What happened just now?

Why Raj behaved like that?

What his parents hide from him?

May be it's about the contract marriage?

May be it's about the will?

Realisation hit me hard Oh my God! It means that Mr and Mrs Tandel didn't inform him about his uncle's will.

I was thinking about the possibilities behind whatever happened few minutes before. Suddenly I heard a known voice asking,

"May I come in?"

It's Riya standing at the door of my room.

"Yes Riya please come in.", I said.

I wondered what is she doing here? I don't know if she knows about the will and the contract marriage?

"How are you?", She enquired.

"I am fine. Sorry Riya I spoiled your day.", I apologized.

I feel sad for her because of my issues her special day got spoiled. I didn't even thought about her once. I had thought that we will become very good friends if everything goes right but now I think she is going to hate me.

"You don't have to say sorry. I can understand what you were going through?"

"Thanks Riya for understanding my situation at least you are not like your parents.", I replied sarcastically.

She is such a nice girl. My brother is a lucky man to have her as his wife.

"My parents are not bad they are just overprotective towards their children.", She tried to defend her parents.

I nodded my head in approval. I know that they are protective towards their kids but it doesn't means that they will hurt someone else feelings and emotions.

"I know everything.", Riya said.

I turn my head towards her and raised my eyebrows questioningly. She said she knows everything but I don't know what this everything includes.

"Yes Karuna I know about my uncle's will and about your contract marriage with Raj Bhaiya.", She said while revealing that her everything includes everything.

I looked at her shockingly. She knows everything still she didn't have any problem?

"Do you really wants to get married to my brother because you love him or it's because you want to save your family business?" I said angrily.

This whole Tandel family is getting on my nerves. I just can't bear all these.

"No, you are getting me wrong, I do like Karan and I don't care if you accept this contract marriage proposal or not I am still getting married to him.", Riya defended herself.

"Sorry for doubting you. I can't see my brother in pain that's why I behaved illogically.", I said calmly.

"I understand your feelings. I also have a brother. My brother is not bad Karuna.", She said.

I turned towards her and just shrugged my shoulder doubtfully.

"You must be thinking that I am trying to defend Raj Bhaiya but I am telling you the truth my brother is not a bad guy.", Riya explained.

I didn't react this time. I closed my eyes tightly and inhale deeply. I just want this day to get over it's the worst day of my life many unusual things happened in just one day.

"You know what Karuna there was a time when my brother was very cool and care free he use to smile all the day and make everyone happy by saying silly jokes. I miss my old Raj Bhaiya.", Riya said sadly.

"Then what happened to him?", I enquired.

"First you have to promise me whatever I am going to tell you? You will not judge him." Riya requested.

I wonder what she is going to reveal about Raj.

"Okay, I promise.", I assured her.

I don't know if I will be able to keep my promise or not but I will try my best.

"The reason of his Change behaviour is Ajay Bhaiya, Raj Bhaiya's best friend since childhood both of them were inseparable from each other just like two body one soul.

One day Ajay Bhaiya fall in love with a girl named .

I met her personally couple of times she was very pretty and very humble in nature.

Ajay Bhaiya and Reena Bhabhi both get married to eachother after dating for sometime. Raj Bhaiya was very happy for his best friend.

After few months of their marriage Reena Bhabhi got pregnant and both the Bhaiyas happiness was on cloud nine. Raj Bhaiya was going to be a chachu (uncle).

But Reena Bhabhi had many complications on her pregnancy doctors even suggested her to go for abortion but she denied and decided to keep the baby.

Every thing was going fine. Reena Bhabhi was following all the instructions given by her doctor very strictly. All the time either Raj Bhaiya or Ajay Bhaiya use to be around her they never left her alone.

But when she was seven months pregnant both Ajay Bhaiya and Raj Bhaiya got some important work and they had to leave her alone for sometime and during that period her stomach start to pain. Still somehow she managed to call Ajay Bhaiya.

Both Ajay & Raj Bhaiya took her to the hospital. Doctor said that they have to operate her immediately her condition is getting worse.

I had told Raj Bhaiya that I also want to present at the time of her delivery. So, he called me.

All three of us were waiting outside the operation theatre. I still remember that cruel day.

The doctor came outside of operation theatre, Ajay Bhaiya ran towards him and enquired about Reena Bhabhi and his child but the doctor lowered his head and said,

'I am sorry for your loss, we tried our best to save both of her, your wife and daughter'

Ajay Bhaiya became so angry he hold the collar of the doctor and shouted,

'What do you mean you tried doctor? What do you mean you tried?'

Ajay Bhaiya didn't wait for doctor's answer and ran inside the operation theatre.

The doctor came to us and said the same thing,

'I am sorry there were lot of complications we tried our best to save her.'

Raj Bhaiya fall down on the chair and started crying very hard. I tried hard to console him.

'Bhaiya you have to be strong for your friend. He needs you.', I said.

After few minutes of crying Raj Bhaiya stood up from the chair and went towards the operation theatre. I want to give them some privacy so, I remain outside but I heard Raj Bhaiya's shout, first he said loudly 'Ajay' then he shouted 'doctor'

I rushed inside and saw Reena Bhabhi's lifeless body lying on the bed and beside her was lying another lifeless body of her daughter. I noticed beside her bed on the chair Ajay Bhaiya was sitting and blood was coming out of his wrist.

Raj Bhaiya asked me to call the doctor soon. I went out and started running in search of the doctor as fast as I can. After few minutes of searching I finally found the doctor and explained him everything. We both ran towards operation theatre.

After examing Ajay Bhaiya doctor declared him dead.

From that day I had never seen my brother happy he blame himself for Ajay Bhaiya's death. He believe that if he had not emerged himself in his own sorrow and has went inside the operation theatre along with Ajay Bhaiya then he might be alive today.

That's why Karuna my brother is still unmarried. That's the reason why my brother don't want to get married. He thinks that marriage is destruction. It took away his friend.

I hate Ajay Bhaiya. He didn't even think once about his best friend Raj before committing such drastic step. That day I lost two brothers.", Riya said.

I started crying after listening Raj's truth.

"I hope Karuna you will understand my brother's emotion and will not judge him.", Riya said hopefully.

I nodded my head in approval. I get up from my seat and came towards my closet to search that photograph. After searching for few minutes I finally found it.

I went towards Riya and showed her that photograph. Riya looked at me questioningly after watching her picture.

"She is my best friend. Reena was my best friend.", I said sadly.

"She was my only friend who use to understand me very well. When I heard that she is getting married I was too excited but because of my exams I was unable to attend her wedding and when I got to know that she is pregnant I was on cloud nine because I was going to be Masi (aunty) but I was unable to meet her because I was new to my job so no leave was granted to me and then one day I got this information that she is no more.", I said while crying.

Riya instantly hugged me and said,

"Now I believe only you can bring my brother back to his original from."

She broke the hug and watched me with hope and I watched her with blank expression.

"Please don't give up on my brother Karuna he needs someone who can understand him and share his pain.", She said hopefully.

I don't know what to reply? I nodded my head signalling her that I will try. I will do it for Reena.

I remember those days when Reena was alive. Whenever I use to talk to her after her marriage she always inform me about Ajay's best friend and tried to set me up with him but I was so busy on focusing my career I never listened to her.
