* Three Months Later *

Going back to black, I was thinking about giving my hair a break again. But I wasn't sure yet because the marking period was slowly coming to a end and I didn't need to be late to class over having to do my natural hair everyday. Legacy was already a damn distraction with him coming over and not wanting to leave until I fall asleep on him. Or if he had practice because once we got back from Christmas break, they had three games and won all three. The coach wasn't playing with either of them, my boys were coming home sore as hell. Especially cry baby ass Legacy, he's always wanting a damn massage now. And he's actually lucky that my cast came off the same week we gotten back as well. So that mean I was back to work and making my own money once again. I was happy that I was able to have my job back, but also sad because today was the day Brandon moved away with Kamira. Malaysia had called me in the morning telling me how some moving truck was in front of the house. So I kept checking on Mrs. Graham every chance I got because we're the main ones that were too emotional for our own health. And with Brandon actually moving that far away, I know Mrs. Graham shared a couple of tears. Poor Kamira because she probably was so confused about what's going on. "Kaylee?!" Clementine yelled from the bathroom. "Yes?!" I yelled back. We were getting ready for school, well I've been ready. I was just waiting on Clementine so we could leave out together and grab something to eat before class. "Can you come help me with this damn leotard?!" She yelled sounding frustrated. So I placed my phone down and walked into the bathroom. Clementine was standing in front of the mirror while trying to zip the back up. "Your arms are too little." I giggled and easily zipped up her leotard. "Thank you. How does this look?" She asked with a unsure look. But she looked so pretty to me ! Wearing a nude leotard, a nude fur jacket, cut up denim jeans and her nude Bootie's,all she was missing was a pair of shades and she has stole my heart. I really loves the way she dresses. "Clementine why are you so cute?!" I asked making her laugh at me. "No this is so put together, I need a picture. I'll be back!" I yelled before rushing out of the bathroom and grabbing my phone. Walking back into the bathroom, Clementine was on the phone while smiling. She must've been talking to Calvin, so I just took a couple of off guards of her and went to grab my coat along with my bag. Yes this weather was still on the cold side feeling like the season wasn't ever going to change. It actually got much colder and messier, including that annoying ass snow. We had three snow storms for the pass three months. I was more than ready for April to approach and the temperature to rise. So getting bundled up, I slipped my bag straps on my shoulder and slid my phone into my coat pocket. "He plays too much." Clementine giggled walking out of the bathroom. "When is he ever serious?" I retorted making her laugh some more. I guess you can say things lightened up between Calvin and I, but I still couldn't stand his smart mouth ass. "Be nice to bae." Clementine smiled while bundling herself up as well. I playfully rolled my eyes as I rubbed some Carmex on my lips. These lips couldn't be chapped out here with this cold and windy air. "Come on." Clementine said so we walked out of the room and let the door lock. Walking towards the elevator, Legacy had sent me a text.

"So what the hell went on between Cassandra and Madison yesterday?" Clementine scrunched up her face. I shrugged while giggling. "I'm pretty sure Jayde was around to put us on." I said making Clementine laugh. "Oh I know that's the truth." We laughed together as the elevator opened up showing Zillah and Paisley. "Good morning babies." I cooed while we walked onto the elevator. "Ain't no damn good morning these bitches aren't loyal!" Zillah spat. I scrunched my face up as I looked over at her. "What's going on?" Clementine quickly asked before I could even ask my damn self. "Its not the time for you to be defending anyone Clementine." Zillah sighed loudly and began to shake her leg. I raised my eye brow up at her and laughed. "Who are you talking about Zillah? What did I do that wasn't loyal to you?" I asked. She looked over at me and rolled her eyes. "Put that trifling ass ho onto my motherfucking man!" She spat my way. "Who?!" I yelled at her. The only person I put Yoshi on with is her, so who the hell is she talking about ? "Jayde?" I asked being that's the only friend that I bought around them. "No. That Madison ho! Bitch is going to tell me oh thank your friend Kaylee for letting know what's up with Yoshi!!" Zillah yelled uncontrollably. I sucked my teeth and kept quiet. She obviously doesn't listen to me when I talk, like how many times did I complain to them about Madison and Cassandra. "Kaylee doesn't even fuck with Madison." Paisley scrunched her face up at Zillah. Thank you, but I kept quiet. There was no need to argue with Zillah because its obvious if its not about Yoshi, her ass apparently doesn't care. So she could stay mad all she wants. "How do you know?" Zillah mugged Paisley. "She says it all the time and you need to calm down. The only person you should be mad at is Yoshi! That's the niggas that's being disloyal to you yet you're yelling at the same bitch that put you on with him!" Paisley yelled at Zillah. Zillah dropped her head and began to cry uncontrollably. "Why me?!" She cried as the elevator door opened and Jayde stood there clueless. "What's wrong with Zillah?!" She quickly panicked. "Everything." Zillah answered herself as we all walked off of the elevator and I stood behind with Jayde. "She's mad Madison slept with Yoshi, but guess what?" I asked Jayde as she rolled her eyes. "What?" She asked. "This lying ass ho Madison told Zillah that I put her onto Yoshi." I frowned making Jayde shake her head. "I told you that you should've beaten both of their asses. Now after class you're going to beat that ho ass." Jayde simply shrugged. I nodded my head while sighing.

Walking up to Madison as she smirked, I noticed that Cassandra was back in her original seat. "What did you tell Zillah?" I frowned placing my bag down on Cassandra's old desk. She was about to get the ass whooping of her life especially being that Professor Jones wants even here yet. So who was going to kick me out ? Oh that's right, nobody. Madison smirked as she flipped her hair. So I just slapped the shit out of her and blood easily split from her lip. "Now do something." I laughed stepping back. Madison looked so surprised as she held her face. "So what did you tell Zillah?" I asked as Quentin hopped up. If she was going to play mute again, I was going to bust her nose next. So I advised that she spoke up any minute now. "Yo chill Kay. What's going on?" Quentin asked separating us. "She lied saying that I'm the reason her and Yoshi fucked!" I yelled making him look back at her with the only mug on her face. "What the fuck Madison?" He frowned. "Today obviously isn't my day." Madison punk ass said as she quickly packed her things back up and rushed out of the room. Quentin let me go as he went chasing after her. "Why did you do that to my friend?" Cassandra asked as I grabbed my things and went to go sit next to Jayde. "Shut up bitch, that ain't your friend." I said while rolling my eyes. Like I said, Jayde would tell me what went on with them two and she did. Madison ho ass tried to convince Cassandra to have a threesome between them two and Kaiden, but Cassandra wasn't with it. So Madison still tried to reach out to Kaiden without Cassandra around, but he turned her down and told Cassandra what happened. And Cassandra was about to fight Madison yesterday, but Professor Jones stopped all the commotion and began to teach the class. "You handled that ho real good, but you're so damn hard headed I said after class!" Jayde laughed at me. I laughed and shrugged. "I had to take my anger out on someone because Zillah had me ready to choke her pretty little ass, she's lucky I love her." I sighed while pulling out my binder. "I know that's right, but are you okay?" Jayde smiled at me sincerely. I furrowed my eye brows until I realized that Brandon was moving out today. That's because something is always going on in this damn school. "Yeah. Brandon is lucky that I'm not home or I would've made things ten times harder." I giggled knowing how hard I would've been crying by now. "Cry baby ass." Jayde teased making me laugh at her. Here came Professor Jones with a smile on his face. "Good morning class!" He cheered making us all laugh at his excitement. But we reluctantly agreed on saying good morning to him right back. "Kaylee they want you at the counselor office." Professor Jones said before taking a seat. I jerked my head back, but quickly packed my bags. What the hell did these people want from already ? I've been on the high honor roll list and never missed a day of class, so what could they possibly want ? And I haven't really been going through anything, so I was fine. "Text me boo." Jayde said as I stood up. "Right after I leave." I said before walking out of class then slowly but surely made my way to the main office. Walking into the building, I showed the security guard my student ID and went over to the counselor's office. "Its Kaylee Walter." I said after knocking on the door. "Come in, its open." Ms. Camara spoke behind the door. Walking into the office, I softly smiled. Ms. Camara was prettier than I thought she would be, especially being that she's in her late fifties, you know looks fade around those times. But nope, Ms. Camara probably could still win Miss America if she wanted to. "Did I do something wrong?" I asked. "No, no just have a seat." She smiled while sitting in her chair as well. So I nodded and took a seat on the chair that stood in front of his desk. Placing my bag in my lap, I softly sighed. He's lucky I was happy to be out of class or I would've rushed him into talking. "Kaylee, what's your background with family?" Ms. Camara smiled at me brightly. I rubbed my lips together and sighed. "Well I'm adopted, so that's the only kind of family I could tell you about." I shrugged slightly. "Mhm okay. So you know nothing about your biological parents?" Ms. Camara frowned at me. I shook my head 'no'. "Wow okay so here's the thing. There are some people trying to reach out to you, but I'll have to speak with your adopted parents before actually letting them get to see you. Deal?" Ms. Camara smiled at me. But this wasn't no smiling manor. If Brandon moving away today didn't ruin my day, finding out that my biological parents wanting to know me sure as hell did. "No Ms. Camara, do me a favor and you tell those people that I moved to Hawaii or went to Mexico because I got pregnant at fifteen. Don't even tell my mother about that nonsense." I began to sniffle as I zipped my coat up and grabbed my bag before walking out of her office then out of the building. Rushing back to the dorm, once I got there I just laid in my bed and cried. All this time and now they finally want to get to know me ? A whole nineteen years of me living, why now ? This is the shit I'm talking about.

"Kaylee?!" Clementine yelled making me hop up out of my sleep. She seemed as if she was crying, so I quickly rubbed my eyes. Everyone was standing around me as I looked up at them. Even Calvin was here with a look of worry on his face. "What's going on? Who's hurt? Who's missing?" I began to panic while hopping out of my bed. "You!! We thought you were hurt or missing! How come you just disappeared?" Clementine sniffle. Me, hurt or missing ? How in the hell. "I'll explain that to you later, but I'm fine. Ro, Kai and Legacy can you guys stay?" I sighed remembering the event that happened today. "Wait before anything goes on can we go talk Kaylee?" Zillah asked making me look her way. "Okay come on." I said slipping on my K slippers. Legacy smirked seeing that I was using his gift. "That's what I like to hear!" Paisley clapped making everyone laugh at her. Walking out of the room, Zillah began to cry. "I'm so sorry for listening to that girl and not you. I could careless about Yoshi anymore, I'm only crying because I almost lost a great friend over a boy that only wanted me because I wanted him." She cried even harder. So I just held her close while rubbing her back. "It's fine and I slapped Madison anyways." I shrugged making Zillah look up at me with a smile. "You did what Kaylee?" She giggled. I wonder why Quentin was here even after I slapped the taste out of his girlfriend's mouth, but then again she did cheat on him. "Yes I slapped her for lying on me. You should've seen her face." I shrugged making Zillah laugh some more. "You're the worst, I see why Legacy and Clementine is so obsessed with you." She smiled. "You know you are too." I joked making her playfully push away from me. "Matter of fact....you're right." Zillah giggled as we hugged it out. "Stop trying to steal my girlfriend!" Paisley yelled behind the door making us laugh at her. We went back inside and I felt the need to bother Calvin. "Awwwe you was worried about me?" I teased while pinching his cheek. He slapped my hand down, but nodded his head 'yes'. "Who else would I be able to make mad in five seconds? Cle other friends all ignore me." Calvin snickered and I playfully punched him. "You see Ro?! He even admitted to bothering me." I pointed at Calvin. Roman chuckled and shook his head. "Y'all asses annoy each other." Legacy smirked making me smile. "Its him ugly and you know that." I said while playfully rolling my eyes. "What I tell you about that shit?" Legacy joked making me giggle. "Who are you talking to like that?" I smirked while standing in front of him. "Nigga who are you running up in like that?" Legacy smirked standing up towering over me. "Not you." I smirked wrapping my arms around his torso. "Punk ass." Legacy chuckled but hugged me back. "I missed you fat face." Legacy said and kissed my lips. "I missed you too --- and Kaiden cut me off. "Yo y'all know y'all not the only ones in this room right?" He scoffed making us laugh at him. "Felt like it." I shrugged and sat with Legacy. "Awwwe." Shante cooed making me blush and rest my head on Legacy's shoulder. "That's my baby." Legacy smiled wrapping his arm around me. "See I was at a appointment when your behind scared the shit out of me, so now that you're fine... I'll go. Love you Kay." Jayde said before kissing my cheek then waved goodbye and left. "Next!" Calvin joked making us all laugh at him. "Come on Zillah, let's give these dry ass couples there space." Paisley smirked while grabbing her hand then said goodbye as well. "Babe can you step out real quick? Kaylee has to talk to Roman, Kaiden, Legacy and I real fast. You too Quentin, pretty girl Tae Tae and Zeus." Clementine smiled at them. "You got her pregnant didn't you?" Calvin joked making me suck my teeth at him. He don't even know how much trouble I'll get in by Roman if that was true. "No nigga just get out." I waved him off. So they all just walked out of them and I softly sighed being that all eyes were on me now. "What Calvin said better not be true." Roman mugged me. Legacy and I didn't even have sex, so that would be highly impossible to get pregnant. "What?! No! Don't listen to him! Its actually something that have to do with my parents." I mumbled the last part while playing with my fingers. "What's wrong with my mother and father in law?!" Clementine gasped loudly. That's all for Brandon, she plays too much. I cracked a smile and shook my head. "No you got it wrong, they're fine. I'm talking about my biological parents." I said while wiping my falling tears. I swear I have to practice on not being so damn emotional !! That's all I do is cry and to wish whatever is bothering me to go away. "What about them Kay?" Roman quickly rushed to my side. "They- they want to meet me." I choked on my words as more tears raced down my face. Why couldn't they live happily without me ? I was obviously doing good being that I'm in college. "And what do you want to do?" Roman asked rubbing my back. I shrugged and covered my face as I cried. "Honestly Kay, I think you should give them a chance. You gotta show them that you made it without them." Roman and Legacy said at once. I wiped my face as I shook my head 'no'. "So I don't deserve to put up a fight with them?" I sniffle. Clementine was too busy crying with me, but she still managed to shake her head 'no'. "Hell nah Kay! Show up happy and looking good as fuck! Show them that you're still the shit. Don't let them dead beats have you crying because that's when I get involved!" Kaiden snapped making me smile. "Thanks Kaiden. But how do you guys think Mrs. Graham will take this news?" I wiped my face dry. "She's going to cry just like you, but as long as you still let her know that she's your mom, she'll be fine." Roman shrugged. I nodded my head then went over hugging Clementine. "Please stop crying? I'm fine now." I rubbed her back. "Its just I hate seeing my babies go through things they can't control. But I'll be fine." Clementine sniffle and I wiped her tears for her. "Let's give Cle a hug so she can stop crying." I cooed while laying my head on her shoulder. So the boys came over giving her tight hugs. "Damn Legacy. I feel for you. You have not one but two cry babies that you have to look after." Kaiden joked while patting his shoulder. "Shut up." Legacy chuckled and smiled at me. "You aight babe?" He rubbed my hand. I nodded my head while giving a small smile. "Give me a kiss and I'll be fine." I smirked making him softly chuckle and kiss me on my lips. "See? I'm fine." I giggled. "I see." He smirked as I stood up as Roman let everyone back into the room. Legacy pulled me closer to him and slid his hands around my waist. "When did you get that tattoo?" His whispered in my ear. I giggled already knowing the tattoo he was talking about. It was my name going down my back in Japanese letters. I've gotten it for my birthday, but since its been cold I haven't worn any crop tops. And besides I was too drunk to remember about the tattoo that night. "On my birthday with Ro." I said and he smirked. "I like it." He smiled and spun me around. "Thank you." I smiled. "How many months are you?" Calvin asked as soon as he walked into the room. "Yo chill." Legacy said before taking a seat and pulling me onto his lap. I stuck my tongue out at Calvin while sticking up both middle fingers. "Is everything okay?" Shante smiled looking over at me. "Yeah I'm fine, thanks." I smiled. "Criminal minds and chill?" Kaiden suggested. "I'm with it!" I cheered making Legacy laugh at me. "Yo bro I think she's low key a serial killer, everything that has to do with killing she loves to watch!" Legacy laughed with Roman. "That's crazy ass Kaylee for you." Roman chuckled. "But we could do that. Let's go get snacks first." Clementine suggested while hopping up to grab her coat. "Okay everybody let's go on a field trip!" I cheered making everyone laugh at me. I slipped on my Uggs then grabbed my coat. As they all got ready, I stood by Legacy. "I missed you too." He chuckled wrapping me in his arms. I smiled being that he took the words right out of my mouth.
