《The Bookworm {Jasper X Reader}》The Grieving

You stared at the small nose-shaped gem on a cushion before you, crying yet again. You did that often after the attack on the barn. How long it was anyway? Almost a month? Through that time, a lot of questions piled in your mind.
Why didn't she want to come out? Was it because Quartzes are so big and they need a lot of time to reform, or is it because she chose not to?
'Why would she choose to stay in there for so long?' you thought as you hypnotized the gemstone with your eyes, your tears already drying out. You were crying for about a hour now, it was time to stop. 'What would she need all that time for? Or does she not feel like reforming at all? Maybe she's afraid?'
You sighed and laid your face onto the table. It didn't make sense! What would she be afraid of? You've never seen her being afraid about anything!
Well... maybe that one time on the roof... she looked so... terrifyied. Was it because she didn't want to lose you?
'Oh god, I should stop thinking like that, I'm crying again.' you scolded yourself as you raised your head to wipe the tear that rolled down your cheek.
You gently took the gem into your hands and ran your fingers across it, wondering if Gems can feel and hear the outside world while poofed. You smiled sadly at the thought. What would she think of you now, hearing you cry so much? Probably that you're a coward... You sighed and shook your head lightly, remembering one single nice thing that arose from this situation.
Yes, there really was at least one thing you could say was positive.
At least you knew what she really thought of you. You smiled bittersweetly, remembering her last words before she was crushed.

"But if I do get shattered, I want you to know... that I love you, (y/n)."
This sentence was echoing through your mind again and again for the whole past month. It was the only good thing about all that... which ironically made you even more sad. She was poofed before she found out that you returned her feelings, that all you wanted to do was just for her to grab you, cuddle you and stay like that forever.
You sighed and leaned forward, until your lips were almost touching the gem. "I love you too Jasper." you whispered, and then immediately blushed. What if she could really hear you? If yes, you would take advantage of it.
"You can come out now, you hear? I love you Jasper, I really do! Please return to me!" you spoke quietly, your eyes wattering again as you started letting out all your emotions. "Please... please... please" you murmured, letting a few tears drop.
You wouldn't have noticed the faint glow the gem was emitting through all the tears, if it didn't beam up into an almost blinding ray of light almost immediately. Your eyes widened as you wiped away the salty drops from your cheeks.
Finally.
