《Spencer Reid Imagines ✔️》Coffee Shop

I stand in line waiting to order my drink. There's a lot of options to choose from but I think i'm just going to go with a regular cup of coffee and maybe a donut. I walk up to the cashier and order a tall cup of coffee with a chocolate spinkled donut. I give her my name and pay, taking a seat at a nearby table to wait. I get out my book and papers for work, getting started on the case that SSA Hotchner with the FBI just sent me. I just got the new job yesterday and I wasn't told to come in until later today. I figure I would get started on looking over the case file though. I am about to get my phone out to take a picture of something when I hear my name being called from the counter. I stand up and stride towards the barista, gently taking the burning hot cup of coffee out of his hands and thanking him.
I carefully walk back to my seat after I pour sugar and creamer into the paper cup that is practically melting my hands off. I set it down on the metal table. Glancing back at my computer I see Hotch has told me not to come in until tomorrow in an email. Alright. Then, I will finish up this work and take a load off.
I'm about to shut my computer and read my book when I look up to see a tall, lean man sitting in a chair across the room from me. He is really cute. His hair is all messy and he's got on a white collared shirt with a purple sweater over it. He has his glasses on and he's taking a picture of something in his book that he's reading. I smile, accidentally catching myself not being able to take my eyes off of him. I rest my head on my hand and sigh a little before realizing that he has set his book down and is watching me. I quickly avert my eyes from his figure and open my novel to a random page, pretending to be very interested.
The young man stands up and brushes himself off before coming to my table and pulling out the chair. He sits down and gazes at me before cracking a smile. I pull my face out from behind my book and see him chuckling softly at my actions. He must have a girlfriend. There's no way he doesn't. He is the most beautiful man i've ever seen.

"How's the book?" He asks me as I search for what to do next.
"Um, it's pretty good if so do say so myself. Have you read it?" I ask the curly brunette.
"Yes, but I read it from the beginning and my book wasn't upside down whilst I read." He points out the book in my hands, nodding towards it with his head.
I glance down to see that my book is in fact upside down and on a page I haven't even read yet. That's embarrassing.
"Yeah, well, I was practicing reading upside down to see if I could do it. It's one of my many hidden talents. Do you have any hidden talents?" I ask him leaning forward, shutting my book and placing it to the side of me in the process.
"I don't have many talents, im pretty good at magic though." He smiles, moving a piece of his tangly hair out of his eyes.
"Okay, so, you clearly saw me staring at you. I will introduce myself now. I am (Y/N) (L/N), it's nice to meet you." I hold out my hand.
"Hi, i'm Dr. Spencer Reid. I don't really shake hands i'm sorry." He apologizes gazing into my eyes.
"Doctor?" I ask, not worried about the hand shaking thing.
"I have three PhD's" He says proudly, taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes a little.
"Huh. That's pretty cool."
"So, why were you staring at me in the first place?" He moves closer to me leaning his chin on the top of his knuckles, intrigued.
I struggle to find the words to explain to him that its only the fact that I think he's the most gorgeous man i've ever seen in all of my years on earth. I become flustered and pick up my coffee, going to take a sip of it to stall and give me time to think of what to say. I'm so stressed out though that I accidentally spill it all over me.
Spencer immediately jumps up from his seat coming over to help me. He runs and grabs a bunch of napkins out of the dispenser that's next to all of the other items you put in your coffee and the stirring sticks. I stand up and walk around the table to him, his hand comes to my stomach with the napkins, starting to wipe off the hot liquid. I get butterflies in my stomach by the feeling of his touch. What am I even talking about? I just met this man. But he's so amazing. So far i've found out that he is smart, funny, kind and absolutely good looking.

"Is that better? Are you okay? I can order you another coffee if you want." He worries even though he didn't do anything wrong.
"Hey, hey. Stop, it's okay thank you for helping me. I don't know what happened." I smile touching his cheek with my hand.
I sit back down checking my email while Spencer buys me a new coffee which I couldn't refuse anymore. He just wouldn't take no for an answer. He finally returns with the new coffee cup in his hand, walking over and placing it down to the right of me.
"Okay well, don't spill that one. I have to go but maybe we will see each other again." He smiles, walking towards the door.
I wasn't about to let this man go without kissing him. I stand up from my seat and run at the door. I turn him around and place a warm kiss on his lips which makes me feel all fuzzy and cozy inside. It feels like i'm safe and will never be sad again. He comforts me in his embrace before speaking.
"I have to go (Y/N). That was nice. Enjoy your coffee. Maybe we will meet again very soon." He chuckles as he strides out of the little shop and back to his car.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today is my first day on the job, in person at the B.A.U.. I step into the elevator, making my way to floor six. I step out and am greeted by a loud lady with a lot of emotions and happiness. Her name is Penelope Garcia and she says she is so excited for me to meet the rest of the team. I walk into the office and see a lot of desks. Hotch is coming out of his office and as he sees me he smiles.
"Hi, (Y/N). Would you both join us in the round table room so we can get started and so you can meet everyone else." He says motioning for us to follow him.
Once I get in the room, I see an older man who looks italian sitting at the table, a black haired lady who looks like she's reading something. There is a blonde woman smiling at me and Hotch and Penelope enter as I sit down.
"Alright we are just waiting on Reid and then we can get started." Hotch explains.
Reid. Reid. Where have I heard that name before? I know I know it from someplace. Just as I am trying to recall where I know the name from a young, tall, very attractive man walks though the door. Spencer Reid. When he sees me, a sly grin forms on his face.
"Okay, lets start today by introducing our newest agent SSA (L/N). Everyone, introduce yourself." Hotch explains waving his hand at me so everyone can see me. After this I got a series of hand shakes and responses.
"Hi, Emily Prentiss, it's great to have you."
"David Rossi, it's good to meet you (Y/N). Ive heard great things about you." The italian man gives me a hand shake.
"SSA Jenifer Jareau. I'm excited to have you on the team."
Finally I get to Spencer. He walks up to me still smiling whe he sees me.
"Hi, i'm Dr. Spencer Reid. I believe we've met before." He laughs a huge grin plastered on his face.
"I don't think so? At I supposed to know you from somewhere? But seriously did you know about me joining the team the moment we first met?" I ask being sarcastic which earns me an eye roll and a laugh.
"Kinda. It was just fun to watch you not know who I was. The look on your face when I walked in was priceless (Y/N)." He starts laughing.
"Let's get started on the case." Hotch starts asking Garcia to bring up the images.
Reid kicks my leg under the table, signaling for me to come closer to him so he can whisper something to me. I oblige. He leans really close to my ear.
"You are going to make it very difficult for me to do my job SSA (Y/N) (L/N)." He whispers and immediately looks back to Hotch.
You are going to make my job hard too Dr. Spencer Reid.
A Fractal Divide
Lesivar is a city in ascendancy. With recent innovations in magical crafting, the common people are experiencing a boom in comfort and wealth. The nobility, long used to being the stewards of knowledge and power, struggle to adapt to the new world in which they find themselves. A precarious balance has been maintained throughout, but forces stir beneath the surface threatening to send the city spiraling into chaos. This is my first attempt at writing anything longer than a short story, and I welcome any feedback or corrections. I'm posting this as I write, with each chapter going live upon completion. My current pace is about a chapter a day, which I expect to take my through the end of November. From there, I'm shooting for a chapter every two-three days until the book is completed, along with an editing pass of what is already up. I'm planning on three POV characters with unique insight into the story as it unfolds. Each chapter will contain only one POV. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
Digital Demons
Dispite how it sounds, activating the device that melted her brain was probably the best thing that ever happened to Blade, a former member of the slum districts. Though the process was extreme, instead of endless nothing or eternal suffering our heroine finds that her death was just a nessisary part of the digitization of her brain. Now she has joined the millions of rich and powerful who gave up their lives for a second chance in the fully imersive game world of Templa. Not one to be detered by a challange (or her death), Blade chooses to start in the unforgiving Demon Lands. This is known to be the hardest starting zone in all of Templa, but those who make it through are some of the best players in the game. Does Blade have what it takes? Chapters are always 2000+ words with no relese schedual at the moment. Thanks for reading! -------------------------------------------------- Droped due to poor quality.
Code Reader Kagami (LitRPG)
Sometimes things happen in this world that we are not in control of. Sometimes we are to a certain degree, and sometimes we are completely in control. However, this is a tale that constantly questions those boundaries. The story follows Kagami, a young programmer, as he winds up in a world almost alien to him. If it were up to him, he would have never visited this world and would rather stay raising his young daughter. Was it through his own actions that he had wound up here? Was it due to several combinations of factors? Or was it something he completely chose. These are questions that constantly haunt Kagami’s mind as he wanders this world and ponders his actions. Unfortunately, the glaring truth of it all refuses to ever look him in the eyes. Each night as he looks up at the night sky, he wonders if the end of this would turn out like the game he made. A tale of Guts and Glory… or would it turn out like he fears, a tale of blood and tears. Regardless of how it turns out, he will one day unveil the truth enshrouding it all. And perhaps in doing so, unveil the fate of his old world, enshrouded by mystery. ___________________________________________________________________________ While this is a typical Isekai started by the infamous truck-kun, the story is most definitely not what is to be taken at face value. I love making tragic twists into these types of stories. For Code Reader Kagami, you'll begin to see a descent into psychological madness. As your hero changes entirely from the moral man he initially was. If you're not a fan of dark aspect stories, this one is not for you. Thank you~
