Karen's POV

It's been a week and luckily someone from Cory's pack had type O blood. They got here quickly and the doctor went to work because his life was in danger.

I didn't eat or sleep during that time. I was watching him, making sure that he did everything he could to help our Luna.

"Hey." Lucy walked in putting her hand on my shoulder.

"How's it going Luc?" I asked.

"Everyone's concerned for their Luna."

"Yeah, so am I. I'm really trying so hard not bash that doctor's skull into his desk until I feel it crack, you know? He started a blood transfusion without checking to see if anyone had her blood type first. Like that's so stupid."

"Well, why don't you and I fight? Since we are training for a war, I think it would help these warriors see what kind of power we're up against. You've seen Blue Moon in action before."

"You're right Lucy. But please be aware I'm going to release some anger. I'm very very different when I'm angry."

"Don't worry Karen, I'm angry too."

I got up and air kissed Rachel and followed Lucy to the combat training room. I stopped by my room to change into a sports bra and spandex. I put my hair into a braid and wrapped it around until it was in a bun.

I got to the training room and in there were our warriors. Ranging from age 16 to 40. The forty year olds don't look their age but with them being rogues for so long, they do have experience so we let them help out the younger ones.

"I know all of you are concerned for your Luna, as am I, but use that anger you're feeling and incorporate it into your fighting. I'm most positive that the person who hurt your Luna is the big enemy that we're preparing to fight. Right now, Lucy and I will fight.

I walked to Lucy and she yelled, "There will come a time when you need to shift. What I advise is we stay in human form for as long as possible. Our instinct will kick in and so will adrenaline. There is a way for you to beat a wolf while in human form." She motioned for me to shift and I did after I took my clothes off. She had a stick in her hand and walked further away from me. "It's risky but it works. You run to the wolf as fast as you can."

She did that and I ran to her. She slid under me and drove the stick in me where my heart is. She didn't do it hard but it shocked me.

"You stab and release and get up quickly and go on to the next one. You will have a dagger and sword made of pure silver. What's also risky is hitting them on the nose. It will stun them for a little bit but use that to slash their throat. You'll be on the ground and you'll get blood on you. It's inevitable. If you get hurt, shift. It's gonna take a lot but you have to shift. When you bite someone, go for the throat and hold on for dear life. If they try pushing you off, rip out whatever your canines are sinked into as hard as you can."

I shifted back into a human and grabbed my clothes and put it on. We circled around each other, neither one of us attacking, just looking for any signs of weakness.

She squinted and attacked. I dodged her and she did a back flip. She kicked me but I caught her leg and she punched me in the nose with all her might. I let go of her leg and she kicked me violently in the arm. I growled and felt that she was trying to break it.

I kicked her in her chest and she started wheezing. I ran to her and kicked her face and she howled, knowing her jaw was broken. I did a spin kick and kicked her in the stomach. She doubled over and I yelled, "This is where you'll run over to them and elbow them in the back of their neck, as hard as you can. That's a weak spot, that is where the top part of the spinal cord is at and you can paralyze them. They should go down and when they do, snap their neck."

With my good arm, I held out my hand for Lucy. "I think we should go visit the doctor, just to check out our wounds." I suggested.

"Yeah because you kicked me pretty hard and I think you cracked some bones in my ribs."

"Fuck, I'm sorry." I told her. "You all can go home! I hope you were taking notes, you'll be asked to do what we just did tomorrow." I told the warriors.

We walked to the pack doctors and Garrett ran to Lucy. "Oh my god, honey, are you okay? I felt every thing that happened to you."

"Garrett, I'm fine. Just sparring with Karen." He looked at me and said, "You both look like hell."

"She is our head warrior for a reason." "And she is our Alpha for a reason."

We smiled at each other and the nurses came in and gave us pain medicine.

"All broken bones and wounds will heal. This medicine will make the pain subside and speed up the process. Take it twice a day before going to sleep and first thing in the morning. Don't do any vigorous activities and you'll heal in about two days."

"Thanks." We all said.

I walked to Rachel's room and she was lying still. Her wound was starting to heal, it didn't look nasty and stuff as it did before. I held her hand and closed my eyes.

"Karen?"

I jumped up and looked at the person who called me.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, just worried about this war."

"Don't worry, it'll all be alright."

Cara sat beside me and held Rachel's hand. "I'm sorry I was being rude earlier. I guess getting kicked out by your best friend is an eye opener."

"Cara, it's going to be okay, alright? I need for you and Tiana to be on good terms, okay? Even though you all came from Blue Moon, we still want for you two to be friends." She nodded and started crying silently. "Speaking of which, how did you guys get out?" I asked.

"Tiana asked Mike to let me out so I could see my soon to be moms. I've been wanting to talk to you guys for a while."

"About what?" I asked skeptical.

"Can we go in your office? It's soundproof right?"

"Of course." We got up and I escorted her to my office. When we got there she took a deep breath and said, "Your pack is in danger. The quiet guy, Dave, he's a mole. I got him to tell me everything because he likes me and he never did anything. He's spying on you guys because you're a new pack filled with rogues and rogues aren't meant to be in a pack."

"I knew one of you guys were a mole. I thought it would be the old guy."

"Haha, no, it's Dave."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I want to start fresh. I don't want to be known as a slut anymore. I want to be known as Cara. And I have to apologize to Tiana. What I did to her is unforgettable."

"Yeah, it was." I replied.

"So, go get him before me or Tiana does." She replied, laughing sheepishly.

I sent a mind link out to Mike about the mole and he said he's on it.

Cara left and I walked back to the infirmary to see Rachel.
