"Hey what's up you guys! Welcome back to the stream!" Quinn smiled, she had her face cam on today, so she did her hair and makeup, but was wearing pajama bottoms and a Sapnap sweatshirt. She didn't really have a plan for the stream, but she felt like she wanted to get some building done, and figured that she could do kind of a Q&A.
"So today, I was thinking we could have a chill stream, I wanna play around on the SMP finish building my basement, and I thought maybe you guys could ask some questions that you want answered. I have chat open, and Twitter open, so ask using #QuinnQandA and I'll check every once in a while!" As she was talking she didn't hear her door open from behind her. She was so focused on opening up her Minecraft, that she didn't see Clay sneaking up from behind her.
When chat realized what was happening they started to freak out, sending warning to Quinn, who of course, didn't see them in time.
"Whatcha doing?" His voice made Quinn nearly jump out of her seat. That would definitely get clipped later.
"DREAM!" Quinn turned towards him quickly, calming herself. In her head it was a little weird to switch from Clay to Dream so fast, but because his online personality is so energetic, it made more sense, "I'm playing around on the SMP, if you wanna join?"
"Can I just hang out in here with you for a little bit? I don't wanna log into my computer right now," he didn't even wait for Quinn's answer, but instead pulled the rolling chair that he brought from his room next to her.
"What if I said no?" Quinn remarked sassily, but gave a half-hearted laugh and dropped the attitude, "That's fine, you can read out the questions from twitter." She handed him her phone without thinking twice. And then... she thought about it.
He could very easily open up messages and see the texts between her and Ellie, or even her and Nick. She took a deep breath, trying not to let her anxiety show, and instead changed her stream title.
Dream SMP with Dream... and Q&A
When the SMP loaded up, Quinn hit Tab to see who else was on, and she tried to ignore how close Clay was to her.
"Wait what's that?" Clay pointed to something on Quinn's monitor, there was something that had just started to load up in the distance. As Quinn's character approached it, she realized it was a castle.
"WOAH," Quinn felt her mouth fall open a bit, "Who lives there?"
"I dunno, go check it out," Clay was close enough to Quinn and he put his chin on her shoulder watching her go. Quinn didn't wanna look at chat, she was afraid that it was gonna be something about them being a ship. Quinn found out very quickly that Clay's love language was physical touch, he was always putting his arms around the boys, high-fiving them, hugging her, he was very touchy. Quinn didn't mind it, in fact, she loved it a lot, even though her love language was words of affirmation. She liked seeing that he cared.
The castle was a lot bigger than she thought it would be, it looked like a Foolish build, and gave off his vibe. Inside the walls, Technoblade was written everywhere, it looked very royal, with a hint of danger.

"What the-" Clay whispered looking at a painting on the wall. The second Quinn noticed the painting, she noticed the other decorations that were a little more eerie. The painting said and much of the walls seemed to be covered in blood.
"Are we supposed to be here chat?" Quinn asked and turned her attention to Twitch where the chat seemed to be spamming something about lore. Quinn's eyes widened and she quickly tabbed into a full face cam screen, "I don't know if we were supposed to see that..."
"You idiot!" Nick burst into the room, holding his phone, Quinn's stream playing, "Also you guys hanging out without me? Scuffed."
"How were we supposed to know!?" Clay always switched into Dream so fast whenever the boys were added into the mix, "I'm not exactly in control of anything right now, so I have no idea what lore stuff on the server. We saw a castle, we went. Whoops."
Quinn giggled a little, "Sap, go get your chair, bring it, get George too, we'll do some roommate Q&A."
Everyone in chat seemed excited about getting 4/4 content. It was hard to constantly get everyone in one stream, because of the fact that they were all working on their own projects, so when they did get everyone together, it was a guaranteed good time. Clay had picked his head up from Quinn's shoulder when Nick walked in, and now he seemed to be switching into Dream mode. But it didn't keep him from whispering into Quinn's ear.
"Dang, I was hoping to get some one on one time with you," There was a hint of pout in his tone, but also a hint of pride. Quinn watched herself turn a slight pink in her webcam's preview. Having Clay in her ear had electrified her skin, and she could feel his breath on her skin. She let his words settle and glanced at her Twitch chat, who were freaking out.
"Did you say that into my mic on purpose?" She side eyed him, he was smirking, "Of course you did, you dingus."
Still, Quinn composed herself in just enough time for Nick and George to enter, both dragging their chairs. Quinn stood to adjust her camera, zooming it out to get the four of them comfortably in shot. When everyone was settled, Quinn opened twitter on her phone and went to the hashtag. There were so many tweets. She advised the boys to go through and pick some of their favorite questions to read out. George was the first to read.
"Quinn, this one asks which one of us is your favorite, but it's obviously me, right?" He laughed a little, as both Clay and Nick gave him a look. George and Quinn streamed together the most, so he was the easiest answer, their relationship was lighthearted and very friendly. With Nick, they bonded a little more intensely, and it felt a lot like a brotherly relationship, keeping a big secret for her. And her relationship with Clay was to be determined.
"I don't have a favorite, you idiots," Quinn huffed and crossed her arms, "although whoever wants to make dinner tonight might just take the top spot."
She had never seen anyone less enthusiastic about making dinner, George slumped back into his chair, and Nick rolled his eyes, but Clay perked up a little.
"I'll do it," as he said that, the other two boys started teasing him.

"Dream is Quinn's favorite, confirmed? It's canon, it's canon." George poked Quinn in the side. She squirmed in her seat, Quinn was incredibly ticklish.
"Okay next question," Nick read out, "What was it like to go from online friends to roommates?"
Clay answered first, "It was definitely a change, Sapnap and I had been living together for about a year when George moved in, so he and I were able to adjust, and then George came in and we readjusted again, and it was like four months after George that Quinn joined us, and now we're here, and I feel like we've settled."
"You didn't answer the question," George pointed out, "so I guess I will. It was...weird? At least for me, was it weird for you guys? I don't know, I guess it was just different, waking up and being able to see you guys every day, even when we don't stream. It didn't feel real."
Quinn nodded, "Yeah, no, I agree with you. Being the last one to move in, it felt kinda like I was dreaming, because it was so easy to fit in with you guys here, but at the same time, it was weird to have no limits on when we hung out. But y'know it's been fun."
Quinn smiled at George, suddenly feeling a little vulnerable and she glanced back down to her phone, finding and reading the next question, "If you could go back and relive an event, what would it be and why?"
"Oh easy, Vidcon," Dream answered, sharing a look with Quinn, "It was the day that I got to meet so many of the people who enjoyed my content, and it was when I did the face reveal, so I feel like I could finally be myself then."
Quinn looked in her lap, he looked at her for a reason, Vidcon was the day that they met.
It was that day that Quinn had been running a little late, and so was he, so they ended up in the elevator together, sleep-deprived and nervous, almost too jittery to speak. They bonded a little over being content creators, and Clay introduced himself. It was that same day that Quinn had bumped into him again in the afternoon, perusing around the event, and they hung out a little more. After that day, nothing was ever the same. She smiled fondly at the memory. Someone in chat seemed to pick up on the allusion, but she ignored it.
"Mine would probably be the day I moved in with Dream," Sapnap nodded, he didn't elaborate, but he didn't really need to. Everyone understood what he meant, moving in together was one of the best decisions they could have made.
The group answered some more questions, recollecting some of their memories and telling stories.
"Do you remember that time," Quinn began, "That I got really sick? It was like two weeks after I moved in, and I got the flu or something?"
"Yes, oh my God," Sapnap picked up, "And you were so stubborn about streaming that you like passed out on stream. You sounded so sick, I got scared, Dream wanted to take you to the hospital, but George was sure you would be fine."
"George!" Quinn laughed, "Well, I'm glad it wasn't anything serious. Or else I would have just died."
"Genuinely, though, I was so scared, I called my mom," Dream pantomimed a phone, "I was like 'Mom what do you think she has? Should we take her to the hospital? Lock her in her room? I really had no idea.'"
Quinn bit the inside of her cheek thinking about Clay calling his mom worried about her, "You guys were so sweet, I'm pretty sure that was the most hydrated I had ever been, because you all just brought me water constantly. I felt so bad when you guys got sick."
Quinn played nurse for a week, after she got better, the boys one by one started catching fevers. It was a rough two weeks for streaming.
"Okay okay, last question, this one's kinda just a stupid one, but I'm interested in hearing your thoughts," George read the question with a complete straight face, "What is your preffered way to kill someone?"
"WHAT," Dream wheezed, "Like in Minecraft?"
Clay's laugh never failed to make Quinn burst into laughter, and then George and Sapnap followed.
"George, I don't think I have ever really put any thought into killing someone," Sapnap regarded the group seriously, "But I feel like Quinn's thought about it."
"What? Why me?" Quinn protested, "Okay, did I watch Criminal Minds? Yes. Does that mean literally anything? No."
After the laughter settled, Quinn kicked the boys out of her room so she could end stream. She talked to chat a little bit, thanked some subs, read out some donos, and then ended the stream.
When she opened her door, Clay was standing there, a small smile on his face. He outstretched his arms, and pulled her into a hug. Her stomach pooled in her feet.
"What's this for?" Quinn let herself be hugged, letting out a deep breath, Clay gave the best hugs.
"I was just thinking about Vidcon," He didn't move.
"I was thinking about it too," Quinn was glad she wasn't the only one, "It's crazy to think that there was a possibility that we never met, it was completely by chance that we did."
"I have to say I don't agree with you," Clay pulled back only far enough to look at Quinn, his arms were still around her, " Even if it wasn't in the elevator, we would've met some other way. I don't believe that there's a timeline that we don't meet."
Quinn let herself turn pink. This was an incredibly intimate moment, but she didn't want it to end. If she wanted to, she could tell him how she felt, and in this moment, Quinn was almost certain he would feel the same. But as she felt herself build up the courage to say something, George entered.
"Is everything okay?" He sounded worried.
"Everything's okay," Quinn confirmed, suddenly a little embarrassed. She stepped back a little too far from Clay and almost tripped over herself.
She was definitely going to have to revisit this moment later, and overanalyze it. But for now, she would convince the boys to watch a shitty hallmark movie on the couch, and would fall asleep cuddled in between two of them, feeling extremely content with her best friends.
