You wake up to Vi furiously shaking you. She looks excited, you raise up and see the sun hasnt even risen yet.

Y/n: It isn't even morning yet Vi go back to sleep.

V: Someone who know Drift is here!

You stand up furiously and put on your robe and mask. You walk outside and see a girl wearing a white rob with a light blue tint and a white fox mask. She takes off her mask and her lip pulls up in disgust.

C: Why is a member of the Oni Clan with you?

V: Hes my partner.

She looks you up and down and immediately back to Vi.

C: I was sent her to investigate Perfect Shadow and the next Rift Master. Any ideas on who the Rift Master might be?

Y/n: Um that would be me.

Her draw drops and she paces over to you. She touches you and a she steps back quickly.

C: So your telling the truth. Doesnt mean I'll trust you.

Y/n: Well you see were trying to get back to my master Fades cabin. Hes training me and I really need to get back to him.

Her eyes snap open and she throws a punch at you hitting you straight in the stomach. You double over and she knees you in the face.

C: Dont say that name around me! Fade is a evil piece of shit you hear me. Just like the whole Oni Clan.

Your eyes widen and you look down at the broken mask on the ground. A feeling of rage washes over you and a purple smoke surrounds you. The smoke forms into a new mask and you stand up. Catalyst backs away from you slowly and looks up. You look up to and see a large purple figure surround you. Vi hugs you and whispers in your ear.

V: Please calm down please.

You feel yourself begin to calm down and the purple smoke fades from around you. Vi kisses you and you kiss back. She stands up and points to you both.

V: If we want to stop Perfect Shadow we have to work together. Put aside the fights our ancestors had and work as one. Because right now if we dont stop Perfect Shadow he will destroy everything.

C: I cant believe I'm saying this but she has a point.

Y/n: That is what I was trying to suggest than you punched me.

You stand up and rift everyone into the sky. You can see Fades cabin and you makes one more rift take you there. You teleport in fron of Fades cabin and Vi and Catalyst stand behind you.

Y/n: Fade you there?

Fade steps out of the cabin and looks at Catalyst. He breathes in slowly and slowly puts his sword away.

F: Another member of the Fox Clan.

C: Yes, do you have a problem with that?

F: You wear almost the exact same outfit as Drift do you know him.

C: Hes my dad of course I know him.

She bends down and ties her shoes. Fade paces back and forth and puts his mask back on.

C: Where have you been these past 20 years anyway?

F: Out in the woods by myself.

C: After nearly destroying reality?

You look at Fade in shock. He looks to the ground in shame and he lifts his mask.

F: I'm sorry for what I did. I was after nothing but power, blinded by my rage and idiocy.

C: Fine, but I have my eye on you. We have to worry about Perfect Shadow.

You walk into the cabin and lay your mask on the bed. You bury your head into your pillow and feel a sharp pain in your temple.

You scream out in pain and you feel a burning sensation in your chest. You feel yourself blacking out and Vi rushes into the cabin. Catalyst and Fade follow soon after.

F: Oh no...

V: What's wrong with him!?

F: Perfect Shadow put a seal on him.

You hear a voice in your head talking to you. Mocking you and taunting you.

Ps: Ahhh Its been forever since I've been in a body this powerful.

Y/n: What are you doing in my body get out!

Ps: Dont worry im just borrowing it. To wipe out that Vi and your master.

Y/n: No you wont!

Ps: Watch me.

You snap back to reality and you feel yourself get out of the bed. But your not making yourself move. Hes made you a passenger in your own body.

V: Whats wrong with his eye? Why's it all white?

F: Perfect Shadow has seized control of him!

You reach out to Vi and struggle to speak your own words.

Y/n: R-runnnn.

You feel yourself jerk forward and you punch Fade square in the jaw. He stumbles and rifts behind you and wraps his hands around your neck. Perfect Shadow rifts him off of you and grabs Catalyst by the throat throwing her to the ground. She withers in pain and claws at the ground wildly while Perfect Shadow makes you step on her Achilles Tendon.

A evil laugh escapes your body and you feel a sharp pain in your shoulder and a shock. You crumble to the ground and feel his hold break from you. Vi rushes to both Catalysts and your aid. She examines her Achilles tendon carefully.

V: It's snapped in two.

Vi makes some makeshift crutches for Catalyst. Your body feels really weak and sore. Vi carefully removes the arrow from your shoulder and patches it up with a bandage. Fade walks back in the cabin and surveys the damage. Everything is in shambles and broken.

C: We need to get him to Drift.

F: How are we gonna do that?

C: With this.

She reaches into her travel bag and grabs a little jar. And inside of it is a tiny little rift.

C: It'll take us right back to Drift. Straight to Apollo.

V: Drift. I need to get to him. And he needs to get to Apollo.

C: Well than lets go. You coming Fade?

F: Yes.

Catalyst throws the rift on the ground and you feel yourself get pulled into the rift. And as you get pulled through you sense a massive power. The bright light of the rift subsides and you find yourself on a strange island. It crawls with life. Tall strange building are everywhere. A large amount of people. A whole new world compared to the forests your used to.

C: Well lets go to Drift!

You grab Vis hand and follow Catalyst into the unknown world.
