Rachel's POV

"Karen?"

"Hi Rachel."

I looked around to see who called my name and saw my family. "What is this, some kind of intervention?"

"We're sorry for how everything turned out. But listen to us, you're in danger." My dad told me.

"Danger? Wait a minute, are we all dead?" I asked.

"Between life and death. You need to come to Blood Moon, and fast." My mom told me.

"Why?"

"We're at war Rachel. You're a Luna and you need to protect your pack and also help Karen. You don't have much time." Michael said.

"But, Michael-"

"Go, hurry! We're counting on- AAAHHH!"

"Mom!" Michael and I yelled.

"Cassadee!" My dad yelled.

I jumped awake and found myself in a hospital room.

"Karen!" I yelled loudly, tears falling. "Karen!"

The doctor rushed in, along with nurses and they were all checking me and other stuff.

"Get my mate in here right now!"

"Yes, Luna."

In exactly one minute, Karen came busting through the doors and to my side.

"Oh my goddess. Oh Rachel I'm so glad you're okay." She kissed me hard and I could taste her tears.

"Karen, we have to go to Blood Moon, they're being attacked. My family, they came to me in a dream and my mom disappeared and that's when I woke up. Karen, we have to go."

"Rachel, how can you be so sure? What if it's a trick?"

"When have I ever lied to you? This is my family we're talking about. Even if they don't accept me, I still love them with all my heart. I'm not like you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I don't hold grudges. After a while I start to slowly forgive them."

"Whatever. I'll call them and ask them if they need anything."

"If they're getting fucking attacked, what makes you think they'll answer a call?"

"Look Rachel, you just woke up out of a coma, if this is true, I need you to be at your best so we can fight. I can't focus if you're not healthy." She told me.

I huffed out and she kissed me. "I love you, doofus."

"I love you too, loser."

She walked in the doctors office and got on the phone.

Are you okay? I asked my wolf.

I want my mate.

Me too.

"Karen!" I called out.

She ran to me and felt all over my face. "What's wrong honey?"

"I need you. I need you to listen to me and trust me. Go to Blood Moon. Cara and Tiana even said that Blue Moon was planning an attack. Get Red Claw to help you out, this is what we've been waiting for."

She looked into my eyes and moved hair out of my face. "Okay. While you were in a coma I've been training non-stop. Guards will be here at the pack. I'm taking Lucy and our best fighters." She kissed me hungrily and said, "I love you."

"I love you too. Be safe, please."

"I will." She kissed me hard again and kissed down to my mark and sucked on it. I let out a loud moan and she looked at me.

"I won't be gone long. Get better, train and if I need you, I'll mind link you."

"Alpha, we're ready." Lucy said.

Karen nodded and kissed me once more. "I love you pretty woman."

"I giggled and replied, "I love you too, stubborn woman."

She smiled and Lucy ran over to give me a hug. "I missed you Rachel." I hugged her back and told her, "I missed you too."

She pulled away and left, with Karen following right behind her.
