updated this, I was busy with some stuff, especially in terms of school, but I hope I did well enough on this part to make up for it!
