it was a sunday, yoongi had nothing to do and he was therefore thinking a lot, and he hated that, he hated the fact that his thoughts always got the best of him, they never failed to haunt him
he sat on his couch, his eyes bloodshot from crying, he didn't know why he was crying, nothing was wrong in his life, maybe it was the loneliness which was eating him up
yoongi was asocial, someone who could not make friends very easily, even though namjoon was his close friend , they couldn't talk whenever they wanted to because both of them had a lot of responsibilities
it was at times like these when yoongi wished for a person who'd comfort him and make him feel at home but sadly there was no such person in yoongi's life
no , yoongi did not want a relationship in particular, he just wanted to be told that he is being listened to and that he is not alone
the doorbell bought yoongi out of his trance as he quickly wiped his tears and put on his poker face
he opened the door to reveal jimin
"what?" yoongi asked, his tone coming out colder than he had intended
"i'm so bored" jimin says as yoongi looks down and sighs
"jimin i need some time alone, we can hang out sometime else" yoongi said and slightly closed the door
he turned around and started walking to the couch when he felt two arms wrap around him from behind
he closed his eyes, the skin ship triggering his tears, he turned his neck back a little to see jimin back hugging him.
"hyung whatever is troubling you, it's gonna be fine hm? don't worry too much" jimin said in a soothing voice
he slowly turned yoongi around to face him, jimin smiled at the elder and engulfed him in another warm, tight hug but this time yoongi hugged back

the two stayed in the position for what seemed like an eternity when finally yoongi slowly pulled away
"feeling better?" jimin asked in a whisper as yoongi nodded and gave jimin a small smile
yoongi was so thankful that jimin didn't ask him what was wrong, because he didn't know the answer himself
"i know what will cheer you up!" jimin exclaimed all of a sudden as yoongi chuckled
"and what will that be mister?" yoongi asked in a bubbly tone as jimin flashed him a bright smile
"go wash your face first otherwise your eyes will get puffy" jimin says as yoongi nods and heads to the bathroom to wash his face
once done, he comes back to see jimin putting on his shoes
"let's go hyung" he says as yoongi follows him without asking anything
on the way there, yoongi and jimin talked about each other's hobbies, once reaching, yoongi looks up to see a small food stall
"street food!" jimin exclaimed as yoongi laughed
"hello sir! we will have two special noodles please" jimin said as the man smiled at him
and the food did cheer yoongi up, it made him so happy that he couldn't stop smiling, and no one had that effect on him except jimin
but yoongi was too oblivious to see that
"you're welcome" jimin grins as they walk back to their buliding
"yes thankyou jiminie" yoongi says as they both laugh their way back home
