"Whe-where is it?!?!?" Clay yells as the gun that was once sitting in blind sight was gone. "God dam-" Clay was cut off my a loud boom coming from the room beside him.
"Wait what..." Clay says as he runs to his mothers bedroom. "WHAT THE FUCK!" Clay screams as he sees his mother laying there. Dead? "Sh-she...shot herself." Clay says as he looks around to see what to do.
"I think I need to call the cops. If they find her before I say anything I will get the blame for it." Clay says as he picks up the phone to call 911.
911: Hello this is 911 how may I help you
Clay: Hi yes my name is Clay and my mother just shot herself.
911: Oh...okay where do you live...?
Clay: Right...I live at 1**39 forest drive
911: Okay we will be on the way. I'd advise you to leave the house.
Clay: Yes ma'am.

*Georges pov*
A high pitched sequel comes right through Georges ear as his eyes painfully open. "Fuck...where am I..." George says as he looks around with blurred vision not being able to see much. "SIR HE'S AWAKE!" The doctor says as she pumps fluid into George.
"Am I-I dead...?" George says at the sudden voice he heard. "No no...you almost died but we were able to save you." The doctor says reassuring George that he's okay. "What happened...?" George says unsure what's even going on.
"Well...someone T-boned you then your friend "Clay" called us." The doctor says smiling at George. "Friend? Clay? He's not my friend. What'd he say." George says as he rolls his eyes. "Oh...well uh "Clay" just called us and told you where you were then hung up." The doctor says in a lighter tone.
"PATIENT 28 IS AWAKE MEDICAL ASSISTENCE NOW!" George hears coming from the hallway. "Well it seems the doctors are here to take care of you." Georges temporarily doctor says.
"Ah George it's so amazing to see you up. We thought you weren't going to make it." The doctor says as she starts to look over some paperwork. "Mhm yeah. When can I go home." George says even though he knows he's not ready too.

"Well sir you almost died...so it might be another day or two at the earliest." The doctor says to George in a undefined tone. "Let me out now." George says in a demanding tone but still being able to hear the pain coming from him. "I don't think you will be able to physically survive if I let you go home now." The doctor says. "I SAID LET ME OUT NOW! I'M A ADULT AND I SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOOSE WHERE I STAY" George yells as he sits up. "Okay. If that's what you really want then let me finish up this paperwork." The doctor says in a stupid tone.
"Thank you." George says in a not caring tone as the doctor dismisses him. His home was only a 5 minute walk from the hospital so he decided it'd be a good idea to walk. "What the hell is weighing me down." George says as he looks at his left arm. "Are you kidding me." George yells as he see's his arm was broke. "Maybe it wasn't the best idea to walk..." George says noticing he had sprained his leg. "Whatever walking it off is good." He says while limping to his house.
5 minutes later George arrives back at his house he so longed to be in. I'm so sick of the past few days. I'm going to bed.
George finally makes his way to his bed very slowly as he gets under his covers. He was literally on top of me...what the fuck...Why did he laugh. Did I really blush...? Why would I have blushed though...I'm straight. Right...? Okay but even if I wasn't why the fuck would I ever fall for him. All he does is try to ruin my life. I literally would rather die then ever date him. That's just disgusting.
"It'd be nice to have someone with me right now. SHIT! The project goddamnit. Maybe I should call Clay. I mean I can't get a 0..." George says knowing he really doesn't want Clay over but knowing if he gets a 0 on the project he wont be able to pass the class.
George: Hey Clay can you come over we need to work on this project.

Clay: George your alive??
George: ...Uhm...yeah...?
Clay: Thank god...
George: Tf do you care
Clay: Because we have to get this project done. If we didn't have a project then I would've hoped you died.
George: Mmmm okay.
Clay: I kinda needed somewhere to go anyways so yeah I'm on my way.

*Clays pov*
"I...god this is going to mentally fuck me up. At least she can't hurt me anymore..." Clay says as he leaves the gas station he was staying at and heads to Georges house.
"Welp..." Clay says as he knocks on the door. "Doors unlocked!" Clay hears coming from far into the house. "Mk" Clay says to himself as he opens the door and walks to Georges bedroom
"Where tf is your shirt George??" Clay says in shock as he looks at Georges body all cut up. "Doctors told me it was best to not wear a shirt. Just stop looking at my body creep." George says as he watches Clays eyes scan his body.
"Sorry...I've just never seen you with your shirt off and especially with all the cuts and bruises." Clay says as he turns his eyes off Georges body. "Mhm well just go sit at the desk over there and I'll head over there too" George says without looking at Clay.
"Are you sure you can get over here yourself? I can carry you if you'd like." Clay says with a slight smile on his face. "What the fuck? No absolutely not." George says in disgust. "Jez fine." Clay says as he rolls his eyes and sits at the desk.
George stumbles over to the desk as his leg gives out and he falls into Clay. Clay catches him as he falls. "Dude what the hell. I literally offered to help you." Clay says as he brings the seat to George signaling him to sit down. "Thanks I guess." George says as he reaches for the same pencil Clay was reaching for.
Clays hand lands on top of Georges as they both reach for the pencil. George lets of a slight blush not looking at Clay as he knows he's blushing and doesn't want to be noticed. "Oh..." Clay says as he keeps his hand on Georges. "Get your hand off! This is my house so I have the right to choose whichever one I want." George says as he throws Clays hand off.
"Jesus dude do you ever stop blushing??" Clay says as he looks at Georges cheeks letting off a slight red shade. "I'm not blushing. It's just my natural face." George says even knowing he's lying. Clay just shakes his head looking away from George as he continues the work.
"I...I'm getting tired Clay..." George says as he yawns. "Dude stop yawing your making me tired, and plus we've only been working for 5 minutes." Clay says as he sets his pencil down. "C-Can...you take me to bed..." George says not really noticing what he's saying. "I...uh sure..." Clay says in slight confusion to the change in mood.
Clay slowly picks George up and brings him to the bed. "Here...well since your going to bed I might as well head home. Wait...fuck I forgot I can't go home. Shit" Clay says as he remembers what the cops had told him. "Just spend the night..." George says as he slowly closes his eyes. "You can just lay in my bed. We have plenty of room." George says letting off a slight grin.
"Oh...uh...okay then." Clay says as he looks over to the left side of the bed. Clay slowly lifts up the covers of the opposite side. Clay stays as far away from George as he can as he turns with his back facing Georges back. "Goodnight Clay..." George says as he finally dozes off. "Goodnight George...?" Clay is a little confused on the situation but where else was he going to stay.
Clay couldn't sleep for a good 2 hours while George peacefully slept next to him. Next thing he knew he felt something wrap around his side. "What the fu-"

I'm still writing the entirety of Volume 2. WARNINGS:-Yes, this contains LitRPG elements after a slow start, promise.-This work is incredibly Slice-of-Life heavy-Also conversation heavy-Also plot heavy (But not in that way, unfortunately)-The pacing in terms of plot is slow -(Edit after a review)- This story is also known as: I honestly don't understand what's the difference between "light" and "dark" stories. I realized that far too late, so this story is... weird. It might be light at times, and dark at times, and in all honesty, definitely has dark undertones. Oh, and prepare to be disappointed or pleased by this story; I understand that this story is polarizing, at least. Cover made by: Fei (@Chippy03966650) / Twitter
