"Rain, rain, go away..." The words left your lips gently, barely even heard by the world around you. Rain poured down, creating a pleasant white noise for those on their ways home.
Cars pattered with the droplets of water hitting their windshields, slowly sliding down the glass and onto the pavement below them. The precipitation created a damp, dewy smell in the air around you. With a sharp inhale, the whiff entered your lungs.
"What a beautiful day." You heard from the person passing you, on the phone giggling. The foggy, thick air was indeed beautiful.
However for you... it was not.
"Of course, I had to forget my umbrella..." You cursed and mumbled for a moment furiously, before taking a deep breath. Calm down, you thought in order to soothe your anger.
Once again, you began to sing the same tune quietly, calming down slowly but surely. As you sang, the rain slid down your back frigidly, leaving damp stains all over your uniform.
The torrent of rainwater drizzled down your neck now, making you gasp in surprise at the cold feeling. It made its way to your skirt, eventually trickling onto your thighs.
"Brr..." Your teeth chattered slightly. By now, anyone near your vicinity could clearly tell you were shivering.
The cars zoomed past you on the sidewalk; for a moment you felt insignificant compared to the large vehicles flying by. Somehow, it felt nice to be unimportant in that moment.
"Rain, rain..." The melody seemed lonely as it reverberated.
"Come again another day."
You were slightly started; this time, someone sung your song with you. The voice was sweet, like honey, as the person's breath hit the back of your ear. You twitched slightly, startled by the warm feeling.

Very curious, you turned around to see Tsuyu smiling. She wore a green scarf that matched her umbrella's color. Her presence made you light up with joy, and she noticed that happily.
"Tsuyu-chan!" You chirped, trying to hug her. However, she put her hand in front of her, slightly laughing through her scarf as she pointed to your soaked uniform.
"No hugs when you're wet!" She gently slid her finger down your steeped shirt, slightly tickling your sides. You giggled, swatting her hand away with a smile.
The two of you moved under the umbrella, adjusting so that both of you would fit under the temporary shield from the rain. As the rain ceased from hitting your body, you thanked Tsuyu quietly while adjusting your hair.
"Here, you're quivering." As Tsuyu removed her scarf, you noticed that her cheeks were slightly pink. She wrapped it around your neck; it covered the bottom half of your face.
The scarf smelled like vanilla and lavender. You took in the smell, beginning to feel warmer.
"I can't thank you enough, Tsuyu-chan. You saved me from getting a cold~!" She shook her head, which was her own way of letting you know it was fine. The two of you walked along the windy road in a comforting silence.
You looked away from Tsuyu's direction for a second, becoming beet-red.
For the majority of the year, the two of you had almost never talked only because you were never in the same friend group. You were friends with Kirishima, Bakugo, Mina, and the rest. She was with Uraraka and Momo. Even though you were a rather outgoing loud person, it seemed that you'd taken a liking to her quiet and kind manner. It was refreshing in the chaotic times training to become a hero.

So, to be talking with her like this... it was new. New to you. And new to her, too.
"(Y/N). Are you... okay? Your cheeks are super red..." She commented worriedly, pulling you out of the daze you'd been in. Tsuyu put the back of her hand up to your face, and noticed your cheeks were cold. Her eyes widened in surprise as she leaned forward.
"You're so cold!!" She exclaimed with a concerned gaze, removing the scarf from the bottom half of your face. You were flustered by how close to you she was, simply standing stiff as she put both hands on your cheeks.
"I-It's fine Tsuyu-chan. My house is just around the cor..." Your words slowly dissipated as your eyes trailed lower and lower, from her green, emerald eyes that reminded you of evergreens to her lips.
She noticed the way your demeanor changed as you averted eye contact, and a tiny little devilish smile appeared at the corners of her lips. Tsuyu leaned down, making you stare into her eyes once more. You were caught off guard, and backed up slightly in embarrassment.
"Ah, I'm sor-"
Tsuyu leaned upwards, and gently left a peck on my lips. She let it linger for a second, bringing her hand behind your neck to deepen the kiss. The rain engulfing us with its rhythmic sound almost made you lose track of the time.
You didn't care how long passed, but simply hoped the kiss wasn't a dream.
She parted from you, the same tiny smile on her face as she straightened. You couldn't form any words, and simply cocked your head to the side in confusion. She tenderly put the scarf back over your face.
"That should've warmed you up~."
