A week had gone by since the shooting and Dakota had to stay one more day since she started to have complications with the pregnancy.

It wasn't anything serious just mild issues but Dakota was still on alert hoping nothing was wrong with her children. As for Noah, he's been staying in Atlanta with Von since he wanted to spend some time with him.

Dakota was now driving down the street heading to Von's home, yes she decided to take him up on his offer of moving in together at first she didn't want to intrude on his home and other things since he had his homies living with him but Von being who he is convinced her to move in any way.

She was listening to "Toxic" by Kehlani while she drove down the street, Noah was in the car asleep while she belted out the notes of Kehlani's verses since that was one of her favorite records on "It Was Good Until It Wasn't".

Any way she stopped in his driveway parking her car before turning off the song and taking her keys from out the ignition.

"Folks! U missed me!" Von says while playing with Noah.

Dakota watched as her son smiled showing his teeth while enjoying being around Von it made her happy in a way that her son was being not cared for by her but by someone else that felt the same way about kids.

As for the suspect in the shooting of Dakota, it was found out to be a hitman hired by her child's father Dakota could believe he would stoop so low as to get her killed which made her dislike him even more, Von, on the other hand, wanted to kill him.

"You want something to eat?" Von asked.

Dakota shook her head no she had just eaten something earlier and wasn't in the mood to eat anything just yet, she had eaten a vegan soup earlier a was full for the time being it was sweet that he had asked her though.

"No, I'm good but it was sweet that you asked me though. I'll let you know when I'm hungry." She says while rubbing her belly.

She was now in her second trimester and it was kicking her butt five months into her pregnancy and boy was in pain, everything hurt from her legs, feet to her breasts and back this pregnancy was no joke in her opinion.

"I'm going to go upstairs and take a nap. You two gonna be fine down here?" She asked.

"Yeah we good! U an my babies rest!" Von said while sitting on the couch with Noah.

Dakota nodded and made her way up the stairs to his bedroom well they're bedroom that they share getting into the bed to take a much needed nap.

"U ready to go folks?" Von said looking at Noah.

Von had to pick up some of his jewelry from IceBox and he decided to take Noah with him since Dakota was sleeping.

Once he got Noah's jacket on he picked him up grabbing his car keys going outside heading towards the car.

He placed Noah inside buckling him up in his car seat while making sure he was secure than closed the back door getting inside the driver's seat as he closed the door and started the engine.

After a twenty minute drive Von got out of the car and went get Noah seeing he was fast asleep guess that car ride did it for him.

Anyway he made his way inside the facility opening one of the doors walking in to see Jenee standing there.

"Hey Von, you here for your pick up?" He said.

"Yeah lemme see it!" Von says walking over to the display case.

Von waited as the guy went to the back and came back with a small blue box, opening it unveiling the diamond ring.

"U think ya mama will like it huh?" Von says staring at a now awake Noah.

Noah looked around at the scenery before as he tried to grab the ring out of his hand.

"Nah folks u can't have dis imma have to come back and get u something then." He says with a smile.

"This ring was custom made to fit your liking and plus what you've told about her so I hope she loves this ring." He says.

"She'll love it!" Von says placing it back in the box.

Just then Noah started whining while rubbing his eyes guess he was sleepy again.

"Aye calm all dat out! Imma take you back to the car." He said as he moved his attention back onto the box.

Noah continues to throw a little fit as Von started to rock him while he is trying to take care of business.

"Mama!" Noah said as he opened his arms.

"What is it mama's baby!" Dakota said picking him up.

Von was busy in his game room watching an episode of Chicago M.E.D. on the television an he took the box from out from under the coffee table opening it.

He saw as the ring glistened in the light staring at it, Dayvon took a deep breath and continued to look at how beautiful the ring was. He felt like she was the one to marry not that he had ever thought about marriage.
