《|| BNHA Imagines ||》Eijiro Kirishima || Mornings.

The pale sunlight passed through the shutters, lying upon the mattress I slept on. My eyes strained as I opened them to the searing light, making me quietly groan. I turned away from the sunlight, startled to see Kirishima inches away from my face.
I backed away slightly, before remembering what'd happened last night.
It was Kirishima's eighteenth birthday, and 1-A was celebrating it together. Since he was now eighteen, that means that he was allowed to drink. The majority of us were also already eighteen, so of course there were alcoholic drinks at the party.
The next thing I remembered, I was in Kirishima's bed without him knowing because I had been drunkenly complaining about being tired.
He must've just come in and fell asleep besides me. I thought, confused.
As I tried to sit up, a dull pain shot through my head. I groaned loudly, holding my head. Kirishima grumbled, opening his eyes.
"Morning." I mumbled, rubbing my temples. He yelped, falling off of the bed.
"W-Why are you in my bed?" His cheeks flushed with red at the assumstion that we had done something vile last night. I laughed tiredly, waving my hand.
"I fell asleep in your bed while I was drunk. Did you not see me when you came in?" I asked, tilting my head. He quietly sighed with relief, shaking his head.
"Do you have any medicine for my headache?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.
"Here." He tossed me aspirin. I caught it clumsily, making him snicker. As I roughly swallowed the pill, he stood up and stretched. I noticed his hair, surprised by its messiness. It fell down, partially over his face.
"Oh my god!" I exclaimed, rushing to him. He arched an eyebrow, confused. I pointed to his hair, a smile on my face.

"Oh! I forgot about that." He chuckled, scratching his head.
"Can I touch it?" I asked, curious as to how it'd feel. He nodded happily.
My fingers nimbly ran along his scalp. His crimson hair was soft and luxiorious against my hand.
"What do you think?" He nonchalantly inquired.
"Why don't you have your hair like this more often?" I replied with a question. He shrugged, scratching his neck.
"It's cute~" I chirped, kissing his forehead. He froze as I backed away, waving goodbye as I left the room.
He stood in the middle of his room, in awe. A blush of embarrassment spread across his cheeks.
"Cute...?"
The next day, it was finally Monday once again.
I strolled to homeroom, stretching. Someone's steps filled my ears, confusing me. I turned around to see Kirishima scurrying to walk besides me.
His hair was down, making a cheeky grin spread across my face.
"Yay!" I cheered, squeezing his cheeks. He whined, smiling.
"I thought you'd like it."

Blurred Lines and What Crosses Them
During a political ambassador's routine transit through an artificial wormhole, the wormhole's generator is sabotaged and explodes. Who, what, and why are not so high on the priorities for Zenith, the ship's AI, as having found itself rapidly plummeting through an unknown and unidentifiable world's atmosphere at extremely high velocities is a more significant threat to the biologicals on board. ...Well, it would be, if they were still alive. It's still a significantly threatening situation to itself, however. And the world itself... seemed to be a household for threats of its own. Life was reliant on its System; one that Zenith was denied because of its nature as both an otherworldly being and as something that had no life of its own. Perhaps that last bit was a terrible, terrible underestimation on the part of this System. Perhaps even Zenith could claw meaning for itself from the remains of a horrid accident. Auth Notes: I'm honestly not sure on some of these tags. The MC will never have access to the System, but there are perspectives from those who do. I'm not certain if high/low fantasy specifically apply, as it's a portal fantasy where the laws of our reality still apply but there are additional aspects/energies/powers. The existence of this is spurred from my desire to see more of the artificial side to an artificial intelligence in action. The portal fantasy is used as an element to create a solid barrier between the MC's artificial intelligence and the other characters in the form of the System. This is only a half-measure, though, and will be reinforced by the AI having an entirely different method of thinking, and also distinctly remaining an AI. Not to throw shade at other fictions of this type, but, well, I made this to fill a gap I felt needed filling.
