I ended up walking to the park and over to our tree. I saw where Dan had cut our initials into the tree and the tears began to flow once more. I rubbed my finger over the markings before walking away, my heart aching. I just kept walking, not really paying much attention to where I was going. Before i knew it I was near Jayden’s flat. I still saw him from time to time, which was really nice. Wonder if he’s free?

*ring ring*

J: “Hey hun”

M: “Hey Jay, you free?”

J: Yea, just chilling in my flat, how come?”

M: “I’m outside, fancy coming to let me in?”

J: “Sure , I’ll be down now.”

M: “Okay see you in a min.”

I hung up the phone and walked round the corner to the doors, a couple of seconds later Jayden appeared letting me in.

As soon as he saw me he pulled me into a hug, “ what’s happened?”

I sighed and looked at him, my eyes brimming with tears. “Long story.”

“Well the kettle’s boiling as we speak, come on in and explain.” He smiled wrapping his arm around my shoulder as we walked up to his flat.

I was sat in his living room explain everything to him about me and Dan when his phone rang. He left the room and my phone began to ring.

Caller – Dan x

I declined the call but he rang again. I left it go to voicemail then a text came through.

*buzz buzz*

[Tink please come back. I’m sorry about before, my head is in such a mess right now. You know I don’t think that of you, but Amy wouldn’t lie about it. Guess things just got lost in translation. Before I could reply Jayden walked back into the living room followed by a petite brunette.

“Liv, this is Katy.” He smiled warily

“Oh hi.” I smiled, wiping my tears away. Getting up and giving her a hug

“You okay?” she asked sitting down

“Not really.” I sighed before drinking some more of my tea.

“I know this might be weird me being here...” I began

“ no. I know you and Jay were together but things kinda didn’t work out and that’s partially my fault but I guess you weren’t faithful either.” She smiled slightly and I smiled nodding. “It’s cool that you and Jay are mates, it’s nice.”

“Thank you.” I smiled and she took hold of my hand

“So , fill me in. What’s happened with you and Dan?”

I began my story again and she sat there listening to what I had to say, I filled them both in on Amy and they were gob smacked.

“ you want me to tell you the truth?” Katy asked

“Please...” I sighed

“I think she’s lying about being pregnant.”

“But we made her do a test. I saw her go upstairs with Lindsay and she took it.”

“Who’s Lindsay?”

“Her sister.”

“Why did her sister go with her?” Jay asked

“I duno...Amy asked her to come do the test with her.” I say slowly

“You see what I’m getting at?” Katy smiled, edging me on

“You think it’s Lindsay that’s pregnant...not Amy.” I asked and she nodded

“, she wants Dan back. So she’s thinking if she’s pregnant he will go back with her and leave you and by the time he realises maybe get pregnant for real or just tell him and hope he’ll stay.”

“I think you’re right you know. Something just doesn’t sit right with it all, hasn’t done since I found out she was pregnant, plus everything about the scan this morning....” I begin

“Makes sense why she told you the wrong date. A...to cause shit with you and Dan, getting him thinking you want him to miss things and B...she couldn’t have Dan at the scan for real because she’s not pregnant...Lindsay is.” Katy smiles at me

“Oh my god you’re right. I’m going to swing for the little slag.” I shout standing up.

“ no. You need to play this right and catch her out.”

“How?” I ask, still seething. How could I be so stupid to fall for her lies?

“She’s bound to be going out in town and getting drunk, or doing something shes not meant to be doing ‘whilst pregnant’ so we need to find her.”

“We?” I ask

“Yes we” she smiled “, I am so not letting you do this on your own. Plus i want to see her face when she realises you know she’s a lying bitch.” Katy grinned

“Ahh , you’re a star. I need to tell Evie the plan though.”

“Who’s that?”

“My twin.” I reply

“Yes okay...we need to go out soon.”

“How about tomorrow night? I bet she’ll be out celebrating me and Dan breaking up.”

“She probably will .”

We turned to look at Jay who was on his phone, not really paying attention. “You okay there ?” Katy asked him, nudging him slightly

“Huh? Oh yea. I got confused when you girls began talking really fast and that. So I stopped listening.”

Me and Katy burst out laughing. “Typical Man.” We both said at the same time, causing us to laugh even more.

It’s weird how we get along considering the situation but I’m glad I have someone who thinks like me.

“Okay, well you need to go home and make up with Dan. Then we can organise a night out tomorrow.”

“Yes. Dan and Luke are having a poker night or something round ours anyway so they won’t be out.”

“Yea I’m going...Luke text me about it last week.” Jaden smiled

“You can’t tell him what we’re doing Jay.” I say to him and he nods

“I won’t , plus I’m not too clued up on your plan anyway so I’d probably tell him something completely wrong and fuck things up so I’m keeping shtum.”

“Thanks Jay.” I smile getting up “You guys have been such a help today.”

“No problem .” Katy smiled hugging me. I gave Jay a hug and they walked me down to the doors.

“Ahh , let me get your number before you go.” Katy stopped me before I left

“Oh yes.” I smile and we exchange numbers before I began the walk home. I was going to sort things out with Dan, I guess I said we were done in the heat of the moment. I didn’t want to lose him. But I WAS going to go out tomorrow with the girls and I WAS going to catch Amy out as a lying whore.

I got back to the flat and Evie was sat in the living room with Luke, wedding papers everywhere once again.

“Liv.” She says getting up giving me a hug “What happened?”

“Long story ?”

“You and Dan okay?” she asked concerned “We heard all the arguing and you go out. Then he stormed out after you leaving Amy downstairs. I got rid of her but wasn’t sure how things were.”

“Well at this precise moment ...me and Dan aren’t together.” I sigh then hear a creak on the stairs. I turn my head and see him sat there in his grey joggers and a white vest. His eyes red roar.

“He came back about half an hour ago. Go sort things out with him. You two are perfect together, like me and Luke.” She smiled and touched her small bump

I nodded at her before touching her stomach. “My niece or nephew started kicking yet?”

“Not yet, moving around a lot though.” She laughed

“I can feel.” I smile before hugging her. “Love you Evie.”

“Love you too Liv.”

I pulled away before walking up the stairs and past Dan who was still sat there. I walked into my room, leaving the door open...hopefully he’ll follow me.

I sat on my bed by my pillows and watched as Dan slowly got up from the stairs and walked into my room, closing and locking the door behind him. He came over and sat on the bottom on my bed facing me. For the first time ever...I didn’t know what to say to him.

“Did you get my message?” he mumbled

“Yea I got it...sorry I didn’t reply.”

He sighed and got off the bed. I thought he was going to leave but he came round and sat next to me. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me in close.

“I am not losing you okay?” he whispered before repeatedly kissing my head

“Okay.” I sniff, I didn’t want to lose him either.

“When I gave you this...” he began wrapping his arm around my shoulder, linking his fingers through my right hand “...I meant every word and I still do. I will always love you and will always be here. I didn’t fight for you to be mine just to let you go when things get hard.”

“Things are beyond hard at the moment though Dan and you not believing me hurt more than you could imagine.”

“I do believe you. I just don’t understand what happened. I know it’s so difficult for you, me and Amy but we are just going to have to get through it together . Because when the baby comes it’ll be round here half the time, we need to be strong.”

“What happened is that she lied to me about the date and I can still see you don’t believe me, if you did you wouldn’t doubt what I’m saying.”

“I’m just so confused.” He sighed

“I know you are but I need you believe me because if you don’t we will fall apart Dan. She is coming between us and causing so much trouble, I dread to think what the next thing she’ll accuse me of doing.”

“I do believe you okay. I understand why you are feeling like this but we need to stay strong . She’s not going to say anything or do anything to you okay....” he says pausing slightly “I love you, always remember that.”

“I love you to Dan.” I reply and his lips attached themselves to mine. It began to get slightly passionate as he moved so he was now on top of me, our tongues massaging one another’s.

“So are we over?” he asked after pulling away and I shook my head.

“I’m sorry I said that...I could never actually leave you.”

“Thank god. I was so worried that we were over for good.”

“You can’t get rid of me that easily” I smile, rubbing behind his ear how he likes it.

“I love it when you do that you know?” he smiled leaning his forehead on mine

“I know.” I whisper, our lips practically touching

“So can we continue from where we got interrupted from this morning?” he grinned playing with the strings on my hoody

“Oh yes.” I smile, “Make up sex is the best sex.”

As soon as I had said sex his lips crushed against mine, his hands working their way up my waist. My top and hoody came off at the same time being flung across the room as Dan lips urgently found their way back to mine. I tugged at his top pulling it off, allowing me to admire that amazing body of his.

*ring ring ring*

I opened my eyes to see Dan staring back at me. He pulled his phone out of his pocket, that was vibrating against my hip.

He flashed his phone at me, sighing....

Incoming call – Amy

Did this girl have a camera in our room or something?

He went to decline it but I grabbed it off him...this bitch needed telling.
