《p1harmony files》first time meeting | hyung line

Still wondering why you let your best friend drag you along for a shopping spree, you agreed to stand outside the changing booth while they were trying on the clothes, that they picked out.
You didn't really mind anyone in the store, honestly you couldn't have cared less. Stomping your foot quietly to the beats of the store's elevator type of music, you were most definitely just mindig your own business when out of the blue someone walked straight into you. If it wasn't for the jeans-tower in your hands, no joke you would probably have died.
You snapped your eyes at the person, utterly confused. Why would anyone on this earth want to disturb your peaceful melancholy?
"Hey, sorry! You okay?"
Unexpectedly, this time there was no shouting about how you're in the way.
The boy, – more like a young man – standing in front of you pushed his funny, pink sunglasses onto the top of his head and placed his palms together then bowed apologetically. Never have you ever seen such a stylish somebody in this area, outside your best friend maybe. He was wearing baggy, black jeans with a casual t-shirt and a denim jacket, but even with all the cool accessories, his outfit wasn't even the most interesting thing about him.
There was something about the way he carried himself and you couldn't look past his handsome features.
"Could be better."you mumbled, causing his eyes to widen a bit.
"I mean I'm good, it's ok!"you corrected yourself.
"Ugh, I really didn't mean to push you, I didn't see you here."he apologized again.
"Yeah, I could literally hide behind these."you lifted your friends clothes into the air.
"I see,"he mumbled, which seemed to lead you two to awkward silence. "So you're not alone here, right?"
He carried on with the conversation, which meant...it probably meant he's the type to talk a lot, even with complete strangers, 'cause after all that's what you were.
"No."
"Sooo who are you with?"
"My friend."you turned your head only to see no one around the changing booths. Your friend was still occupied with clothes.
"No offense but you must be such a dry texter."
"Yah! How do you know that?"you snapped.
"I don't know, you're not very communicative."he placed his hands on his hips, that attractive little smile not leaving his lips for a second.
"I don't even know you," you say. "Hello, you're a stranger!"
"So prove it."
You raise an eyebrow.
"Prove what?"
"That you're not a dry texter."
Why is he like that? You had no idea about his intentions. He ran into you in the shopping centre, so what should you expect? Though he didn't quite look like a creep, he was still...weird, asking weird questions and now making you prove something. You had nothing to prove. "But on the other hand, " you thought to yourself "he's a good-looking boy who probably just wants to get my number."

"How am I supposed to do that?" you keep acting dumb just for the sake of it. You heard it helps when it comes to making boys interested in you.
"Ughh, give me your phone."
He reaches out with his hand.
"Sure, and after that I'll let you run away with it." you nod, putting all your friends' chosen jeans onto a chair.
"Just give it to me, oh my gosh..." he laughed while watching you take your phone out of your back pocket.
You handed it to him hesitantly. You didn't do it because you trusted him, oh no. But you were one hundred percent sure he could bring some action into your life, even if the magic lasts for a few days or weeks only. You didn't know then, how much you needed him to shake your world up.
"See?" he looked straight into your eyes while placing your phone back into your palm. "I gave it back." with his other hand he even wrapped your fingers around it.
"Yeah, thanks." you kept staring at his number, then finally decided to call it. You weren't going to text first and you needed him to know that.
"Oh..." he placed his finger on the decline button while keeping his little smile and the eye contact. "I see, okay."
That was the moment your friend choose to break through the door, searching for you. It was also your moment to get the hell out of this situation. Okay, you kept your cool in front of him, but the only thing you felt like doing was to sink into the ground and never come back. You knew you were blushing or at least you felt your cheeks burning and his stupidly handsome face didn't help you calm down at all.
"Everything ok, Y/n?"your friend waved.
He was gone. He was gone and you didn't even get to ask his name.
"Umm, sure, yeah..."
As soon as you left the shopping centre, sipping on your daily cup of coffee you felt your phone buzzing in your pocket, which could only mean one thing...well two, if you include your mum yelling at you via text to bring a box of cheerios home.
You had to keep your head down to avoid any questions from your best friend. After all you didn't want them to wonder about your smile, that kept sneaking up onto your face whenever the boy – Keeho, as he mentioned –, crossed your mind.
You hated your job from the bottom of your heart.
You never complained though because you liked that little coffee shop and your friendly co-workers but the anxiety of meeting your boss was one of the worst things you've ever experienced in life. What you also hated was to travel to the same building with the same bus, and to hear the same words every single day. "You can never do it right." "You're a disappointment." Oh, or the latest: "I now regret employig you."

All you wanted was to support yourself through your studies but you ended up living in a real-life nightmare and the worst part was, you couldn't allow yourself to leave this hell.
The coffee shop was more flooded with people than usual that day, and one of your collegues was sick, meaning that your thoughts were already all over the place when you were trying to serve the fiftythird iced americano. You nearly made it to table six when a woman decided you were going to have the worst time of your life. Standing up, she didn't notice you and if only you saw her in time, you could've saved yourself, but no. In a blink of an eye the chaos was already fated, and the americano landed in front of an innocent costumer's legs. Day? Made.
You started to curse yourself with a shaky breath while the boy kneeled down to help you pick up some pieces of the broken glass, blessing you with a soft smile.
"That one was probably mine."he speculated.
In your head, you could already hear your boss yelling at you and making you feel miserable just for the fun of it.
"I'm sorry about that. I'll bring you another americano in no time." you said.
"It's okay, I'm paying for both of them."
"Gosh, please don't." you shook your head. "I'm gonna be so fired after this anyways."
You laughed it off even though all you wanted was to go sit alone in a corner and cry your heart out, especially now that you were aware of all the gazes landing on you and the sweet guy, who was willing to help you despite you making a complete mess again.
"No one has to know."he replied right before your boss could reach the table he sat at before you threw a whole menu at him.
"What happened?"your boss asked.
He looked furious but he still managed to keep a friendly tone in front of the guests.
"Actually, " the boy stood up, looking straight into his eyes. "I spilled my coffee accidentally and this kind waitress was very quick to help me. Oh, and I'd like to pay for this broken glass too."
You were prepared for anything but this. He lied to your boss and covered up your mistake without a problem. Listening to the tone of his voice, even you almost believed him.
"You're a cold blooded liar."you mumbled to him.
"I prefer Theo."
"Thank you, Theo. For everything."you bowed.
As soon as you laid your gaze on that one piece of chocolate cake in the pastry shop, that you went to every single evening after work, you knew there was nothing, that could possibly stop you from having the best night ever at home with your cake. You never wanted to eat out anyways, especially not alone, so taking your food to your apartment would have been just as fine. You even got lucky, there was only one boy before you.
Getting closer, you overheard his conversation with the cashier. He sure was buying that last piece of chocolate cake, that you already picked out for yourself. What a cruel world.
"Excuse me!" you walked up to the cashier. "Could you please tell me, if there's another piece of chocolate cake?"
You felt the boy's eyes fixed on you from the side.
"We ran out of it just now." she politely explained.
You ended up buying two cupcakes, which you weren't quite satisfied with, but what else could you have done? You missed having some sweetness in your life beside your daily tasks and habits.
While you were paying, you could take a closer look at the cause of your little headache. He was indeed handsome but that didn't make up for the fact that he took the last piece of chocolate cake. You didn't know him, but one thing was for sure. In your heart, he was going to stay forever unforgiven.
"Hey!"
Turning around, your eyes met with the cake stealer's chest. Unexpected turn of events, you would say.
"Uhh sorry! I'm Jiung. I don't mean to bother you, I just thought...I think I bought what you wanted, and..."
"Stop, it's okay!" you shook your head. "You don't have to apologise."
He clearly felt sorry, otherwise he wouldn't have made the effort to talk to you. About the cake at least.
"But you wanted this."
"True. But I've got cupcakes instead. I love them." No lies were told.
"Me too!" he grinned.
You couldn't deny his energy raised your mood in an instant. Cake stealer or not, having seen his smile made you think. "He must be a very bubbly person, probably fun to be around too." Forever unforgiven? You couldn't feel that way anymore.
"Why not share?" he suggested.
"That makes no sense."
"No, just think about it. I love cupcakes and you love this cake, so we could just share them." he explained.
"Stop right there! You don't even know me. And I didn't want the cake that much!" you raised your hands in front od your chest.
"That's a shame. But we don't need to be strangers, you know."
You had no idea what has gotten into you when you finally sat down and started a conversation with him in the shop. Your behaviour remained strange as you even enjoyed the little chit-chat. There was something about getting to know Jiung that excited you to an insane level and surprisingly, as the closing time approached, you felt like you could spend another evening with him. Not just one, maybe two. But you would've been fine with even more.
