I froze and stood in front of Beam and Siri with my eyes open wide. I gulp and look at Beam with hesitation and doubts. I didn't expect this but before the words sink into my mind I heard Beam's pained sigh. My eyes snap to his face immediately and curse myself when I saw pain and regrets in his eyes. Damn!

My heart clench painfully when his eyes turn cold and turn his back from me. He crouch down in front of a confused Siri who is looking at us back and forth and down to the cake his holding. I saw Beam stick his finger on the icing and put it on Siri's face causing the kids giggle bloom in the house.

I clenched my fist at Beam's croaked voice and Siri beamed, forgetting the fact that I didn't answer them. Beam put back the box of ring inside his pocket and carry Siri and put him on the chair and give him a plastic knife to let him cut the cake. The kid clap happily as he did it on his own.

I jolt up when I feel a small tug on my pants and look down as Siri look up to me with a smile while holding a plate of sliced cake. I swallow a lump in my throat and crouch down in front of him lifting him to my arms.

I asked softly as I open my mouth and he giggles. He cut a piece cake with his bare hands and put it inside my mouth. I take it and chewed on it as his eyes is looking at me with awe. I peck his nose lightly and wink at him.

I say in satisfied tone and he claps while wiggling and I slowly put him down. My eyes lock on Beam that is looking at us with a soft smile but sad eyes. I curse myself, I failed again. I manage to hurt his feeling again. You're such an idiot Forth !

He say with an apologetic smile. My brows furrowed. What's he's apologetic for? It should be me who is ashamed of my actions earlier apologise to him .

The night filled with laughter and giggles from both person that is taking a very big part of my heart. When Siri yawned Beam carried him to his own room. I followed him, carrying Siri's things with me. I saw him lay down the now asleep kid on the bed and remove his shoes and socks. He look back to me and motion me to give him Siri's bag. I slowly walk towards him and place the bag at the edge of the bed. He opened it and look for something while biting his lips which makes him so damn adorable.

Picking up a pair of pajamas he put it on Siri's side and goes to the bathroom and come back later with a basin of water and a clean cloth. Still concentrating on his task and oblivious to my presence he moves toward the bed and put the basin on the table and the cloth. He turned to Siri's sleeping form and slowly undress the kid and wipe his body with now a wet cloth gently. His eyes is shining with love and his face is looking at Siri tenderly while his brows is slightly furrowed.

After cleaning the kid he tucked him in and bring back the basin back to the bathroom while humming to himself softly. I stayed still to where I am standing letting him mumbling on himself. I think he already forgot that I am still in the same room with them. When he walk out the bathroom and walk past me and go back to Siri's side I sighed deeply. He is sitting back facing me while he gently touching the kids face and whispers something I couldn't even hear.

Just as I thought he don't know that I am still inside the room he speak.

He paused and I gulped when he look back at me and lock his eyes to mine and smile faintly then he look down on his lap where he is playing with his fingers.

With long stride I closed the space between us and claimed his lips in a searing kiss. He gasp and I take the opportunity to slide my tongue inside his mouth, I feel his hand grip the sides of my shirt. I hold the back of his neck as I groanef into his mouth and deepen the kiss as his hands round around my neck. We both pant when the kiss ended and I give him small kisses on his face drying the tears that is running down his cheeks.
