《|| BNHA Imagines ||》Shouto Todoroki || Quiet. (Part 2)

It had been present day now, and you knew almost nothing of Todoroki. Not his name, his origin, or the highschool he was going to.
All you could possibly remember about that sad child you'd met on a seemingly depressing day for you was that he had two-toned hair, and blue eyes.
By now, your mother was long-gone. The loss was hard on you, and the grief you held at such a young age for your mother turned into depression eventually. Loneliness was a large factor; you shut yourself out from the rest of the world.
It was present day now though, and things were changing. You were battling your depression fiercely, searching for medications and therapists as the first day of high-school neared at U.A.
You had gotten in on recommendations, and were more then excited to become a hero!
Things hadn't seemed so bad as they used to be, but you sometimes caught yourself wondering how that seemingly broken child was by now.
And so the first day of school had arrived.
You stumbled over your shoes as you walked out of the door, your father yelling behind you.
"Make me proud, alright?" He screamed. You gave a quick thumbs up and a glance back as you began to descend from the steps of the home, speedily walking down the blocks.
You were... late.
"5 minutes before the homeroom bell..." You cursed loudly, turning the corner. Luckily, you lived very close, and the school was only... 30 minutes from you on foot.
Fortunately, your quirk could fix that!
You stopped, tugging on your uniform-skirt as you huffed quietly.
Everything fell to blackness as you closed your eyes, focusing hard on the image of U.A.
After a moment, you opened your eyes to see the entrance of U.A. A proud smile came across your face as you yawned quietly, continuing to walk into the school.

Kids had walked into the school in their cliques, making small-talk. Ever since you'd cut off all your friendships, you'd practically forgotten how it'd felt to have someone else by your side.
You didn't mind being alone though.
Of course though, friends would be nice.
Eventually, you'd found the classroom just as the first bell rang. An exhale escaped your lips as you closed your eyes, trying to relax.
New school, new me... new school, new me... You thought, sliding the door open as you opened your eyes.
The first thing you'd seen was a rather burly looking man, his arm stuck out rather sternly as he bowed.
"Good morning! I'm Iida, pleasure to meet you!" His words were kind, but they came out very loudly. The boy continued to bow, his hand stuck out.
You hummed quietly, shaking his hand with a small smile. He seemed earnest.
".. (Y/N). My name's (Y/N)!" You replied, stepping aside so that people could get into the classroom. Iida nodded, taking in the new information.
Groups of your peers made their ways in, all looking very unique and strong!
A girl with skin the color of bubblegum and oddly shaped horns skipped by, waving. You tilted your head with a smile, noticing her crimson eyes.
"I'm gonna go sit now, alright Iida? It was nice meeting you!" You chirped, patting his shoulder gently. He nodded, his expression slightly relaxing.
You made your way to your assigned seat, setting down your bag as you reclined.
You noticed that the classroom was still half-empty as you observed the unfamiliar faces, resting your chin on your hand. Eventually, the second bell rang and the last people arrived.
And then you'd seen him.
That familiar two-toned hair and.. one blue eye was so jarring that you sat up immediately, watching the boy look around at the new faces. Eventually, he had seen you, and hesitated for a moment, his face scrunching up.

You tilted your head, arching an eyebrow at the boy. He seemed rather disturbed..
Did he not remember you?
You felt slightly hurt that he wouldn't remember you, but shrugged it off. You were probably a nobody in his eyes; just another person who tried to make him feel better about what had happened to him.
He realized he was assigned in the seat in front of you, and stiffly moved to the table. You sighed as he sat down, glancing at your cautiously.
"Hi.. again...?" You said, not knowing what to say. That confused him even more as he looked up at you.
Only then did you notice that the bandage wasn't there. In the place of the white-patch was a red marking, and a light-grey pupil. Oh, he has heterochromic eyes!
"What... do you mean?" He said quietly, looking at your features. You had looked so familiar too him and he couldn't place his finger on it.
"I've met you once in a hospital." You said, hoping that'd jog his memory in some sort.
A look of realization hit him harder then you'd thought. His face shifted into one completely different; his eyes had widened and his jaw had dropped only a little.
How familiar that expression seemed to you.
"I..I... Thank you. For what you said back then.." He scratched his cheek, averting his gaze from you with a blush on his cheeks. You closed your eyes and smiled, nodding.
"It's no problem at all." You replied, watching the blush grow.
"W-What were you in the hospital for, back then?" You expression had slightly shifted, but you shook off the sadness.
"For my mother. She was sick, then..." The boy felt guilty for asking as he saw me stare at the floor, closing my eyes in reminiscence.
"My name's Todoroki." He said almost silently, reaching out his arm for a firm handshake. His hand was slightly shaky, but you disregarded it.
"I'm (Y/N)." You shook his hand, letting it stay there for only a moment before retracting your hand with a cheeky grin you couldn't hold back.
And so you were each other's first friends'.
