《Ancient God (Ancient Love Poetry)》Chapter 13: Clash

The woman who said this was wearing a crimson robe with golden embroidered stripes and her blood-red hair was draped over her shoulders freely and easily. Her phoenix eyes squinted slightly, and she glanced horizontally at the sullen Sen Yu with a particularly arrogant expression. She put her hands on her chest and raised her chin to look at Chang Qin, who had turned to leave, saying with casual mockery in her eyes, “Ten thousand years ago, I heard about the Demon Realm’s Chang Qin, who was very brave and commanded the Three Armies. She was a legendary woman of the Three Realms. Now it seems that she has stayed in the Third Heaven for so long just for a stupid reason, which is simply…ridiculous.”
Feng Ran’s voice paused, and the corners of her mouth stretched into a smile, spitting out words of unusual indifference. She had only lived for ten thousand years this lifetime, and very few people admired her, but Chang Qin was one of them.
Chang Qin was already a well-known demon lord in the Three Realms tens of thousands of years ago, and everyone knew that she was good at fighting. In her childhood memories, the old demon tree that raised her talked a lot about the heroic demon Chang Qin, who led the Three Armies. It was said that Chang Qin was the only one who was comparable to Princess Jing Zhao of the Nine Heavens among the female demon lords of the post-ancient world, showing how much people in the Demon Realm respected and admired her.
But she did not expect that after staying dormant in Qingchi Palace for thousands of years, for her first time entering the Demon Realm, she would see that the famous war god had become so sluggish and decayed.
“If you want to leave, let alone the small Third Heaven, even the entire Demon Realm can’ trap you.” Feng Ran ignored the people whispering around her and the angry Sen Yu and just stared at Chang Qin, with invisible anger and pity in her eyes.
Chang Qin looked at the reckless and domineering woman in red standing not far away, and the decisive exhaustion and desolation in her eyes slowly congealed. Once upon a time, she was the same as her, since when did she become like this…so unbearable. Year after year and day after day passed in the Third Heaven for her as she bore the pity and sighing of everyone in the Demon Realm.
She had been in the Demon Realm for tens of thousands of years, and even the Demon Emperor valued her strongly. There was an unknown number of people who have been helped by her. After her marriage proposal was taken back, she only thought of quickly leaving this place as soon as possible. She spent these few thousand years thinking of how to defeat Sen Yu, but she had never thought that she didn’t need to just defeat Sen Yu to walk out with dignity.
She was Demon Lord Chang Qin, a descendant of the ancient demon fox clan. Even if she loses, she can’t be in such a pitiful position.
Everyone looked at the arrogant woman in red in front of Chongzi Palace, who was suddenly deadly quiet. With open mouths, everyone looked at her with disbelief, except for the two people under the black robes who were quietly standing to the side.
Besides the Demon Emperor and First Highness, Second Highness Sen Yu was the most powerful person in the Demon Realm and had a noble status. Demon Lord Chang Qin was from the ancient demon fox clan with noble blood. Although she no longer controlled the three armies, no one dared to underestimate her for these thousands of years. No one would have thought that there was such a person in the Demon Realm who didn’t care about their life and scratch open the scars of that year.

The entire Demon Realm knew that although the incident was not a taboo in the Demon Emperor’s family or the ancient fox demon clan, it couldn’t be easily blamed on one person either.
Although this red-clothed woman had a suffocating aura with a tyrannical posture, and not to mention an arrogant atmosphere that could even compare to that of Chang Qin’s, it didn’t signify that she had the right to mess around in Chongzi Palace of the Third Heaven!
When the provocative words traveled into Sen Yu’s ears, he was just a little taken aback, but when the words mocking Chang Qin were said, the people in front of the palace felt a cold murderous aura slowly spreading from him, so cold that some people were forced to take a few steps back abruptly.
A dragon will die if its inner scales are touched. [1] For some reason, these words unconsciously appeared in the hearts of the people standing around.
The little fox curled up in Sen Yu’s arms trembled, looking at Sen Yu’s eyes with deep sadness and a hint of invisible resentness.
It has been a thousand years, and he’s still like this…Even if she had saved him with her life, it was still difficult to win Chang Qin’s position in his heart.
No matter what time, she will never be better than Chang Qin. It was this way when she was in the clan, and it was still this way now!
Others may not have seen this poor little fox trembling with jealous eyes, but Feng Ran took a real look at her. She coldly snorted in Sen Yu’s direction, with flashing eyes.
Sen Yu was really blind. He didn’t want the pearls spit out by the deep-sea dragon, but rather chose the little shrimp that couldn’t even climb ashore.
When Sen Yu’s power was at its highest, the aura he gave out at random was very substantive. The strong demonic light turned into a sharp sword that moved towards Feng Ran, who had slanted eyes and raised eyebrows.
Everyone around them was shocked, and they all stepped back. It seemed like this woman truly angered Second Highness, and there was no good fruit to eat now. [2]
Sen Yu’s murderous aura suddenly stopped one meter away from the red-clothed woman. The crowd only saw her slightly raise her hand and wave it randomly, as if taking over Sen Yu with an illusion. A mocking coldness flashed across her eyes and a red aura not weaker than Sen Yu’s slammed straight towards him.
“Could it be that I’ve said something wrong? If someone is unwilling, why would you make it difficult for them? You are the noble Second Highness of the Demon Realm, are you just a despicable person?”
There was a sound of cracking, accompanied by a cold shout. The two auras collided violently, and the sky was filled with rock bits. After a moment, looking at the gradually clearing square, everyone couldn’t help but take in a breath of cold air.
The casually waving red-clothed woman had cold eyebrows and stood still in place, but Sen Yu stepped back, slightly panting, his eyes solemn and surprised.
Although his hit was at random, this woman was able to fight back with her aura. This kind of strength was a bit more powerful than his…when did such a person appear in the Demon World?
Seeing the figure in purple who had her back towards him the whole time, Sen Yu hid the astonishment in his eyes. The corners of his mouth were a little bitter and he raised his head to look at Feng Ran, his expression gradually becoming angry, “This is a private matter of the Demon Emperor’s family, you have stuck your nose in too far!”

“Oh? Really?” Feng Ran glanced at Sen Yu carelessly, then at Chang Qin, who didn’t say a word. Her face was suddenly fierce and stern, “If I just want to stick my nose in, what can you do about me?”
The loud voice was filled with arrogance. Sen Yu paused and looked at Feng Ran, his eyes narrowing slightly. His hand holding the little fox tightened unconsciously, and he coldly said, “If you have to care, it isn’t impossible. If you win against me, I will honor my promise and let Chang Qin leave the Third Heaven.”
“Hmph, you should just worry about you and your little fox living a good life, stop shaming others!” Feng Ran snorted, brushed the long hair hanging down her shoulders, and slightly stepped towards Sen Yu.
“I thank you for your teachings just now. I can take care of my own matters.”
The crimson robe was held on by a hand, and Feng Ran turned her head and looked around. Seeing the firmness and invisible warmth in Chang Qin’s eyes, she was a little taken aback. A vague smile flashed across her face and she said, “As long as Demkn Lord thinks carefully about this then everything is good. But, now that I am caring about this matter, I cannot give up halfway.”
She raised her hand to pull the sleeve of the robe out of Chang Qin’s hand and raised her eyebrows. “Demon Lord should understand that you shouldn’t be aggressive when you are provoked. Besides, I have some past disputes with the Demon Emperor’s family. Even if this wasn’t for you today, I would still take part in it.”
Feng Ran grinned, and a mouthful of snow-white teeth came out, abruptly stained with a bit of coldness.
The place where Bo Xuan disappeared bore the mark of the Demon Emperor’s family. If the Demon Emperor really fought…Her fist that had been lazy for thousands of years wasn’t that rusty, but it was just that Hou Chi, who ran away with Qing Mu, still wasn’t back yet, making her wait in the Third Heaven!
“Since you are stubborn, I will stay here to accompany you. But if you dare break into my Third Heaven, your name must be as powerful as thunder!” Now, everyone could see that this unknown person was just here for provocation.
“Why so much nonsense? If you can take a punch from me, then you are naturally qualified to know who I am. I hope you can make me satisfied and that the Demon Emperor’s family doesn’t only produce weaklings!”
Seeing the scene of Feng Ran who was as sharp as a knife, everyone around them had weird expressions. This woman was very beautiful, how could she be so rude and dare to provoke the Demon Emperor’s family in front of Chongzi Palace? The sentence just then included His Majesty Demon Emperor in the insult!
“She has always been like this?” A slightly surprised voice suddenly sounded, and the hand holding the little child stopped abruptly.
“Not really, I wonder if Feng Ran is more suitable in the Demon Realm. Sigh, the lifeless Qingchi Palace and Immortal Realm have detained her to death.” The crisp voice was full of regrets, and the tone of protection was beyond words.
Qing Mu fiercely twitched the corners of his mouth, closing his mouth sensibly.
“Hmph, I hope your strength is worthy of your arrogant mouth!” Staring coldly at Feng Ran, Sen Yu gently put down the little fox in his hand and walked towards Feng Ran. In between each breath, a thick teal light started to surround him, forming an emerald-like transparent armor.
With Feng Ran’s method just now, even if he didn’t want to make things huge, he started things off with the most powerful spell to protect his body.
As the crowd exclaimed with astonishment, Feng Ran’s expression remained stagnant, and she walked towards Sen Yu unhurriedly and stopped when she was five meters away from him. A red aura slowly condensed above her right hand, and in a flash, expanded from the size of a grain of rice to the size of a deep-sea night pearl.
With only her spiritual power being able to form such a pure aura, this woman was truly terrifying. The crowd around Feng Ran looked at her with eyes full of faint horror and admiration.
The Demon Realm had always valued strength. Although Feng Ran provoked Sen Yu, she did not detract from the admiration of the people in the Demon Realm.
With a soft thump, Feng Ran rose into the air. The red energy in her hand followed Sen Yu, who had jumped at the same time. At an extremely fast speed, with a loud bang, the red fist hit the teal armor. The spiritual power of the one-on-one battle formed a vague enchantment, which completely enveloped the two of them.
Everyone held their breath and looked closely, and there were looks of astonishment across their faces. Although the two looked balanced in power, the Second Highness obviously looked unstable. On the other hand, although the woman in red was no longer being lazy, she looked much better than Sen Yu.
As the two confronted each other, the front of Chongzi Palace quieted down. Everyone looked at the spiritual power faintly surrounding the two with agitated expressions. It was not common for two masters to fight each other!
A crisp ‘bang’ broke the quiet atmosphere. Everyone looked towards the place where the sound originated, and their expressions changed. There were small gaps in the Second Highness’s armor and even signs of fragmentation!
As the cracks on the armor grew larger, the crowd holding their breaths dared not to make a sound. In the strange atmosphere, a sudden flash of blue light flew straight towards Feng Ran like a spike!
If an outsider intervened in a battle formation, the attacked party would be seriously injured, and it was even possible to lose their life. This was something that everyone knew. Unexpectedly, someone was attacking under everyone’s eyes, doing such a despicable thing!
Before everyone had time to exclaim, they heard a cold snort. The woman in red didn’t mind at all. She only increased the amount of spiritual power confronting Sen Yu, not caring about the blue light coming from behind at all!
Under the crash, the blue light came suddenly, and under the sighing expressions of the crowd, the bright red light suddenly rose into the sky, and a huge red phoenix mark appeared behind the woman in red, waving its wings and soaring, blocking the blue light.
In a flash, the entire sky seemed to be filled with scorching heat, and the armor on Sen Yu’s body was completely shattered. Seeing the blue light drooping towards the ground under the fire phoenix’s power, Sen Yu’s expression suddenly hardened. He paused, spit out a mouthful of blood, and forcibly put out his hands that were facing Feng Ran to catch the blue shadow.
Everyone was quiet. At that time, it seemed that even a small gasp was too noisy and redundant. The flaming phoenix totem was still flashing in the sky, but no one dared to admire this power anymore–everyone knew that in the Three Realms and Nine Continents, there was only one fire phoenix, who lived in Qingchi Palace. Ten thousand years ago, she killed the Third Highness of the Demon Realm and severely injured the First Highness. She was Lord Feng Ran, who used to not be tolerated by the Three Realms!
Sen Yu, who was half-kneeling on the ground, stared at the pale woman in red hanging in the air. A cold smile slowly escaped from the corner of his mouth. He stood up with deep hatred in his eyes, clenching his hands tightly. Before he had time to say something, a thick voice suddenly sounded in Chongzi Palace.
“I was thinking who it was that dared to break into the Third Heaven. Unexpectedly, it is Lord Feng Ran, please forgive me for not being able to welcome you!”
The voice was cold and slowly came out of the palace with a boundless chill, and the entire palace was filled with solemn breath that reached one hundred meters away.

A series of Transmigrated Misadventures.
This is an original story about a sadistic and scheming human and his defective sometimes malfunctioning cube about how they travel to different worlds with different settings where they make people's lives miserable. Zhang Fei was anything but a normal person. He was a sadistic human who made the lives of his book characters quite miserable so when he died he was bounded to a system by The voice and entered the realm network. He got a second chance at life and could now practically make the character's lives a living hell but he soon found out that there is a downside to being a sadist as well. that's all folks , so the novel is a bit different from the normal system novels you read, the Main charachter isn't a good guy like in most novels, well he isnt a bad guy either, he is just a sadist. But the point is i tried to make the story as different as i could while still keeping the system/trnasmigration formula with it, so i don't know how you will interpret the story but i hope you still read it and enjoy it. i am not chinese so i might have butchered up the chinese names in the novel. and first time writing so if its a little bad please forgive me. And almost forgot any constructive criticism is appreciated. as it helps me know what i am doing right and what i am doing wrong and i have also posted the same story on wattapad.com. enjoy. Arc 1- [The Cube, The Sadist and The Villainess.] (COMPLETED) Arc 2-[The Lonely Island] (ONGOING) Writing in Quotation marks-"For dialogues of characters" Italic writing- For inner monologues and thoughts Bold writing in brackets- [For the dialogue of system]

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
