I woke up the next morning to a pounding head ache. I sat up thinking I was in my room, I wasn't. I looked around and I was in Dan's room...how the hell had I ended up here?

I had my underwear on so I slipped on my joggers and top and went downstairs. I went into my room, brushed my hair and wiped off last night’s make-up. I wandered downstairs and into the kitchen to try and find something, anything that could take the pounding away that I was feeling in my head.

"Morning!" I heard Dan say all cheery

"Go away" I laugh at him and he passes me a glass of water and paracetamol.

"How's your head ?"

"Feels like I have giant elephant standing on it" I moan placing it on the breakfast bar.

"You did drink a lot last night"

"But so did you" I moan lifting my head to see Dan sat up on the counter drinking a cup of coffee.

"Yea, but I don't get hangovers " He grins

"I hate you sometimes’’ I smile ‘‘Err how did I end up in your bed last night?" I smile at him

"We had round three" He grins into his mug

"Shut up…no we never." I say shocked

"Not lying…you just couldn't get enough of me. We were on the sofa getting dressed and went up to bed, then the next thing I knew you were stripping off in my bedroom doorway."

"Shut up I didn't"

"You did" He laughs "So I locked my door and we carried on in my bed"

"But what about Luke and Evie" I say hiding my face, “What if they had heard us.”

"I don't think we cared and they were probably passed out the amount that we all drank"

“I hope so” I laugh “So where are they?”

“In bed, they came down to get some food then went back up.”

‘Well I think I’m gona make a fry up, might make me feel better. Then go and speak to Jayden”

“You think that’s a good idea ?”

“We need to end things properly and I need to get my stuff that I left at his”

“You want me to come with you?”

“You’re okay Dan, I’m a big girl. Plus he was right, I was seeing someone else when we were together. So I only have myself to blame for him cheating on me”

He didn’t say anything just looked at me and nodded. “I’m sorry”

“What have you got to be sorry for?”

“Because if we weren’t together then you would probably still have a boyfriend.”

“Well if I wasn’t such a slut and sleeping with you both then I probably still have a boyfriend as well”

“You are not a slut ” Dan says getting off the counter and hugging me.

“Well I feel like one”

“Why?” he asks stroking my cheek

“Just do, and even Amy thinks I am as well. She got that right.”

“Ignore what she has to say , you believe what I tell you right?”

“Yea why?”

“Then believe me when I say you are not a slut, slag or anything of the sort okay ”

I smile slightly and hug him tight, “Thanks Dan”

“Anytime baby girl”

I go and get myself ready after cooking me and Dan breakfast, leaving Luke and Evie’s plates in the oven for them to grab when they decided to get out of bed.

There was a slight knock on my door and Evie entered.

“Hey , thanks for breakfast” Evie smiles leaning on my doorframe in only Luke’s top, barely covering her bum.

“No problem” I smile

“Where you going?”

“Off to speak to Jayden” I smile tight lipped

“Why?”

“To finish things properly, he said he wanted to be friends and we got along well. I want to talk to him”

“Just be careful yea ” she says coming over and giving me a hug.

“Will do, what you doing today?”

“Me and Luke are off to see his parents”

“First time since you’ve officially been together?” I ask and she nods nervously.

“ you have nothing to be worried about you have met them hundreds of times before”

“Yea I know, but that was only as mates. Now it’s as Luke’s girlfriend.”

“They love you don’t worry” I smile hugging her again

“She’s right you know ” Luke smiles from my door way. “They do love you”

I saw the love radiate from my sisters smile at Luke, “Hey ” she smiled leaving me and hugging him.

“Come on we need to get ready” Luke smiles linking his fingers with Evie’s, kissing her forehead.

“Okay, txt me when you’ve been round okay. We’ll be back later”

“Will do , have fun” I smile and she shuts my door.

I sat on the end of my bed and lay back, covering my face with my arms. What was I actually doing with my life?

I didn’t have a boy friend but I was shagging my best friend. I have a job that I actually like doing for a change but I wasn’t getting anywhere with it. Now I was contemplating going to see Jayden, what was I going to gain by seeing him, closure? Thirty minutes later, I was still lay there. Thinking.

“We’re off now ,” I heard Luke shout

“Okay have fun, tell your parents I say hi”

“Will do…bye”

I heard the front door slam shut and footsteps up the stairs. I knew it was Dan.

He opened my door and I heard it shut and lock. I didn’t bother moving from my position, I just felt pressure either sides of my hips then someone sit on my waist, gently removing my arms from my face.

“Hey baby” Dan whispered

“Hi” I smiled looking deeply into his chocolate brown eyes.

“You okay ?” he asked concerned and I just nodded, trying not to cry.

“Liar...you forget. I’m your best friend. I can tell”

“Just shit going on really.” I smile as he pins my arms down beside my head.

“You want to talk about it?”

“No. Now kiss me” I smile and he does what he’s told.

“For now I will let you get your way...mainly because I’m horny but later we are having a proper best friend chat okay.”

“Okay” I sigh before he pushes his lips onto mine. Running his fingers up my top, lifting it over my head...
