1 year later

"Thomas leave your sister alone" I called out across the living room, watching the twins run around the coffee table at great speeds, it was only time before one of them slipped.

The time had been tough since Toni was on tour, she had been gone a month now, she had popped in one day when she was performing close by but even that was difficult, I knew she still had some weeks to go. Veronica, who had stayed behind this time because of family matters had tried to keep me updated on Toni when I was unable to contact her. I knew she missed her being around too. So did the kids. I loved that she was off doing what she loved but God when she was gone and I was left alone with the kids it could be a struggle sometimes. Thankfully both Veronica and Kevin help me out a lot.

I hear loud music playing from Daniels room and I walked through the house till I reached his door before bursting in. He was on his computer head banging to music that was playing. He was watching a live performance Toni did the other day as he always does. He liked to watch the live performance on his computer when he could.

"haven't you already watched that one like 3 times?" I asked with a little sigh, walking over and turning the volume down.

"hey no don't turn m-m-mum down!" he turned it back up even louder. That was something we had been getting through. Toni had been able to get Daniel to talk more and more but he had a stutter still though it was getting better.

"Daniel turn that down right now or I swear I will unplug it all" I warned him and he huffed in surrender, turning it down but still watching. I head back out to the lounge and flopped onto the large couch. I looked down at my left hand and ran my finger over the wedding ring that was on my finger.

Toni had proposed early this year and we had our wedding a few months ago. It was beautiful and perfect in all aspects.

I heard a loud knock at the door and jumped to my feet. I wasn't expecting anyone today? I had been having a lot of braver paparazzi someone get to the front door, especially since Toni left as she was the one who wasn't afraid to throw a punch. I got up from my seat and stormed down the hallway, reaching the door and threw it open.

"I swear if this is paparazzi again somehow getting to my-" I stopped amisdt my rant when my eyes fell on familiar pink hair and chocolate eyes. "t... Toni" I could hardly get her name out.

"sorry I needed help with the bags as my security are taking oth-" this time I cut her off when I practically lept at her and wrapped my arms around her shoulders and holding her tight as if, if I let go she would dissappear again. She dropped her bags and wrapped her arms around my waist.

" hey... Baby I got you... I got you" her voice was hushed and she pressed a light kiss to my cheek. I finally let her out my grasp and stepped back

"let's get those bags in shall we?"

I grabbed a large rucksack she had and brought it in the house and placing it to the side, knowing we could sort it out later, there were much more important things to do first. Toni walked in with her suitcase, bag and gyitar case and placed it down on the ground.

I shut the door and head further into the house "Daniel please come out of your room, someone important is here!" I called to him, knowing the other two kids would come rushing too. Daniel had always been the closest to Toni. I didn't have an issue with it, Toni loved all the kids and they all loved her but ever since they met, Toni and Daniel always had that special bond. I was a lot closer to the twins, I know people say you shouldn't have favourites and we don't, but we click better with some than others.

"mum I j-just got to the good bit I will come out in a b-b-bit!" Daniel called back. I heard Toni walk further into the house.

"oi come say hello to your mum you lil shit!" Toni called out in a playful voice. Yeah we had very different parenting styles, though it could be a nightmare sometimes. I wack her arm a little for the name but she just giggled. Daniel came darting out his room, almost stumbling as he did.

" m-mum!" he called out and ran full pelt into Toni. She had crouched to be on his level to embrace him.

"hey buddy, its good to see you!" she held him tightly and I now heard two other pairs of footsteps coming around the corner. Thomas and Amelia came around too.

"mum!" they called in unison and joined the hug.

"I t-thought you weren't meant to be back for like another month?" Daniel asked curiously. I was also a little curious about this though I wasn't complaining.

"some of the venues got cancelled so I decided I would take the spare time to fly back here, I only have a week or so but I will only have to return for two weeks" I was glad she wouldn't be gone for long. I missed her like crazy when she left.

The kids pulled away and let Toni stand again.

"mum I wanna show you w-what I've been working on, I learnt a new dong on t-the drums!" Daniel beamed grabbing Tonis hand firmly. As much as I'd love to take some time with Toni alone I knew the kids had missed her so much, I waited a month I could wait a few minutes longer.

"thats awesome mate, come on let's go to the music room so you can use the nicer drum kit" we had a whole room of instruments especially for when the band played here. Toni had bought Kylie a drumkit and kept it here so she and Daniel could also use it when possible.

I followed behind and sat to the side, I had heard him practicing over and over through the month, it drove me a little insane but it was sweet when he had first done it all the way through perfectly, he was so excited to show Toni.

Daniel took the drummer seat and Toni stood nearby, hands in her pockets.

He grabbed the sticks and took a deep breath before suddenly hitting the drums loudly. He had started to play unsainted' by slipknot and already pride grew in Tonis eyes. I hated him listening to Slipknot and tried to get Toni to veer him away from it but she adored them so she didn't listen.

He continued to play through the whole song until he finally reached the end and we both clapped.

"Daniel that was amazing! You learnt that all by yourself?!" she picked him up off the seat and spun him around before pulling him into a tight hug.

"I did! I p-put so much effort in" he grinned and Toni pulled back from the hug.

"well maybe you can play that for the band when you go to see them live with me and get to talk to all the members after in a week?!" she pulled out two tickets and my jaw dropped slightly. Oh she didn't just-

"oh my god! I'm going to meet corey and sid and criag and shaun and and and-"

"all of them, yes you're going to see them backstage, I met with corey after one of my concerts and I told him how much of a huge fan you were, he wanted to meet you" he took the tickets and gave Toni another huge hug

"I've gotta practice m-more!" he exclaimed

"yeah well you can practice in your room, me and mum need to have a chat" I spoke up and Toni Rose her brow slightly as she looked at me. She knew she was in trouble.

"o-OK!" he ran out of the room, leaving me and Toni there alone.

"babe... He's just 8, that's gonna be a intense concert, I've seen the videos, people get badly injured in there and-" Toni walked towards me smiling brightly, leaving me confused.

"babe I'm trying to talk to you about this i-" but she cuts me off with a kiss. As much as I want to stop her I give in to her seductive ways. Our lips moved passionately together, my hands roaming over her hips.

"I'm still mad at you" I mumble between kisses.

"I know" she teased and rushed over to the door and locked it. What was lucky abour the music room was it was soundproof so it wouldn't disturb the rest of the house when they were playing. This was often the place we did it when we needed privacy. It's hard when you're a parent OK?

I came up behind her and pressed kisses to her neck, pressing my lips further and further down.

"baby.." she whispered. I was just about to start on her shirt but I heard a loud knock on the door. I let out a groan and moved from Toni to leave the music room and head to the front door, Toni Close behind. I pulled the door open and was instantly met by a raven haired woman, in a stunning navy blue dress that clung to her. She was done up more than usual, extra makeup and hair perfectly curled.

"hey sorry to barge in but I heard Toni was back in town and I wondered if she was-" she cut off as her eyes fell on the smaller girl behind me.

"missing me already?" Toni asked in a teasing manner and Veronica ran past me and jumped into Toni's arms. I watched as Toni held her tightly in her arms, veronica not seeming to want to let go.

"I really did, I hate being without you" she mumbled and finally pulled back.

"well when we go back on tour, if your family buisness is finished you should come with us, the band missed you too" she gave her a playful wink and head over to her bags and pulled out a small box, returning over to her "I picked you up a little something whilst I was over at Paris, it instantly reminded me of you"

Veronica opened the box and I tried to peer inside. Inside was the most stunning pearl necklace I had seen and believe me I had seem a ton of beautiful jewellery, being a model. But with the necklace was a pair of pearl earrings that matched too.

"wow... Toni these are beautiful you shouldn't have, it's too much"

"hey nothings too much for my favourite manager ever" Veronica gave Toni a quick kiss on the cheek and closed the box.

"hey I will contact you as soon as possible but for now I will leave you two love birds to it"

Veronica head to the front door and waved as she left.

"that was a rather nice present" I spoke in a slightly questioning voice

"yeah well I wanted to surprise her, it's just a little present" Toni shrugged and pushed her messy pink locks out of her face.

"that's what you said about the drumkit you got for Kylie and we all know what that lead to" her head snapped to face me, anger flashing in her eyes for a moment.

"I thought we agreed not to talk about that anymore, especially when the kids are in the house" she muttered and grabbed a beer out the fridge.

"you're right, sorry that was rude of me" I came up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my chin on her shoulder as she downed half her beer. "why don't I grab the kids and we could all watch a movie together?" I suggested. We needed some family time.

"sounds great, you grab the kids, I will grab some food" she turned around and pressed a kiss to my lips.

"I love you toni" I whisper against her lips.

"I love you too"
