"Georgieee~" Dream cooed into George's ear while he slept. "Mmm...what Dream" George groaned as he slowly woke up. "We have to get up, remember we have work today" Dream reminded George. "Oh, right yeah" George said opening his eyes. "Remember I used to hate you" George chuckled sitting up out of the bed. "God you were a dick to me" Dream laughed back. "I don't even remember the rumor you spread about me" George said to Dream. "Oh I said you took a poopie under the slide" Dream wheezed. "Are you being serious right now?!?! That's what ruined everything?? I didn't even do that!!" George said slightly mad. "Gogy calm downnn, I'm joking! I put makeup on before school one day that looked like bruises and all and said you beat me up and that you stole my old friend" Dream said picking up his clothes for the day. "What. We were in first grade and you- okay that doesn't even seem like a big deal. God how did that escalate so far??" George asked annoyed. "I don't know love" Dream chuckled
The two continued to get ready for the day as they both threw on a nice pair of jeans and a short sleeve shirt, they brushed there teeth and there hair, and got breakfast, and slid there shoes on. "You ready?" Dream asked grabbing the keys. "I can't wait to see snow!!" George jumped up and down as he nodded his head ready to leave. "God you really do love that dog don't you?" Dream chuckled opening the door. George could only nod his head in excitement as he sprinted out of the car
After some driving they finally arrived at the animal shelter. "Okay let's g- GEORGE WAIT!!' Dream yelled as George jumped out of the car. "Oh my god" Dream muttered. "George, Dream! Hey guys!! Ready for your first day?" Mila said happily as the two entered the shelter. "I'm ready!!!" George jumped excitedly. Dream laughed as he nodded at Mila. "Okay so George I was gonna give you something fun for today...wanna work with Snow?" Mila said chuckling at the end. "OMG YES PLEASE!!" George couldn't even hold in his excitement, he absolutely loved this dog

Dream and George made there way to the back as George stopped at Snow's cage. "Okay George, you have a list of things to do with Snow today. First you need to feed her and give her water, let her rest after eating for about 30 minutes then you can take her on a nice walk through the back here. Once your back put her in her little house and at about 3:30 you can bring her out to her yard to relax for the rest of the day. Dream you can come with me for the day, I need to discuss a few things" Mila said smiling at the two
After 5 minutes of talking, George stayed with Snow as Mila and Dream went to a back trail to talk. "Okay Snow bear!! Let's see, you need...half a cup of the...dog kibble over here, okay...then you need 1/4 of a can of wet food with that...so mix dry kibble and wet food together and add 3 tablespoons of water after and mix that as well...hm okay!!" George said excitedly as Snow sat there knowing it was time for her first meal of the day. George went to the room where the dog's food was prepared. He grabbed a measuring cup and scooped half a cup of kibble and poured it into a mixing bowl. He then popped open a can of wet food and scooped out 1/4 of it and put it in the bowl. He mixed it all for about 20 seconds before adding in the 3 tablespoons of water. He mixed that for 30 seconds. "All done!! This is some top food Snow's getting" George smiled while he poured Snow's food into her bowl. "Okay here you go Snow!" George said happily as he laid the bowl in front of her. "Oh yeah water" George remembered as he watched Snow eat. George grabbed her water bowl as he went to fill it up. "Hm where is the wate- ooo Snow get's filtered water? Aww that's so nice" George smiled as he filled the bowl up. Once he set down the water bowl next to snow he sat down in her cage and waited there with her

"Okay Dream, I see George has a huge liking to snow" Mila chuckled. "Oh yeah for sure, he was so excited to see her this morning" Dream smiled. "Snow has never gotten along with someone like she has with George. We've been trying to find her a home for years now...have you ever considered adopting her?" Mila asked nervously. "Oh wow uhm...well I've thought about it, I just don't really know all that on caring for dog's in all" Dream said nicely. "Right right I understand that, well George is learning all about her right now so the caring part wouldn't be a big deal as I think George wouldn't mind doing that" Mila chuckled. "Yes that is true, so uhm when do you think would be a good time? If we adopted her of course" Dream said thinking about it. "Well whatever time is good for you" Mila smiled. "Right...oh right George's birthday is tomorrow- TOMORROW OH MY GOD-" Dream realized jumping out of his seat. "Oh wow that's awesome!! So sometime tomorrow?" Mila asked. "Yeah that'd be really nice" Dream smiled calming down. "Can I go see George?" Dream asked Mila. She nodded in response as Dream turned around to walk out
"Oh wait...Dream..." Mila said in a serious tone. "Yeah what's up?" Dream asked turning around for a quick second
"I know what you and George did, you can't hide forever"

Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
