《Blame the goddess ✔️》Chapter 31-Nine months later-All Rafe

'Bless the Broken Road' as High Lord Rafe's choice for their wedding song.
*********************************************
Cal did an amazing job with decorating the manor, excuse me, Yorke Manor. He is anal about calling the manor, Yorke Manor. Sun God helps anyone who forgets. I stroll through the lobby, holding my sister Georgiana's arm, making my way to the gazebo to meet my husbands, I see how Cal has incorporated aspects of Darric, himself and me in most parts of this huge house. He really made his vision come alive and I love it.
We each have our own space in different corners of the house. He dubbed Darric his 'anger ball' space. The room looks more like a gym than a relaxing room. Darric has all manners of exercise equipment in there, with a sauna and jacuzzi. And a pool table.
He calls my space the 'posh outlet' and frankly I don't see what he means by that. My room is relaxing, with a mini wine cellar tucked in one corner. I have the newest sound system for my music, soft leather chairs for comfort, and my brand of cigar for the occasional smoke. My mates will be shocked at my taste in music, very eclectic. Nothing posh about that.
Now Cal's room is called the 'mad hatter' room. He has bean bags and full body pillows all over the place on rainbow-colored mats. He has so many pictures of different plants and herbs on his wall that they create a wallpaper of their own.
Our house is a stone manor. Cal believes that stones will hold up better when we 'accidentally' crash into our walls. The manor is an elaborately carved stonework mansion built with an entrance under one of its three archways. It looks like a grand castle with enough regal charm. The open archways yield amber light from within, inviting one to step inside a contemporary home.
The manor and land have top security features and also supernatural veil courtesy of Cal and Esme. We cannot be too careful.
Georgiana releases my hand, faces me, pulls my shoulders down and reties my tie. I'm getting married and she's the nervous one!
"When are you planning to marry Raul? You promised you would if I bring him back from Nebraska safely."
"I plan to marry him in five months. I'll tell him after your wedding."
"You should've married him when we came back. You're older and should be married before me."
"Says who? I will marry the man when I am good and ready. One thing I know Raul has learned is that I may be better with him in my life but I am best by myself so he must never take me for granted ever again."
"So, he's forgiven?"
"I forgave him decades ago. I just had to 'teach' him not to ever make that mistake again in his lifetime. And always remember what he will lose if he ever lets his dick dictate his actions again."
"Good to know."
"On a serious note, you're getting married, Petrov and I'm so proud of you."
I raise my eyes at the 'name that shall not be mentioned', "thank you, Pollyanna."
"As your mother..."
"We have a mother, or did she die and I'm not aware of?" I tease her.
"You are my first love; the first child of my soul and I will miss you like crazy. You will have two husbands from today and that means double the joy, anxiety, worry and rewards. Take each day as it comes. Don't solve every problem as you usually do. Sometimes people just need you to listen and not jump in and fix their problems. When your children arrive, love each one for who they are. Don't change them. Raise them well, you're standing in front of the perfect mother who raised you. So, if you are half the parent I am, you are good."

I smile at her words because Sun god help me, she's right. She really raised me. She whopped my ass when needed; comforted, listened, encouraged, supported me all my life and still does.
She pats the tie, as I stand upright and continues, "Mother tried we both know that, but she traveled with father a lot, so it was the two of us and sometimes Jeffery. So now you must flip the 'clan leader' script and be a little selfish. Put your family first, your husbands and children will love you for it. You don't want to miss any important moments in their lives. All I'm saying Petrov, my love, is that you be a better parent than I am, a better spouse than our parents are to your husbands and just be a better person for your mates. Okay, enough sermon on this wonderful day. Come on."
She turns to go, and I grab her from behind, lean my head on her shoulder, and whisper "thank you, Pollyanna. I wouldn't be the person I am today if not for you. And I wouldn't have anyone else walk me down the aisle but you. Let's go my husbands are waiting."
I move to her side and hold her arm again, as we wait for the music to start, prompting our walk down the aisle.
I look out to the gazebo that Roland constructed to Cal's specifications and that it is beautiful. I hate to disagree with Darric but the whole layout is perfect. The gazebo is octagonal, about thirty feet in diameter. It stands at about ten feet in height, with a gray roof. It has white pillars and white screens all around. It has two level steps around. They decorate it with white chiffon material on the pillars and arched between them. Each break in the white screen has white flowers tied to them. A miniature size carving of our family crest is hanging on the middle entryway. The floor is grey and cemented. Beautiful and regal.
This gazebo is different because Cal had Roland build three entryways into the gazebos for each one of us to walk in. We seat our family and friends in two rows only. Cal will walk down the middle aisle, separating the rows. Darric walks down the outermost left and I the right. All three of us will meet in the gazebo.
And standing there waiting for all three of us to officiate the wedding is none other than Esme Wood.
I smile as I remember the constant arguments and changes that Cal put Roland through to get this gazebo built. I was walking through the yard with Darric when we witnessed one in particular.
"This is the thousandth change you've made Cal. I will never build this gazebo in time for the wedding if you keep this up," Roland rolls up Cal's new specs.
Roland, Joaquim, Raven, and Serena are staying at the manor while Roland builds our wedding gazebo.
"You will Roland, I trust you. Just add this last thing and I'm done."
"That's what you said several times before."
"I know. Oh, also what if you have this part..."
"That's it," Raven screams. "You, my friend, are turning into a 'groomzilla'."
"Groomzilla?" Cal asks.
"Yes, you're more anal than usual, stop and trust Roland to build you the best gazebo ever. Come on, let's let Roland start his work. You only have a month before the wedding. And yes, Serena and I will decorate it to your specifications, okay?"
"Okay, I just want everything to be perfect."

"It will be, don't worry. Come on." Raven turned, and they saw us.
"Good afternoon, Lord Rafe, Alpha Darric," Raven greeted us.
"Good morning, Raven."
"Morning Raven, Serena," Darric replied.
"Are you okay Cal?"
"He's fine, my Lord. Just a little nervous before the wedding. Wedding jitters you know."
"Did you two try your suits on? Did they fit? If not, we need to alter them," Cal marches up to us.
"It fits perfectly, Darric?"
"Same here. Relax Cal. It's just a wedding ceremony."
"Just a wedding ceremony," Cal yells at Darric and I wisely take a step back from the line of fire. "This is not JUST a wedding Darric Grey. This is a tri-union between us. A free will ceremony we decided to do ourselves irrespective of what the god and goddess ordained. It must be perfect. This is not JUST A WEDDING, mister!"
"Okay, Cal let's go finalize the menu." Raven pulls Cal away and they walk back into the manor.
"He's more wired up than usual Rafe." Darric scratched his head and watched Cal walk back indoors with Raven and Serena.
"I know, just let him do what he wants to. He has a vision and I'm curious to see how everything looks when it's all done."
"Doesn't he know that nothing is ever perfect?"
"Do you want to tell him that?" I ask Darric.
"No way," he shook his head.
"Come on."
I tug the edge of my linen suit and straighten my purple tie, another detail Cal requests. Our ties match our eye colors, and we're all wearing black suits. I rub my suddenly bare finger missing my engagement ring. We had agreed to make them our wedding rings too. I have Darric's in my pocket, Darric has Cal's and Cal has mine.
They left the music choice to me. I didn't choose your run-of-the-mill wedding song; I chose a simple song about 'broken road' leading us all to each other. Perfect choice.
"Ready?"
"Yes."
And the music starts.
She walks, matching my step perfectly down the aisle to marry my husbands, my soul mates, the ones I have waited for, the ones I'm eternally grateful for, the ones I will love for eternity. I glance to my left and see Cal in his blue tie, walking between Serena and Raven, each holding an arm and Roland behind him in a grey suit. Raising my head, I see Darric in his yellowish tie walking down with Katreena holding his arm. Perfect.
We make it to the gazebo and Georgiana let go and I walk into the circle as do my mates. We all face our family and friends in a semi-circle with Esme in front also facing everyone.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we are here today to join these three men in blessed matrimony. I will not ask if anyone here has a reason why I should not perform this ceremony because if you dare say you do, I will fry you where you stand."
"Esme," Cal whispers in horror and we hear giggles all around. At least, my nerves are calm now. She turns to face us, her back to our guests.
"Cal, Darric and Rafe, are you three of sound mind and enter this tri union freely of your own volition?"
"Yes, we do."
"Now you each have your vows to share, so Cal you may go first."
"Rafe, loving you has been the most amazing thing in my life. I never thought someone could love me like that or deserve love like yours. Our relationship, even with some difficulties, has been the smoothest ride of my life. You've taught me to be strong, patient, and forgiving. I love your calmness, and I love your family, who are now mine and I am ever so grateful for that. I love you eternally Raphael Klyne."
"Darric, we had a tumultuous start but somehow and thank god, you changed along the way. I love you and the man you've become. I love who you are becoming. I love to see you grow into this amazing leader you are born to be. I love you eternally Darric Grey."
"Now Darric," Esme prompts.
"Rafe I owe all of this to you. If you hadn't been wise and generous loving me, loving Cal and building a bridge between us, I don't know where I'll be now. I love the man that you are. I love the gentleness that is you. You are the smartest man I know, and I pray to the goddess that our children have your spirit, wisdom, and intelligence."
"Amen," Esme whispers and Cal giggles.
"I love you eternally Raphael Klyne."
"Cal, we have had our share of troubles. I will live for the rest of my life, appreciating you for all the years I lost with you. I am standing here because the goddess mates me with you and you forgave my awful behavior. I thank the goddess for another chance with you. I love you eternally Callum Yorke."
"Finally, Lord Klyne?"
"Darric, Cal, to be honest, I am jealous of your history, your years together. Good or bad you had a history. You've known each other since you were young. You know more about each other than I could ever know. But from this day forward we create a new history and that gladdens my heart. A history of no baggage, but of newness, happiness, family and long lives together. I thank the Sun god every day I found you both. I love you eternally Callum Yorke and I love you eternally Darric Grey."
"Please exchange rings."
I take Darric's ring and together Cal and I slip it on his finger, as do Cal and Darric on my finger and Darric and I on Cal's.
"Now please join your right hands together."
We join our right hands together and Esme moves her right hand over our joined ones, chanting. "By the benevolence of the Ancient One, and the fortitude of the Sun god and Moon goddess, I, High Priestess Esme Wood of the Phoenix Coven now join these three souls in a blessed union. Halloweth be."
"Halloweth be," our guests all reply.
We share kisses and walk out of the gazebo to join our small group of family and friends. I hug my parents, sister, niece, Raul, Tobias, getting handshakes or hugs all around. Roman, Salim, and his siblings are here.
There are some pack warriors here, including Cole and Minerva. Darric's father is also in attendance. The Johnsons with their baby girl.
We lead the way to the other side of the manor where a seat down dinner has been set up. Just as the three of us sit at our table, Esme takes the microphone and walks towards us with a mischevious smile on her face. I feel the hair on my neck stand up.
"Hello everyone: I know that these three have been looking forward to this day for a long time and I'm thrilled for them. So that we can all enjoy this festive occasion, I will give the newlyweds my present now."
"On the count of three, everybody say 'bye-bye' to the newlyweds," Esme says, waving in our direction.
Bye-bye? What is she up to?
"One, two, three!"
The last thing I heard were loud 'bye-byes'.
Fuck me! I look around and wonder, where the hell are we?
"ESME WOOD!!!"
I grin congratulating myself for saving them all that airport hassle. Cal better be darn grateful. Honestly, the things I do for my root.
"Tell me, where did you send them?" Georgiana walks up to me, grinning.
"Somewhere Cal will absolutely love, and his mates will absolutely hate. The Amazon jungle."
Georgiana burst out laughing, holding on to me, "Esme Wood, you're simply the best. Let's go party."
Esme? Honeymoon in the jungle? 😀. Anyway, I hope you like their wedding song.
