《Harriet Potter and the avengers》Chapter 2

Gringotts bank, recovery room.
6 days before her birthday and the letters she sends out to magical Britain.
Harriet woke up slowly, unaware of how long she had been out. She struggles to open her eyes, shifting slightly she feels her bones and muscles ache so bad a tear leaks from her eye. She mumbles incoherently. Hearing footsteps approaching her, finally able to get her eyes open she looks up at a male goblin holding a clipboard. She tries to speak but her throat was so dry and she struggled to sit up. Feeling the soft fabric of the gown she was wearing as it rubs against her skin.
Finally able to sit up, she smiles slightly at him. Though she was surprised she was suddenly able to see so well. Her glasses having been destroyed by her uncle months ago. Her hands fly to her face. No glasses. She could just see. She felt a giggle escape her, which only increased as she felt her magic properly for the first time it felt even better than people described. She looked down at her hand, her features on it changing as her emotion change.
He looks down at her, his lip twisted upward slightly as he looks at her, obviously happy to see her smile. "Hi, I'm Link. Ok it seems like your doing good, you were out for almost 24 hours but that's normal for the type of procedure you underwent. You should be feeling slight pains, aches and tiredness. We have some potions for that as well as some other potions for some issues we have become aware of. Nutrient potions, scarless potion, as well as the other potions. Is this alright with you?" he asked as he handed her a glass of water.
She chugged the water down and smiles at him as she nodded. Feeling slightly embarrassed but not as much as before. "Yeah that all sounds good to me, will I be alright to leave soon? I have some issues to go over with my bank manager." She says as he smiles slightly at her. He brought her some soup as he went over her potion plan for the next few months.
He then brings all her potions to her as she drank them all obediently. Making sure she understood the plan and where she can get her potions. "Is there any way for you to do my potions and send them to me, I could pay you." she asks. He smiles nodding. "yeah you can get a mail box. It doesn't just send parcels but all your letters. We will also ensure all your mail is directed through it and it is checked for anything harmful or unasked for. You will also be informed of anything and everything sent." He tells her smirking. She smiles nodding.

"That is perfect, I'll take it. Anything else you suggest I should get, I'm not well informed on these things as you can guess." She says to him. He smiles at her, "Well your bank manager is in charge of that, he made me your personal doctor for why you are here. I'm mainly a potioneer but we are friends. Trust me he will make sure you are more than equipped. Anything to piss Dumbledore off. I can come with you to your meeting with him if you want?" he says to her as she nods. He instructs her to rest for a bit first and she agrees. she fell asleep quickly.
5 Days before her Birthday.
A few hours later she woke up and he was there and helped her to get Bronze Guardian's office. She struggled slightly but managed alright with his help. Seeing Bronze Guardian she smiled slightly as Link helped her into the chair in front of the desk. "So I have your medical report here, you had a few issues but Link here has put you on a regimen?" he asks. At her nod he continues. "During the procedure we preformed a mandate on you to see all past injuries. I'm assuming you don't wish to be reminded of them?" he asks, obviously having read all of it. Though instead of the normal embarrassment she was used to feeling but she only felt sad. She just nodded again. He sighed, "Alright well if this ok with you I'd like to hold on with it, in case anyone has issues with you getting your titles." He spoke. "Yeah, that sounds good to me." She said as he nods accepting.
"Great now that's all good lets go through your banks before we go through your options and choices. As well as some other things to get. Do you still want the mailbox?" he asks her as he starts shuffling through some papers. She looks at Link as he nods at her. She looks back at Bronze and nods again. "Alright I just need to check all the banks you have access too. I need you to drop 3 drops of blood into this bowl." He says, sliding her a bowl with a purple liquid in it and a knife. She obediently cut her hand and let three drops drop into it and then pulled back and Link healed her hand as she smiled at him. Bronze pulled some parchment out and poured the liquid onto it. Words started appearing again, but it was different this time.

He smirked at it, expecting as much and again glad she was his client. He handed the sheet to her. She looked at it in shock knowing Bronze had said she had a lot of money but wasn't expecting this much. She passed the sheet to Link who checked it before handing it back to her. He gave her back her backpack putting that sheet in her bag as well her identification parchment. "Alright now we just need to go over your transactions. If anything isn't right, we can fix it and get your money back so don't worry to much. She nodded and took the papers he gave her, one for each vault.
Harriet smiled, it seemed after Sirius got his Lordship, he started giving her pocket money, just like he had joked. He had said if she ever wanted to leave everything, he'd left her the money to do so. She giggled putting it down afterwards. It's weird knowing he is also her 'father' now and not just her Godfather.
"Why are these shop's sending me money?" she asks confused as she puts the sheet down confused. Bronze smirked at her. "A past heir must have made a deal with them. It isn't too unusual." He said as he tries to help her not be concerned. She put it down and switched to the next one.
She didn't react as much to this, smiling though as realised it wasn't just her who loved quidditch, her whole family did. She finally felt more connected to them.
Harriet felt herself start crying again, she knew she should have expected this after seeing what happened on her DNA report. She sighed and tried to control herself from breaking down, already feeling so sad and broken down. Then she realised that Fred and George had been giving money to her, she was confused but happy but at least that they weren't involved. "Ummm I didn't approve any of these transactions, is it possible to get the money back?" she saw the two goblins smiling at her darkly and nodding, looking excited. "oh yes, indeed we can do that and stop them from taking anymore." Bronze said. "How did they take money in the first place?" she asks confused. "Well they have keys, would you like us to recall them?" Bronze asks, smirking and obviously happy. She nods excited. As she sees the notes her parents added she feels a sob leave her throat and whimpers a little. Link and Bronze looking at her sadly before she continued to the next page.
As she finished reading, she put them down. "Everything else looks right I think." She says smiling a little unsure if she missed anything. They nodded and Bronze refiled the work as she still felt slightly nervous. As he settled the documents to help her get her money back she let her emotions out again as she struggled to control herself. They were her first real family and she never expected this. Yeah Ron had gotten worse over the years but she had handled it. She whimpers slightly.
Bronze and Link looked at each other unsure what to do. "Ok, well now what to do? Would you like to get the money back now or wait until after your 17th birthday?" he asks her. She thinks for a few minutes. "Well I'd like all the money to be got back from Dumbledore as publicly as possible after my 17th. For the Weasley's I'd appreciate if you informed Arthur Weasley of this. Then if he took part take them for all they are worth. But if was unaware only go at Molly Weasley." She said to him, serious. He nodded, "You have a kind soul and I agree with this. You should rest though now. We can go over the rest of your choices tomorrow." He says as she yawns.
Link nodded in agreement and helped Harriet back up as they head to the medic ward. He settled her back into bed and smiles at her as he gives her potions and some more food. Afterwhich she fell straight to sleep.

Fateless: The Silver Lining
It has been ten years of peace for the Union since the end of the great war with the eastern barbarian tribes, yet in the cold north of the Union's land, a new threat is looming. This time, an ambitious Lord is seeking to restore the yore pride of his kin, forcing the weakened Union into yet another unwanted war, as he ramps up the ranks of his army with thieves, murderers and mercenaries.* * *The temperature inside the forge was nearly twice as high as the one outside. A black-haired girl hammered a steel ingot into the shape of a blade. The heat of the steam was draining her stamina away, but her focus remained sharp as her sweat streamed down her face. Hit after hit, for hours, the sound of the hammering steel followed the rhythm of her breathing. Exhausted, she placed the blade into the water and wiped the sweat off her face using a drenched rag. Why are they screaming? Vatra dipped the rag back in the water, twisted it, and approached the window. Her mouth opened as her world shattered again into the living nightmare she had wilfully tried to forget. She bit her lips; it wasn’t a dream. The pulse of her heart rose. A cold sweat prickled her back. A mother was running, and a child was screaming. A torrent of smoke was emerging from the roof of her neighbour. Vatra’s eyes blinked. The mother lay on the ground, a spear through her back. A torch circled in the air and landed on the roof of her workshop. In the distance, a man wearing a banner well known to the world… Fateless is a philosophical medieval dark low fantasy centered on war, militaristic campaigns and geopolitical conflicts between multiple empires. This story follows the fate of Vatra, a former slave from the eastern Nar Empire who was raised in a culture far away from her own, forced into warfare against her will, and the fate of Lanaya, an ambitious half-angel exiled from her home whose existence is seen as heresy. As they wished for peace, both chose a path opposed to one another until their fate crossed. In this story where war dictates the law, love strikes them as a poisoned balm to which they grasp for with all their might, as it is in the darkest of times that the smallest flames may burn the brightest. * * * Tome 1 already completed and available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Fateless-Silver-Hugo-Emmanuel-Simard-Wallot/dp/B09LGSH1KK Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hugo-Emmanuel-Simard-Wallot-100547579135891/ I will publish 1 chapter per week (sometimes 2 if the chapters are too short for my liking).
