The next week was wild with crazy campaigns, and the votes were coming in one by one. At the end of the week, the results were in, and we were all in the common room, anxious to know who won.
"And the winner is- Naomi!!" Doug said.
I cheered for Naomi. I was so happy she won. As she went up to say a few words, she said to the director, "You should have more confidence."
"What?" the director said.
"I mean, your tits are fine. You shouldn't have to stuff them," she said as she grabbed some of the votes out of her bra.
We all started laughing our asses off. It was clear that Cook won, and not Naomi. The room broke out into total mayhem. Cook squirted a fire extinguisher everywhere, and it got all in mine and Effy's hair. After everything calmed down, Effy and I went into the bathroom to get the fire extinguisher goo out.
"We look like someone just came in our hair," I said as Effy laughed. When that was done, I walked home, took a shower, and changed into this.
I had just finished blow drying my hair and went downstairs to make a milkshake when I saw Sid and Cook at the kitchen table.
"What the fuck are you doing here? Sid, why did you let him in?" I said.
"Because he wanted to see you," Sid said bluntly, "I'll let you two be."
Sid left the room, so it was only Cook and me.
"Want a milkshake?" I said, getting out the chocolate ice cream.
"Yea, vanilla."
"Ok, chocolate it is," I said, scooping the ice cream and pouring the milk into the blender.
"Hey! I said vanilla," he whined.

"Don't care. Vanilla's for boring people," I said, starting the blender. The next thing he did was unexpected and weird. He walked up to me and started kissing me, like trying to make out with me kissing me. But I didn't kiss back. My eyes were wide open, and then, he finally pulled away.
"You know, babes, you're supposed to kiss back."
I turned off the blender and poured the milkshakes into glasses.
"I know that, stupid. Maybe I don't want to kiss you back. Ever thought of that?" I said.
"Come on, Bri Bri. Give it up. I know deep down inside you want me."
"Do I now?"
"Yes."
I walked over to him so that our faces were inches apart, put my hands on his cheeks, and kissed him. He kissed back and got rather... handsy shall we say. Cook lifted me on the counter, and we continued to make out until I heard footsteps coming downstairs. I immediately pushed him off me and got off the counter as my mom entered the kitchen.
"Bri! Um, who's this?" My mom said.
"Oh um, just a friend. We're working on a project. He was just about to leave, weren't you?" I said, practically pushing him out the door. My mom just shrugged her shoulders and walked into the other room.
"Look, you've gotta go. Bye," I said. He laughed and kissed me one last time before leaving. As I closed the door, I sighed and slightly leaned against it.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

Mana System - Hello, World! [Complete]
What would you do if your world collapsed and you had less than an hour to choose a suitable role that would allow you to survive? Would you give in to despair? Paul choose to fight for survival, now he has to face off against predatory animals, monsters, and even the land itself all modified by the Mana System. Eventually, he will have to face off against a foe even deadlier than the rest. Humans! I feel I need to add this disclaimer because some people really get their panties in a twist when they reach the second arc. This is not a grimdark story. Yes, there are portions that are dark and grim, including slavery which is why I have the traumatizing content box checked. If you can't stomach a little slavery and torture, probably best to find a different story to read. Complaining that you felt lied to isn't going to make me change my story. If this offends you, leave a review.
