《Spencer Reid Imagines ✔️》Silly Boy

Shopping with Spencer is like shopping for a college professor who wears the same outfit everyday but in different colors and patterns. All Spencer ever wears is tan slacks, a button down shirt with a tie and his cardigan over it. He will wear a sweater vest too. So when we shop together, picking things out for him is so easy.
"Do you like this one?" I hold up a blue t-shirt, similar looking to something Morgan would wear.
"Hmm, that's not really my style (Y/N), how about this one?" He slips a green turtle neck off the hanger and lifts it up in front of himself.
"A turtle neck Spence? Really? I don't know, you can try it on though." I shuffle over to him after hanging the blue shirt back up.
He puts it back on the rack and brings his hands to my waist. I look up at him, startled by his actions.
"Let's go shopping for you now, I wear the same things all the time anyways so it's alright." The sweetness in his voice makes me smile.
"Are you sure? You don't want to keep looking?" My hand finds his face and I brush pieces of his curly hair out of his eyes.
"Yeah (Y/N), i'm sure, let's go." He clutches my hand in his and we walk through the mall.
The mall isn't really Spencer's type of setting but when he goes with me he seems a lot less nervous. We walk past groups of people and Spencer moves out of the way for them, his hips touching mine, he slides his body away from all of the thankful people. He does that thing where he raises his hand and nods, saying excuse me to all of the couples and families we glide past. His politeness is one of the qualities I have always loved about him.
We reach two different stores. One of them is a vintage thrift shop. The other a professional clothing shop. I can see Spencer peering into the thrift store. I squeeze his hand, catching his attention. Looking down at me he has a gentle smile on his face and his eyes light up when he sees me.

"Have you ever thrifted before, Spence?" My eyes glisten in the fluorescent lights of the mall.
"No, but that place looks really intriguing. Can we go in?" He pleads with puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah we can, only if you promise to buy something new for you. Something new Spence, not a cardigan or sweater vest. Okay?" I clasp my hands together, scrunching my shoulders together whilst looking down but my eyes still angled up towards his face waiting for a response.
"Fine. I promise. Now, can we go in?" He smiles and takes my hand again.
I drag him into the store and the ladies at the front desk greet us upon our entrance. Spencer's eyes scan the place and a huge smile is plastered on his beautiful face. I jump a small bit, giddy to start pushing through the racks of clothes.
I skip away from him, finding the (your shirt size) rack and glazing over all the different fun shirts placed on it. Before I can pick anything up, a young man wearing ridiculous looking yellow gloves comes over to me. Spencer begins to do the Madonna Vogue moves with his hands in front of his face. I laugh at him and he smiles at me. I tell him to go put them back and that they are ridiculous. He giggles and trots back off to the clothes he was browsing before. I swipe through some more clothes and pick up a green striped shirt.
The sound of laughter ensues behind me and I swing around to be met by Spencer wearing a crazy hat he found. I knew he wouldn't be able to take it seriously in here. He's Dr. Spencer Reid after all. I cackle at the man and double over in laughter.
"Oh my gosh Reid you're such a silly boy." I smile at him.
"Yeah, but i'm your silly boy. And you love me." He brings himself closer to me, taking the hat off and putting his hands on my cheeks.

I lean up an connect my lips to his plush ones. Kissing Spencer is a feeling like no other. He makes me feel so warm and secure. I feel his hand come down to the small of my back, making my back arch forwards coming closer to him. He smiles into the kiss and lingers for a minute, brushing our lips together before lowering his forehead onto mine. I stare into his gleaming chocolate eyes.
"So are you buying that?" I laugh, gesturing to the hat.
"I just might. Unless you want me to buy those gloves." He raised his eyebrows and grinned.
"I think i'll stick with the hat, even though it's strange, you can pull it off. You really are adorable Spence." I hold eye contact with the man who's cheeks are now a crismon red.
"I love you (Y/N), you know that right?" He doesn't smile he just holds a very serious but gentle facial expression.
"You've only told me like ten times today." I laugh and snuggle my head into the crook of his neck.
His hand comes to my hair and he starts to caress it, his fingers getting caught in the stray pieces of tangles. I close my eyes, feeling content. The peaceful moment is broken by the ladies at the counter awing and cooing whilst staring at us. I glance over fluttering my eyes open. I laugh nervously and shake my head at them.
"That is the kind of young love that I miss Miriam. You remember those days?" The older lady said turning towards her colleague.
"Yeah Betty, I remember. Oh to be in love and not care what others think of you. I miss those times. Now we are just old and drink wine while our husbands watch TV." I laugh at her remark.
I glance over at Spencer who is rubbing his hand on the back of his neck. He's obviously embarrassed but it's quite honestly so cute. I lean up and plant a kiss on his cheek, causing the man to blush some more. I grab his hand and guide him towards the counter.
"We will take this hat and I am going to buy this shirt please!" I go for my wallet but Spencer stops me.
"Don't you dare try to pay, im buying it. Here you go, keep the change please!" He gives the ladies 30 dollars when the purchase is only supposed to be 17 dollars in total.
I smile towards the ladies at the counter and they give me a look saying 'you're pretty lucky'. I know I am. I'm very very lucky to have found Spencer Reid and have him in my life. How did I even manage to do that?
"How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?" He says as if he just read my thoughts exactly.
"I was just thinking the same thing. I love you, crazy genius." I swing my arms around his neck and tilt my head back, taking in all of the handsome gentleman that stands before me.
"I love you so much it hurts (Y/N)." He places the hat on his head and smiles.
"I don't know how Hotch is gonna feel about that if you wear it to work. Let alone Morgan, you know you'll be teased right 'Pretty Boy'?" I say mocking Derek.
"I know I will, but it will be worth it to see a smile on your face." He links his arm with mine and we walk out of the shop, feeling content.
