the boy with the space socks
he sleeps on the floor
he hugs my arms and holds my cheeks
and picks daisies from my palms
he weaves skies around my fingers
makes me pretty rings
the sunflowers in his shoes
keep falling out, growing from his toes
his hair is in my mouth
and it tastes sweet
his legs are intertwined in mine
our limbs are knotted
he holds the shattered pieces of my heart
the constellations in his chest
are in me
i cannot get free
my cut up hands and weeping orchids
grow soft and fragile under his touch
the universe dances on his fingertips
the stars spill from his lips
and i want to trace the galaxies
hidden in his collarbones
count the stars even he can't see
the pretty boy

Adam is thrown into a new world with no choice and no instructions. At least he is a God, whatever that means... Lovely Royal Road readers: Imagine a tutorial with no instructions and no idea what the game was meant to be and what you are trying to achieve. All you know is that you are a God (whatever that means). So this is quite slow to start; mainly world building for me; a bit of base building by the MC and some good old minion development. I'm developing/practicing my writing and love the format of RR to get it out of my head. So hopefully it gets better with time as I get better. All feedback welcome - but please critique and tell me why you don't like it (if you don't) I'd rather a 1-star review than a 2-star(plus) rating!

It is mostly told from Aegis perspective however there are several times when a side character perspective of an event matters so I'll put it in. Btw the first volume is a bit spotty as I am a new writer and still trying to find my rhythm. I believe it picks up speed around chapter 13-16ish Release Schedule: 4 chapters a week Wed-Sat 7AM GMT -6 Chapter length between 2000-3500. I try to stay around 2500-3000 but somethings the chapter just doesnt have a good cut off. Not all tags will affect the first volume and more will be added as the world is expanded.
