《The Love That Define Us {Completed}》''When you are ready...''

Is there anything cuter than a person, you have feelings for, is sleeping while holding a book? She was sleeping in a sitting position, while the book rested in her hands.
God that book! I smiled at my thought. I wish, I knew braille.
I lifted her hand and removed the book, and gently placed her head on a pillow, tucking her into a warm blanket.
As I was leaving, she held my hand while deeply asleep. Again I repeat! Is there anything that is cuter than her?
"I don't know, dad, that I and Diya could attend the lunch, maybe next time?" I spoke on the phone while pouring a cup of black coffee for myself.
"Beta, we didn't ask you or raised any questions on your marriage, we gave you so many days, that you will eventually come and meet us. But you didn't. I wouldn't hear anything else, no excuses, nothing, you are coming and that's final!" He disconnected the call.
I fidgeted my phone anxiously thinking about today's appointment with Tara.
"Cancel the appointment, Anuraag." I turned around as she spoke.
"But—
"No, if and no but, family is more important, and I think this the time we should meet your family. They have been so patient with us.'' She was staring blankly in another direction.
"Okay then, we are going.'' I ran my fingers through my hair. I felt nervous even thinking about the family reunion.
__________
I grabbed my watch along with my phone from the closet drawer. I noticed Diya struggling was to style her hair. ''Do need help with your hair?'' I asked.
''Do you know how to braid?'' she asked in pure surprise.
"What can I say? perks of growing up with two sisters.'' I chuckle.

She smiled, lowering her head down, resting her hands in her lap, and allowing me to help her. Her hair had a sweet fragrance, as warm and smooth as sandalwood. I looked at her reflection in the mirror—I realized that I was bewitched by her beauty when I first saw her but didn't know that I would fell for her, ''head over heels''. She wasn't like any other girl, I have met. She didn't need any makeup to enhance her beauty, As she was already so beautiful.
Will I ever get tired of looking and glancing at her? NO.
Something tells me that we were meant to be together, even in the most tragic way.
I want her more than a friend, I want her to be mine... But she doesn't want me as hers...I will wait...even it meant to be forever.
''Thank you, Anuraag.'' she stood up from her chair.
''Let's go, shall we?'' She nodded and started to unfold her cane. ''Don't. Let me be your support for today.'' I said, stopping her from unfolding the cane.
''Here,'' I extended my arm towards her. She amused at my action. Her right hand held me by my arm. ''I hope my bangles her not--
''No NO No, it's totally fine.'' I smiled.
______________
''Bro, why are behaving like a lover boy around her? you have introduced her to the family. let her enjoy herself.'' Jai paused.
''I mean, I get it she is blind but wasn't she blind way before she met you. I can feel a little tension between mom and her but from mom's side. I don't know why mom is behaving like this, Anjali didi told me, mom said her something hurtful...and haven't apologized yet... I mean what going with mom. do yo--

''Will you take a break, motor mouth since I arrived here you keep babbling in my ear like god damn Fly.'' I interrupted him, as he wouldn't shut up for a moment.
''Sup, brothers. If you don't mind can I eat here.' Jiya waved her hand.
I rolled my eyes annoyingly. Great. Now I am surrounded by two most annoying people in the house. but thank god, for my rescue Anjali came to sit with us.
''Jai and Jiya, go sit with Ravi and Diya. I want to talk to Anuraag.'' Anjali pointed in the direction, Jai and Jiya exchanged gaze with each other and followed her order.
''So, how much do you know about Diya?'' Anjali spoke after they both left.
Her question caught me off-guard.'' Enough to agree to marry her?'' I couldn't believe i said that.
Anjali di shook her head in disbelief. ''Look, you are my baby brother, so here's the advice. don't say something stupid that you'd regret later okay?... I know you like her and I can see that in your eyes..... though and failing to understand that it's been more than two weeks. and you guys don't know anything about each other...You know even two stranger when meets they at least know each other's pet name. But you both have been living under the same roof, yet you don't know anything about each other.'' She said studying me.
''So what should I do?''
''Spend time with her, take her out, visit some places, fill the void, with new and fresh memories. Open up to her, make her feel comfortable around you, know what she likes and what she don't. This way you will get a chance to know her better..and she will try to know you too.." Anjali looked in her direction.
"She is a keeper, Tia doesn't talk to new people, but Diya has a different effect on her, even grandpa likes her...don't lose her, okay?"
My gazed followed Anjali's.
Diya was laughing with Tia at something, while Tia sat on her lap. Her smile was contagious, and she had that charm to make people around her happy.
"Never, I would never lose her." I murmured, softly.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
