《Chasing The Bad Boy (J.JK ♥ S.CY)》In The Mansion

My Heart Stopped Beating As Jungkook Pointed The Gun At My Direction. I Couldn't Find The Words To Beg Him Not To Kill Me. But I Didn't Have To. He Fired The Gun And I Close My Eyes. When I Opened Them, I Saw Him Breathing Heavily. I Turned Around And I Realized He Wasn't Aiming For Me. There Was Another Guy Holding A Knife Behind Me, Now Lying On The Floor With So Much Blood Pouring Down His Stomach. I Want To Puke. The Guy Must Have Tried To Kill Me With His Knife. Good Thing, Jungkook Was There To Save Me. I Wasn't Ready To Die Yet. I Looked Around And Noticed That Everyone Was Knocked Out And I Couldn't Help But Feel Proud Of Jungkook. He Did It All By Himself. He Looked Like He Was Trying To Control His Breathing. He Stared At Me With An Unreadable Expression In His Eyes. I Ran To Him And Wrapped My Arms Around His Waist. I Didn't Care If He Pushed Me Away. I Needed To Feel Him, His Comfort. Surprisingly, He Didn't Pull Away. He Returned My Hug And Nuzzled His Nose In My Hair.
"Are You Okay?" He Whispered.
I Nodded. "Are You?" I Asked.
He Chuckled. "I'm Used To Those Kinds Of Things, Chaeyoung. You Don't Have To Worry About Me."
"Who Said I'm Worried About You? I Was Just Worried That No One Would Drive Me Back Home." I Mumbled.
He Chuckled Again. "Don't Worry, Rich Girl. I Won't Let Anything Bad Happen To You."
"You Better Or My Dad Would Chop Your Balls Off."
"That's The Scariest Thing You Can Say To A Guy."
I Giggled And Reluctantly Pulled Away.
"Let's Go." He Said.
We Rode On His Motorbike, Acting Like The Fight Didn't Happen. The Ride Was Quiet One. He Pulled Off In Front Of My Mansion's Giant Gate. I Hopped Off And Handed Him His Helmet.

"So I Guess I Owe You An Explanation, Rich Girl." He Mumbled.
"Oh Yes, You Do. So Get Inside. Now." I Told Him Seriously.
"What? Why?"
"You Can't Go Looking Like That. You're Bruised. How Do You Think Wendy Would React?"
He Sighed Exasperatedly.
"I Can Go To A Friend's House."
"Yeah? Another Gangster Friend Then What? You Guys Would Get Your Revenge? I Don't Think So." I Crossed My Arms Over My Chest, Showing Him I Would Die First Before He Does That.
He Sighed Exasperatedly And Raised His Hands In Surrender. I Smiled Smugly At Him And Motioned For Him To Follow Me Inside. He Hopped Off On His Motorbike Then Followed After Me.
"Is Dahyun....?" He Trailed Off.
"No Don't Worry. She's Not Here. My Dad Called Her And Some Of Our Other Helpers. Every Month, My Dad Holds A Meeting With Them, You Know."
"Good, I Don't Want Her To Worry."
"She Knows What You're Doing, Doesn't She?"
"How Did You Know?"
Because She Warned Me That You're Different.
"Just Making A Lucky Guess."
We Entered The Mini-Clinic Of The Mansion. I Got The First-Aid Kit From The Shelf And Gestured For Him To Seat On The Red Couch. I Dragged A White Chair And Placed It In Front Of The Couch. I Sat On It And Opened The First-Aid Kit. I Tend To His Wounds As I Curse Myself Mentally, Melting Inside Because I Could Feel His Stare Burning Me.
"So..... Care To Explain?" I Asked, Trying To Distract Him.
I Already Knew Why Those Guys Attacked Us. It's Because Of The Drugs. But It's Not Like I Was Going To Tell Him That I Knew. I Just Wanted Him To Tell Me; Hopefully He'd Get Distracted And Stop Staring At Me.
"There's Nothing To Explain." He Snapped.
I Was Taken Aback. How Dare He Snap At Me? He Just Jeopardized My Life And Yet He Dared To Snap At Me?

"Well, I Know That Those Guys Aren't After Me. It Was Clear That They Wanted To Kill You And I Almost Died So I Think I Deserve An Explanation!" I Yelled At Him.
He Was Caught Off Guard By My Sudden Outburst. 'Oh Yeah, Jeon Jungkook, I Could Be A Bitch If I Want To.' I Thought Smugly.
He Sighed Exasperatedly And I Got Back To Tending His Wounds. They Were Starting To Form Bruises. The Cuts Weren't That Deep.
"They're After Me Because I Messed Up. That's All You Need To Know." He Told Me.
He Was Looking Down But I Could Tell He's Keeping Something More, Something Dark.
I Didn't Press The Topic; I Knew When To Keep My Mouth Shut.
"You Can't Go Home." I Informed Him.
"Says Who?"
"Says The Girl Tending Your Wounds. Don't Dare To Argue With Me On This. You Know Wendy Would React If You Go Home Looking Like A Punching Bag."
"A Punching Back?" He Scoffed. "I Don't Look Like One. You Saw How I Fought Those Guys Off. I Just Have Some Small Bruises."
"Guys And Their Egos." I Rolled My Eyes. "I Don't Care If They're Just Small Bruises. They're Still Visible And If You Don't Want To Fight With Wendy, I Advise You To Stay For The Night. It's Getting Late Anyway."
"You're A Stubborn Rich Girl." He Stated.
"And You're A Pig-Headed Jerk."
I Looked Up To See If I Offended Him But He Looked Rather Amused With My Comeback. I Stuck Out My Tongue At Him. Very Mature, I Know.
"So, We Have A Lot Of Spare Rooms Here. Just Enter One. They're All Unlocked Anyway."
"When Did I Say Yes Regarding My Stay Here?"
"I Wasn't Even Asking. I Was Telling You To Stay Here."
"And You Think I'm Going To Follow Your Orders?" He Asked, A Smile Tugging At The Corner Of His Lips.
"I Don't Think So. I Know So, Mr. Jeon."
He Sighed. "I Hate To Admit This But I Think You're Right. I'm To Tired To Drive Home Anyway. And Mom Would Flip Out When She Sees Me Like This."
"Finally, You're Making Sense."
"I'll Give My Mom A Call. I Don't Want Her To Worry."
"Sure."
I Finished Bandaging His Arm And Got Up. He Stood Up Too.
"So..... You Hungry?" I Asked Randomly.
He Looked At Me Like I Lost My Mind.
"What?" I Asked Curiously.
"We Were Attacked And That's All You Could Say To Me."
I Shrugged Casually.
"I'm Not The Type To Get Into Shock." I Told Him.
He Shook His Head.
"So, What Do You Want To Eat?"
"I'm Not Hungry."
I Nodded My Head. "I Think You Need To Rest Now."
He Just Stared At Me.
"I'll Ask A Helper To Give You Some Clothes To Sleep On."
"No Need To, I Only Sleep In My Boxers, You Know That."
I Blushed Hard, Hating The Way I Reacted. He Smirked At Me.
"Fine. Whatever, Call Your Mom Now. I Need A Good Night's Rest Too." I Told Him.
We Went Out Of The Mini-Clinic And He Followed As I Walked To My Room. When I Reach The Door Of My Room, I Turned To Him.
"So....." He Started.
"I'll Sleep Now." I Stared At The Floor Awkwardly.
"Okay." He Said But He Didn't Make A Move To Leave.
"Good Night." I Told Him, Avoiding His Eyes.
I Couldn't Believe It. Son Chaeyoung Was Getting Shy Around A Guy. No, It Wasn't Just Any Guy. It's Jeon Jungkook.
"Good Night And Thank You For Letting Me Stay Tonight."
"You're Welcome, Jeon Jungkook."
His Eyes Glowed With Amusement.
"Good Night, Son Chaeyoung."
Those Were The Last Words He Spoke Before I Entered My Room.

Stitches
When Lidiyana awoke, she wasn't alone. Instead, she returned to the world with Gareth - a man who tended to her after a horrific accident left her in a coma. He's strange, but also kind in his own way, helping her regain her memories and teaching her about their former relationship. However, as Lidiyana learns more about the world around her, things may not exactly be as they seem. Stitches is a fantasy web serial focusing on interpersonal drama, surreal horror and adventure. As a forewarning, it should be noted that Stitches is not for all audiences, as it heavily features various horror elements including some gore and body horror alongside minor elements of sexuality, nudity, drinking, etc. I know there are content warnings, but I did want to clarify exactly what's going on here. Stitches should update every Friday, barring exceptional circumstances.

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
