《Heart and Soul (Stingsu, Sting X Natsu)!》Chapter Ten: Cuddles Continue!

"Ahh..." Natsu yawned, awakening from a dream about a certain blond. It wasn't anything special, he only beat him into the ground in a fight then was rewarded with an all you can eat buffet including fish, meats, and deserts. The same blond who when he opened his eyes, was snuggling into his upper sternal region. He had to stifle an 'Aww' when he saw how cute Sting looked when he slept. 'He looks so innocent and adorable...' He relaxed when he realized he was a bit rigid, then also turning up his body heat once again. Sting pulled himself closer, tightening his hug when the pinket warmed up. He shivered a little when he felt a liquid make contact with his skin, 'What the...' he looked down and saw Sting drooling slightly. 'Damit...'. Instead of doing something he just sat there, feeling the drop of liquid run down his side. He didn't mind too much, and found it slightly adorable how he was when he slept. He looked over to the clock and saw it was getting late, 'Shoot, he's gonna be hungry...' His stomach rumbled, causing Sting to flinch and close his mouth. 'I'm hungry!'. He waited a minute, watching as Sting breathing caused his chest to raise then lower, and how it tickled his chest. He started to wake him so he could get something to eat and drink for the two of them. He gently shaked him, trying to coax him from his sleep "Sting... wake up. Sting, dinner time." He said gently.
"Hmm," Sting hummed gently as he was awakened. Natsu smiled a little.
"You need to eat something, you've been sleeping all day." Natsu said before he stopped heating up his body.
"Aww..." Sting whined feeling the hard chest cooling down. He looked up, his face pouting, and pulled Natsu closer to capture more warmth. "Heat up," He ordered, "please!" He added with puppy dog eyes. Natsu shook his head.
"You need to eat something," This time Natsu said more strictly. Sting continued pouting before smirking. He looked back at his chest and stuck out his tongue. "Sting!" Natsu exclaimed. Sting continued to tickle him with his tongue, then used his hands to tickle his back.
"Warm up!" Sting whined looking up. Natsu blushed, then heated up to inhuman temperatures in response. Sting tried to hold on but quickly pushed away as the heat was becoming unbearable.
"What, can't stand the heat?" Natsu taunted. Sting pouted and stuck his tongue out childishly. The same tongue moments ago was tickling his chest, 'I can't believe he did that!' Natsu thought as he remembered the feeling of getting licked. Stings pout quickly turned into a smirk.
Not only did he lick Natsu, but Natsu seemed more intent on playing around then getting mad at him. "Now, food. What do you want?" Before Sting could speak he was cut off, "and don't even think about frozen jerky, I swear I will burn it all.".
"Fine, chicken or something..." Sting felt like he could have honestly sustained himself by just licking Natsu's flesh, but hell to the no would he say that, and that wouldn't work technically. Natsu got up without another word. Sting laid back down, and to his joy the bed was still warm. Plus to his added delight it smelled like Natsu. He inhaled deeply and purred gently, 'Why does he smell like that...' Sting wondered. He heard faint sizzling coming from the kitchen, most likely being Natsu cooking something. "Cook something for Rogue and the cats too!" Sting yelled.

"Uhh, sure!" Natsu yelled back. Sting covered himself with the blankets and listened to the fire mage cooking in the other room.
'' Sting wondered. '' A smirk appeared on his face as he insulted the shadow dragon slayer. He relaxed into the soft mattress that still radiated warmth. His stomach rumbled before he could fully relax, "Natsu... how much longer on food!?" He whined.
"One second-!" He heard a crash and immediately shot up and looked to the hallway that led to the kitchen.
"Natus!?"
"Yeah! Sorry, I knocked over a chair..." He snickered as Natsu walked into the room with two plates of food and cups of water. "Here, it's the best I could do!" He handed Sting a plate that held what appeared to be a wrap. After taking a bite he discovered it was made of lettuce, crispy chicken, tomatoes, and peppers.
"Mmm, it's good." Sting bluffed. 'Is it too late to go and grab Jerky!?' He whined internally. He took a sip of water and looked to Natsu who was staring at him intently causing him to blush. The mark on his neck was clearly visible, as he was shirtless. Sting glanced quickly over his body before looking into his eyes... those deep emerald eyes. "W-what?" He was blushing furiously. Natsu didn't even notice he was staring and ripped his gaze away quickly.
"N-nothing... just what was up with licking me?" He stared at the floor completely missing Stings tomato red face.
"Umm, j-j-just to play around..." 'And cause I think you taste good...' he added on mentally.
"I see..." Natsu blushed. 'This isn't awkward, this isn't awkward at all!'. "Well, are you still feeling sick?" He asked trying to change the subject as fast as possible. Sting took a moment to think about how he was feeling.
"I feel fine now," He took another bite of his wrap, "But, when do you think we can try that again?" Sting asked eagerly. He really wanted to try to attempt Soul again.
"Err, when you feel better we can." Natsu giggled at his eagerness.
"I feel fine!" Sting argued, grinning before taking another bite. Natsu sighed, studying him for a second then grinned devilishly.
"Oh do you now?" He asked.
"Of course- Ahh!" Natsu shoved Sting down backwards onto his bed. Sting closed his eyes when he hit the bed. "What's the big idea!". He opened his eyes to see Natsu's mere inches away from his. His warm breath ruffled the front of his hair. "W-what!?" He stuttered.
"If you really were okay you'd have shoved me off" He teased, causing Sting to blush feverishly. Natsu failed to notice. His eyes trailed down to the fire mages neck, where a certain hickey now sat. The hickey he gave him without him knowing... while he slept...
"Eek!" Sting yelped without warning. Natsu jumped back and fell off the bed, onto his rear.
"W-what?" Natsu asked panically. Sting blushed furiously and crawled over to the edge of the bed and looked down.

"N-nothing...!" He replied with a nervous giggle. He put his chin on the edge of the mattress. "Sorry...". Before Natsu could speak he shot back up with new found resolve, "But, I did get you off!".
"You screamed!" He yelled a little ticked off.
"Would I have been able to do that if I was sick?" He asked sarcastically.
"Umm..." Natsu came up blank... "Fine, I guess, i'll give you that." He laughed, Sting giggled. He put his chin down again and looked at the, in his opinion, adorable dragon slayer. He smiled gently, and completely ignored what Natsu said. "Sting... Why. Are. You. Smiling?" finally reached his ears.
"Huh? I'm not smiling." He said while smiling widely like the idiot he is, but that's just one reason Natsu thinks he's adorable.
"Yes, you are..." Natsu pointed to his grinning face. Sting pulled his hand out and felt his face.
"I am!" He exclaimed. Natsu sighed.
"Anyway, you should finish eating..." The front door opened and in walked Rogue and the Exceeds. Natsu stood up and Sting perked up, lifting his chin and focusing on them instead. "Oh, hey!"
"Hey, Stings feeling better?" He asked while walking and sitting down in one of the chairs. The exceeds flew around and sat down with their respective partners.
"Hey Happy!" He petted the blue exceed, "And yeah, I think he is." He shivered and pulled his scarf on, concealing the mark before anyone could notice and question it. Sting sighed in relief, knowing he won't need to explain that. At least not yet, hopefully.
"Well that's good, want me to make something to eat?" Rogue asked.
"Natsu already cooked," Sting replied gleefully. Rogue stared for a moment before starting to walk to the kitchen.
"So i'll take that as a yeah...!" Rogue turned back and smirked. Natsu's mouth was agape.
"What's that supposed to mean!" Natsu cried out.
"I think it means you're a lousy cook!" Happy snickered. Natsu smacked him upside the head. "Oww..." The cat cried dramatically. Rogue ended up cooking a filling meal of noodles and a pastry filled with different veggies. Sting and Natsu both ate a few households worth, how they stay in shape is still a question often asked.
"That was delicious!" Natsu complimented.
"Yeah way better then what Natsu made," Sting snickered as he mocked the pink haired 'cook'.
"Aye!" Happy giggled.
"Not like you can do any better, Sting." Lector said between mouthfuls of fish.
"Fro thinks so too..." The green cat giggled quietly. Sting started pouting from the insults.
"Im not that bad..." Sting cried shedding a fake tear.
"You gave us food poisoning for a week!" Rogue argued, "That's pretty bad!". Natsu burst out laughing.
"How many times have you nearly killed everyone..!" Natsu laughed.
"Not that many..." Sting pouted.
They stayed at the table eating and talking for a while before they all started to yawn and get droopy eyed. "Im sleepy..." Sting said quietly.
"Aye..!" Happy yawned out. Lector nodded, he was especially tired from running to, and around, Magnolia underneath the pot from his escape from the violently hugging Sting.
"Fro is too..." The 'frog' exclaimed, somehow with actual energy. Rogue picked the cat up and headed for his bed.
"Goodnight..." He sighed.
"Night..!" The others said, also beginning to stand.
"I'm gonna head to bed," Sting said as he picked up the red exceed who was already sleeping. "Night Natsu, Happy."
"Night." Natsu smiled.
"Aye..." Happy flew onto Natsu's head and started snoring softly. Sting curled up in bed after placing Lector gently in the Exceeds hammock.
'It's kinda cold' He thought sadly, he pulled the blankets closer around him trying to keep as much warmth around him. He hissed in displeasure when the blanket lifted up and the cold air of the night hit his back. "What the hell..." He shifted slightly but stopped when a warm arm found its way around his torso.
"Sorry..." The voice of Natsu whispered from behind him. "You were shivering so I thought you might want to... cuddle?" He questioned what he was saying. Sting sighed nervously, but was appreciating the added warmth. He nodded slowly.
"Yeah, that'd be nice...and sure, cuddling." He was thankful that it was too dark and his blush was hidden from view. He gasped when he was pulled closer into Natsu's chest.
"Is this comfortable?" Natsu asked. 'It definitely is for me' he thought cheerfully. Sting was wide eyed but managed to nod. "How about this?" Natsu placed his head in the crook of Sting's neck. After a moment, with Sting failing to respond, Natsu hesitantly pulled back, nervousness washed over him. "S-sorry I guess n-"
"It was fine, I liked it actually..." Sting interrupted quickly and awkwardly, stopping the fire mages retreat. Natsu grinned and brought his head back down after a minute.
"Ohh... okay then." He shifted a bit to get more comfortable. "Goodnight Sting." He grinned slightly, inhaling the blonds scent which calmed his nerves down immediately.
"G-goodnight, Natsu." He flinched once from the feeling of warm breath leaving the others mouth and flowing against his skin. And of course after a moment, Sting pulled a pillow against his chest. The same pillow that Natsu slept on earlier. Still covered in his scent Sting buried his nose in it and fell asleep to the scent filling his nose.

This project has no purpose
Summary: This is the story about the life of a "human" amidst a world that only appears to be earth at first glance. Long ago the face of this world resembled the typical tales of yore; of knights and fairies, swords and magic, however such an era has come and gone. Even the world of fantasy has progressed steadily into the modern epoch filled with the wonders of science and technology! In the ancient times a certain crisis had occured that lead to the quick decline of various magical species. Due to their low population and general incompatibility with the other races they could not crossbreed to save their numbers. Left with no other choice the major races of the world gathered together in an attempt to change the fate of this dying world. Their only hope was a special 'world-tier' magic known as 'the dusk of harmony'. The result of this magic would dissolve every race into their purest essences known as 'aspect' and instill them within the human population. The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too. These Pures are often times exceptionally talented and seen as near deities. This is the story of a perculiar boy who is born with the soul of a stranger from the world known as 'Earth'. With the memories and soul of a human, he too is a rare Pure; a pure human. --- This project literally has no purpose and is being written because I felt like it. There isn't any semblance of a solid direction nor have I thought about any characters aside from the main character and a few auxiliary cast. If you would like to contribute to building this world with me then please contact me through a DM or by leaving a comment, I will be sure to credit you.
