I was walking around when I spotted Kaeya in the distance, I walked up to him and said, "Hey!" He looked over at me, "Hm? Oh, are you that girl from yesterday?" I nodded and he smiled, "Well, its nice seeing you again." "Mhm."
"I was go- Oh, I have to go back to work. Goodbye Y/n." "Bye."
I walked over to Katheryne and asked, "Are there any commissions in Dragonspine that I could do?" "Hmm, yes. There's 2 there. But please be careful, it's dangerous there." "Yeah, yeah I'll be fine. Don't worry.." I assured with a smile..
And then I began to walk towards Dragonspine.
I sighed, and sat down, out of breath. "Too much.. Walking.." I'll just sit here for a bit, until I regain some energy..
I opened my eyes, and got up to continue my journey to Dragonspine.. I finally reached my
destination and I began go do my commissions..
I was finally done all of my commissions and I sat down under a tree beside a fire, and fell asleep.. I woke up to albedo staring down at me and i asked, "Uhm.. What are you doing?" "I'm just wondering how you're not frozen yet."
"Huh? I have a fire right beside m-" I looked over at my side to aee that the fire was out "Huh..? The fire was lit when I fell asleep?" "Hm. Oh, what's that?" I looked over to where he was pointing at and I saw a pyro vision.
Wait.. I got a vision? I picked it up and showed it to him. "Oh, that's how you didn't freeze to death in your sleep." "Yep." He reached his hand out for me to get up, I took it. "I'm Albedo." "I'm Y/n, nice to meet you!!"

"It's nice to meet you too Y/n." "So, what brings you to Dragonspine?" "Oh, just some commissions." "Hm, are you a Traveler?" "Yes, I am. How did you know?" "Oh, how long are you going to stay here?" "Hm, probably not much longer.."
I saw the slight smile he had on his face disappear. "Okay." He said, then walked away..
Now I'll feel kinda bad if I leave so soon.. I followed him to wherever he was going, and we ended up at his lab. He turned around to face me, "Oh- H-Hi Albedo." "Why were you following me?" "You knew?" "Yes. I heard your footsteps."
Oh he heard me, I thought I was being quiet.. "So, why were you following me?" "I kind of felt bad for leaving so soon, so I wanted to stay a bit longer.." "Oh. Thank you Y/n." "You're welcome." I said as I sat down..

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
