《5SOS Sickfics》Ashton- Fever Fight
Advertisement
You could do one in which Ashton has a fight with the boys because of something he did unintentionally, and ends up going to sleep without talking to anyone, but the next day he wakes up feeling sick (like a headache, an upset stomach And fever), but the boys think he's lying and simply ignore him all day, to the point where Ashton can not stand it any longer and starts crying of pain and sadness from being ignored, then finally the boys believe in him and decide to help him, apologising for ignoring him (wow that's a pretty long request, sorry 😅)
The lads of 5 Seconds Of Summer were having a lads night. A video games, pizza and beer filled night that was sure to entertain. The lads were celebrating the launch of their third album, which was in two weeks. They were currently playing a game of GTA 5. Calum and Michael were robbing a bank while Luke commentated. Ashton felt the need to head to the toilet, so got up from his place on the end of the couch.
"ASHTON!" Michael yelled, thrusting his hands out in front of the table, as the pizza fell from the table. Ashton was passing past the table at the time and the pizza box was hanging over the edge of the table. Ashton's leg caught on the corner and off toppled the pizza. Michael failed to catch his love, instead just got himself killed in-game.
"WHAT THE HELL ASHTON!" Calum roared, pausing the game and throwing his hands up in the air.
"Why'd you do that?" Luke whined angrily. Ashton decided he didn't want to be there anymore, with all the lads and angry at him, so left without saying a word. The boys went back to playing, all pissed at Ashton. Ashton went to the toilet before heading up to his room and flopping down onto his bed, sighing heavily, hoping that tomorrow everything would be okay. The other three ended up playing through until 3 am, getting to sleep pretty late.
Ashton woke up about 40 minutes after the three lads had gone to bed, 3:42 am. He woke up with a pounding headache, which he first assumed was a hangover but then remembered he didn't drink last night. He looked around in confusion, feeling for his phone. Once he found it, he flicked it on wincing from the light, his head pounding. He quickly turns it away from him, facing it out to his room.

He debated going to get one of the lads, but they are probably all mad at him. If he woke them up they'd probably just get even more mad, so he'd better not. He laid down once again, trying to relax so he could go back to sleep, taking deep breaths. He shut his eyes and for a few minutes he was relaxed, his head not hurting, his stomach not churning. Suddenly, his stomach lurched and Ashton shot to his feet, running to the bathroom, a hand over his mouth.
He made it to the toilet, kneeling down and letting the food he had eaten last night make a return. He gagged, spluttered, retched and cried for several minutes, waiting for his stomach to calm down. Once he finished, he was to tired to get up, so ended up falling asleep right there and then, his head on the toilet rim. He slept peacefully for 5 hours until he was woken by an alarm in another room.
He opened his eyes wide with shock at the realisation of where he was. He quickly got up, shutting the door and locking it before looking at the bathroom. It wasn't as bad as he thought, just a small splatter of vomit lining the toilet seat. He grabbed some toilet paper and wiped it up, flush the toilet once he dropped it in. He then went over to the mirror, taking in his appearance.
Ashton didn't look well at all. He was pale, paler than Michael, his eyes has deep purple rings underneath and his node was bright red. He looked worse than he felt. His head was pounding, his stomach churning and he surely had a fever. Ashton washed his face and brushed his teeth before heading out of the bathroom, giving it a final check over. He walked down the hallway to his room.
He got changed into something reasonable, remembering that they had a few interviews today. He sighed as he swapped his sweats for skinny jeans and his hoodie for a long sleeved black top. Ashton then put on some converse before heading back into the bathroom. He looked through the bottom cabinet, looking for some cover-up. Once he found it he put it on the counter and opened it, applying it until his face looked just about normal.

Ashton headed down the stairs and into the living room where he found Calum and Michael playing a shooter, both still dressed in lazy clothes. Luke was in the kitchen cooking breakfast, also in sweats. Ashton sighed, walking into the room.
"We've got a couple interviews today lads, first one's in an hour so you'd better get ready." Ashton declared, putting on his responsible voice.
"Yeah yeah yeah. We'll finish this game and go get ready." Calum grumbled, not taking his eyes off the screen as he shot at Michael.
"I'd suggest..."
"I said we'd finish this game, Asshat. Did you not get the message?" Calum roared, pausing the game and standing up to face Ashton. It was clear the lads were still pissed at him after last night, just like Ashton had thought.
"Okay, just be ready..."
"Be ready by the time the car gets here, we know." Michael snapped, pulling Calum back down and un-pausing the game. Ashton rubbed his temples as he went over to the dining table, sitting down. He really didn't need this with how he was feeling.
"You alright there Ash?" Ashton hears a voice from the kitchen. He lifts his head up and looks over at Luke, who is looking at him worriedly.
"Yeah, just tired." Ashton answered, giving him a small smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"Aren't we all." Luke laughed. "Breakfast is nearly ready."
" 'm not hungry." Ashton mumbled, placing his head in his hands once again.
"Alright, I'll put yours back in the fridge then." Luke muttered. Ashton sighed, a second ago Luke was being caring and now he was annoyed. This was not going to be a good day.
An hour and a half later and the lads were now at their first interview. Ashton's head was screaming at him, his stomach hating him. He was almost at the point of bursting into tears. He was barely talking, unless specifically asked a question he was silent. It was difficult for him to talk and he didn't know how he was supposed to make it through the day. This interview was almost finished and Ash was glad.
As soon as the interviewer ended the interview, Ashton was up and headed to the toilets, asap. He made it just in time to collapse in front of the toiler, throwing up. His head spun as he tried to calm himself down and tears ran down his face. He managed to calm himself down enough to stop the vomiting, flush the toilet and leave the bathroom, but not enough to stop the tears. Ashton couldn't take it anymore, he needed help.
Ashton wiped his eyes as he got into the car where the lads were waiting. All three of them were on their phones, ear pods in. Ashton just sobbed, he couldn't stop himself. He needed the attention, he needed the help that the lads would give him. Eventually, Michael looked up from his phone, trying to figure out what was making the crying noises. When he saw Ashton curled up in the foetal position with tears running down his face, Michael was next to him instantly.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong Ash?" Michael questions softly. Ashton looks up at him and Michael is taken a back by how poorly Ashton looks. Michael coos and wrapped his arms around Ashton, pulling him into a hug. Ashton hugs back and the two stay there for a few minutes. Michael eventually pulls away and tells the driver to take them back to their place. He then pulls Calum and Luke's earphones from their ears, directing their attention to Ash.
The three spent the rest of the week looking after Ashton to get him back to health for their album release.

NEWDIE STEADSLAW Part I
NEWDIE STEADSLAW is a randomized array of Chekhov's red herrings, non sequitors ex machina, run-on sentences, and em dashes—so many em dashes. It's like if the Bible and Shakespeare had a baby that they surrendered to foster care, then it got adopted by Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss—the books, not the people—and then the baby fell down the stairs. In this metaphor, the stairs wrote the story. Part I is the tale of the adventures of Traycup and Roby as they try to hold down a job inside the hollow Earth—a place made possible thanks to the secret science of embargoed relativity—and they get distracted by dancing foxes, a giant's record collection, and something with a train, I think. It's a work of fiction—although to call it work seems insulting to, y'know, actual work—but the fiction label is apt, so, y'know, that's a win. Half the words are made up, and the other half are embarrassed to be seen with them. Part I is complete.

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
