《A Normal Day... | Monster Girls X Male Reader》13. Time With A Snake
Advertisement
Once again for the millionth time this month your slumber was interrupted by some foreign presence. This time though, it wasn't a girl, it was the song All Star by Smash Mouth, barely loud but definitely still audible in such a quiet environment. Craning your neck you notice the beginning of Shrek starting to play on the television afoot the bottom of the bed and you begin to chuckle to yourself as you remembered the events of the previous night.
After a long (and very, very awkward conversation) with Apophis you two decided to just order room service and watch a film to cheer her up. From what you recollected you fell asleep midway through Up, which Apophis seemed to love for some reason. You were retracted from your inner most thoughts by the shifting of the blanket to your left. Upon moving your head 90 degrees you're instantly met with the fiery golden orbs of the snake lady. To say she terrified you is an understatement, as unlike the other girls (bar Petra) she was completely unreadable and completely random, a wildcard if you would, and probably the most cunning (and stunning) women you had ever met.
Apophis: "earth to (Y/N)~ are you that taken by my naked figure that you had a complete mental shutdown?"
wait... naked figure?... naked...NAKED FIGURE?!!!
Peering down you noticed she wasn't wearing a bra, due to the lack of straps and your face immediately flushed red, almost reaching the temperature of the sun.
(Y/N): "OH GOD"
She shifted up slightly, causing the blanket to slip down and reveal her... *ahem* assets. And in a vain attempt to not peek/perv you instinctively throw yourself backwards, subsequently causing you to the hit the wooden floor... and take the blanket with you.
God must hate you.

Looking up you're once again met with the gaze of the snakewoman, in all her glory... all of it.
(Y/N): "AHH! MY INNOCENT EYES!!"
Once again you throw the blanket over your head, obscuring your entire vision.
Apophis: "What's the matter master~ don't like what you see~?"
Apophis said this in the most seductive way possible, fully aware of what it was doing to you mentally... and physically.
(Y/N): "Just put some goddamn clothes on, it's getting stuffy under this blanket.."
Apophis: "Room for two~?"
Suddenly the cold sensation of her tail creeping up your leg alerted you.
(Y/N): "Not a fucking chance"
Apophis: "Ugh you're no fun... fine"
The sound of a ** echoed throughout the large bedroom and the sound of clothes shuffling signalled to you that she had gotten dressed. Emerging from the blanket you noticed she had indeed gotten dressed, but into your shirt... your only shirt at that.
Apophis: "If you don't want to see me topless, I'll see you topless instead"
You've got to be fucking joking.
(Y/N): "What do you expect me to wear?"
Apophis: "Absolutely nothing, just stand there and look handsome for me.."
Standing up yourself you awkwardly shuffle around the bed, whilst maintaining a certain distance from Apophis in order to reach your jeans which you'd lazily flung away the night before in a groggy stupor.
(Y/N):*mumbling* "Luci is going to circumcise me when we get back, if Kat doesn't get to me first"
Apophis: "What was that??"
(Y/N): "Nothing, lets just eat up and head back to see how bad the damage is"
Apophis: "Don't mind if I do~"
Swiftly and silently her tail coiled around both your legs, subduing you.
Great.

The white fox girl never knows what's good and bad, letting them cage her effortlessly without minding their evil sneers because of her over-the-clouds excitement. Finally, the white fox girl realizes she has been treated as nothing more than a prey item ready to be devoured. She's staring at the night skies for a long time and slowly closes her eyes once she gets that divine premonition from somewhere else. It was soothing in the mind. Her lovely smile showed acceptance with tears flowing through her pinkish cheeks, and her consciousness began fading away. Before her senses faded, that glowing angel descended, knelt in front of her, and wiped away her tears. She doesn't know how to express her gratitude to the heavens above for blessing her with a fulfilling and peaceful life. Even if it was a mere single moment, that gratitude and that smile of hers were the happiest things she could ever express. Time has passed, and the sun has risen from its slumber. The soul of the thousand-year-old white fox girl finally ascended to heaven, leaving her lifeless, cold body behind, leaning against rusted metal poles. It was the most peaceful death everyone wished for. Painless and no regrets. The men in charge of the front didn't notice anything out of the ordinary going on behind them. Well... The World of Marrh has been embroiled in a decades-long struggle between the eventually divided Zurul Horde and the ever-decaying Juman Empire. A half-orc and a human will eventually meet paths, their fates intertwined to save their dying world from their peoples' conflict and from an outsider's interference... Will they succeed, or will they succumb to failure? Only the Divine will truly know. NOTE: I upload chapters (about +2,500 words) on an irregular basis, so don't expect much from me. I write for fun only, and this book is an amateurish attempt at showcasing my world on The Spear and The Cross. If you still want to stick around, then go ahead. Maybe it'll be a fun ride. And also, a big thanks to my artist friend, Milkuii, for the wonderful cover art.
