I was on my way to school early today and although Ryder offered to bring me in I wanted to hang out with the girls so I came in with Amelie and Jane. Lately, mum had been leaving to work early and coming back quite late, something about a fashion event which had her really preoccupied so she just assumed that I was going to school with Dylan every day which I was yet to correct. I think it was safe to assume that Dylan was yet to tell mum anything but I knew that I shouldn't wait for too long, so tonight when I was back home I was going to tell her that it didn't work out between us. Based on her reaction I would decide as to if I would tell her about Ryder, although I wasn't that hopeful about that conversation being positive.

Amelie picked Jane first and then I and we had just gotten some coffee and were on our way to school. The girls were really excited to know how things were developing between me and Ryder so I took the drive to school as an opportunity to talk about how our relationship was progressing. I did not tell them about Ryder's past because I felt like it was too personal to share but I told them how he came over at night and stayed with me.

Amelie reacted exactly the way I expected with a lot of squeals of excitement but Jane seemed to be a little bit uncomfortable with how quick we were taking things. I was sitting in the front seat with Amelie driving and Jane behind me but I didn't miss her soft voice as she interrupted Amelie "Anna I know you really like him but it's only been a little while that you guys started dating. I dont think you should be going so full-on, I mean I would hate to see you hurt"

Amelie snorts in the front seat as she looks into the rearview mirror at Jane "What do you mean by full-on, they haven't even gone to second base, so no one's going fast, plus this is how it's meant to be when you start dating someone you tend to spend all your time with that person, and that's completely normal look at me and Bryan"

I glare at Amelie and turn around to face Jane smiling at her concern "I get what you're saying Jane, and I promise I won't take it fast, trust me when I tell you that I'm panicking as well, the last thing I want is to get hurt and Ryder takes time to trust people so I just want to do things right"

Jane smiles softly at me and looks down at her phone "Just promise me you'll be careful, the three of them are always getting into trouble"

I smile at her concern and when I turn around I see Amelie pulling up into the car park right next to Bryans's car and jumping out without saying a word to run into Bryans's arms. I shake my head in amusement and slowly step out of the car and watch them both hug.

My gaze falls on Ryder leaning against the hood ignoring them and just giving me one of those heated gazes. The way he was looking at me right now was making me blush because I could tell that he was thinking dirty thoughts. I smile shyly and slowly walk up to him, my heart pounding like crazy like it did every time I'm around him. He extends his hand out and I put my hand in his as he pulls me to him and kisses me. I swear every time he kisses me I melt into a puddle. He uses one hand to hold my head in place and the other one to gently clasp my waist as he slowly runs his tongue across the seam of my lips, he deepens the kiss and pushes his tongue into my mouth. I hear a puking sound and pull away from him to see Colton looking grossed out.

I smile at Colton and hug Ryder tightly. He hugs me and then holds me back by his arms and looks at what I'm wearing. "Why are your dresses always so short princess? I swear ever since we started dating I think they keep getting shorter, it almost like you want to kill me "he groans out.

I hit him playfully on the shoulder. I was wearing a short black ballerina dress today because Ryder had called me to tell me that he would be taking me out on a date after school.

I twirl for him and then smile as his jaw drops "This is definitely all for you, you said we would go on a date after school so I wanted to look nice for you"

I turn around to look for Jane but she was long gone, and I sigh, both I and Amelie were not being great friends to Jane. I make a mental note to speak to Amelie about how we need to plan a girl's night in with Jane. I can only imagine how annoyed she must be feeling at how boy crazy we were becoming.

Ryder snaps his fingers in front of my face "Are you with me Princess?" I smile at him and lean up to kiss him cheek. I look at Bryan and Amelie whispering to each other and clear my throat. "I think it's time to go to class, for once in my life I need to see you, boys, on time" Ryder intertwines our fingers and smiles at me "Your wish is my command princess" and we make our way to class.

The rest of the day goes by quickly. I saw Dylan and his friends who were ignoring me now which was much better than the snarky comments that Claire and her minions kept making whenever they could. But the rest of the school had accepted that Ryder and I were in a relationship so there were not that many stares when he walked me to class or sat with me for lunch.

Once school was over I was waiting for Ryder by the lockers where we had agreed to meet when a guy from my history class walks up to me. I try to remember his name as he came closer and thankfully I remembered it as Aiden. "Hey Aiden" I smile at him. Aiden was one of the cute boys in class, and he was always kind to everyone which made me fond of him. He was tall with black hair and although he had nothing on Ryder he was quite popular with the girls.

He smiled widely at me "Hey Anna I was hoping you would have a minute"

I smiled back at him "Yea sure" I watch as he takes out some notes and then he turns to me. "I was wondering if you could help with history, I'm lagging a bit behind and you seem to be good at this, maybe we could have a study session"

I nod my head "Yea sure, I'm happy to help, just let me know when you want to start yea?" Aiden smiles and looks behind me and his smile drops "K, Ill talk to you later, I have your number so I'll message you" Without waiting for my response, he quickly sprints off. I look back to see Ryder behind me an annoyed look on his face "What did that jerk want with my girl?" he grunts out a scowl marring his perfect features

I look at Ryder annoyed " Just study sessions on history"

Ryder almost growls out "No" I raise my eyebrow at him in surprise "No, what?"

Ryder pulls me into his arms and holds both my hands behind me with his hands so that our chests were touching now. I start blushing but I keep myself focussed on his response "No, you're not hanging out with him for lessons or anything"

I glare at Ryder "Stop being like this Ryder, I can make my own decisions, the way your acting makes me feel like if you could you would lock me up in a tower, its just study sessions, the boy needs help that's all"

Ryder releases me and glares at me again but he doesn't say a word and he grabs my hand and we walk to his car. I can see his jaw clenched and I know he's definitely not happy.

As we drive out of school I keep asking him questions but he does not answer them. I was super annoyed now and I look out the window and mutter out loud enough for him to hear "What a wonderful start to our first date" at which point I hear him sigh.

He pulls over and looks at me for a second and then he pulls me onto his lap. I crawl over the gear stick and sit on his lap. He pinches his nose with one hand and his other hand was holding me tight by the waist as he starts talking "Look, Anna...I dont mean to be this way, I just dont know how to deal with all these feelings, and ... and I dont like it when other boys come around you. I know you wouldn't do anything wrong, but I just dont want to take any risks"

I wrap my arms around his neck and I kiss his cheek softly "You are never going to lose me, just trust me a little will you yea and stop being so jealous, I'm never going to even look at another guy when I have you, you're all I need"

I watch as he smiles softly and then he leans down and kisses his way down my neck and around my collarbone setting my body on fire wherever his lips touch my skin. "Stop.." I whisper my eyes closed as I feel my entire body hum in response to him.

"I wish I didn't have to princess" he groans into my neck and then he firmly helps me move to the passenger seat. He smiles at me "God I want you so bad, but right now we have a date to look forward to" he smiles at me. I bite my lower lip and smile back at him "You still haven't told me where we're going" I pout at him waiting for his response.

"Nope" he pulls out and starts driving "It's a surprise princess''
