It was serene. Leaves fell from the old and tired swaying trees, dancing every-so slowly down onto the concrete. The wind blew, sending the tiniest shivers down my spine for only a moment.
It was too serene.
"Where are we going, Daddy?" The oblivious child asked, rather quietly. She could tell that her father, Izuku, was bothered by something. You picked up your child, smiling.
Your lips twitched for a moment, but you kept a straight face.
She tilted her head, resting her tiny head on your shoulder. You looked over at Izuku.
He had been staring into space, eyes narrowed. You sighed, rubbing his shoulder. Only then, had he realized you were looking at him. He hummed quietly, looking over at you.
His eyes looked empty, his skin so pale.
"I'll be with her, okay? Just go." You said, feeling empathy for your husband as he smiled at you, nodding.
"Thank... you..." He said between a sniffle, kissing your forehead.
Your child nudged Izuku, asking for a kiss of their own. Izuku kissed their forehead solemnly, ruffling their hair weakly.
The child was content, and you let them nuzzle their face into your chest so that they couldn't see as you cried silently, retreating from the cemetery.
Was it really the right thing to do...? To leave him all alone...
"You never answered my question, Mommy." She murmured, looking up to see you aggressively wiping the hot tears trailing down your cheeks.
"Ah..."
"He just wants to visit someone... that he cares about."
Izuku stood over the dramatically large gravestone, smiling. It was so bittersweet.
In this vast field of gravestones, there stood the tallest one.
It was... All Might's gravestone.
A large statue stood as the gravestone. Just looking at the sculpture, Izuku could feel himself crumbling. His composure left him, and he dropped to the ground, clutching the blue lilacs against his chest.

His tears fell. Down his cheeks. Down his neck. And onto the ground.
The statue towered over him as he laid in front of All Might, sobbing.
"W-Why can't you be here..." His words were caught in his throat, only coming out as wheezes and murmurs.
Izuku had never lost someone so important to him, so for All Might to pass away hurt him... too much. The grief was overwhelming. It crushed him.
And so you watched as he cried, placing the flowers beside the other dozens of flowers, picture frames, and candles.
You put your child in the car, kissing them goodbye before running back to Izuku as he sat on the ground, sniffling and crying.
By the time you had tackled him in a hug, you were already crying yourself.
The two of you had known All Might during high-school, and so his death was... hard. But it was a whole other level of anguish for Izuku. And you knew that very well.
You stroked his hair as he put his face in your lap, shaking his head.
"This hurts so much..." He muttered, quietly. You shook your head, lip quivering as you looked up at the statue.
"I know... I know, Izu-Chan." He looked up at you. seeing the snot and tears all over your face. You realized how nasty you must've looked suddenly, and yelped as you wiped your face.
He couldn't help but smile as he wiped his own messy tears, sitting up.
You wiped the tears away harshly, your eyes only seeing an eerie blackness as you covered your eyes with your sleeves. After finally cleaning your face, you finally removed your sleeves from your face to see Midoriya holding your right hand, his forehead resting on your palm.
"Thank you for being here for me." He said with a shaky sigh and a kiss on my hand, before standing up. I looked up at him, a last tear falling as I had thought he'd looked just like All Might's statue then from where I sat.
He held out his hand, picking me up from the dirt.
"We'll get through this, I know we will... okay?" You muttered, leaning against him as you clutched his arm. He nodded, putting his chin atop your head.
"...Plus Ultra."
