Phoenix laid boredly on the couch, flipping through channels to see if anything interesting was playing. Zander was reading through a book with Ezlyn laying on his chest, purring quietly, he didn't mind the cat since she liked him more than his twin.

Luka laid by Phoenix, playing boredly with their mate's hair, he watched as how his twin was reading and their mate was watching TV.

"Zander?" Luka looked over at his twin, noticing him petting the gray cat.

"Yes, Luka?" His twin answered with an annoyed tone. "What is it?"

"How about we go out for a while, just you and I?" He looked down at Phoenix.

"What should I do meanwhile?" Phoenix asked looking up at Luka, a bit worried.

"You could have some you time, you know, get away from us." Luka smiled.

"More like away from Luka's dick." Zander bluntly said out loud, earning a glare from his twin brother.

"Hey! That was offensive!" Luka pouted, hiding his face in Phoenix's neck.

"Well, it is true, you're hornier than I am." Zander went back to reading his book.

"It would be nice to go back to my place for a while, I haven't been there for a month." Phoenix brushed his messy hair back looking at the twins. "So what are you two going to do?"

"Maybe visit the pack for a while? I don't know." Luka mumbled softly against their mate's neck.

"Oh okay, we have the final exams coming up soon guys... We need to study for it soon."

"I have already arranged a study time-" Zander was about to finish, only to be rudely interrupted.

"Boring!" Luka smirked at his twin.

"Don't start what you cannot finish Luka." The older twin sent a glare to his younger twin. "We can start this Monday if possible."

"Sounds good to me." Phoenix nodded as he got up from Luka's embrace. "I'm going to pack my stuff to stay the night at home."

Zander got up, gently holding Ezlyn who was purring in his arm. "Be careful on your way home."

Phoenix nodded and went to pack some of his belongings, along with Ezlyn.

Ezlyn sniffed around the new area, her tail swishing side to side with curiosity. "Alright, looks like I have to go grocery shopping later today."

She meowed softly and walked over towards him, gently nuzzling his leg, soon knocking was heard by the front door catching his attention.

"Who could that be?" He questioned walking towards the door with the feline following, as a protective cat she was.

He opened the door, looking straight into the person's eyes. "Father... " He said lowly, his gaze turning into a glare.

"Phoenix, where have you been for the past two weeks? I've been coming here, looking for you." His deep voice sent chills down his youngest son's spine.

"I, uh... Been studying by my friends' place." Phoenix fumbled for words, looking away from his father.

"Lies... That scent was you with-- Werewolves?!" Dagen glared deeply at his youngest son. "I can't believe you're with werewolves!"

"Father, lower your voice." He lowered his head, typing something on his phone behind his back. "I think it's best you leave, I can't have you here right now."

Ezlyn hissed noticing the tension in the air, protectively standing in front of her owner.

"I'm not leaving here without an explanation, and you better get that cat away from me or I'll teach it its place." Dagen stepped forward earning another hiss from Ezlyn, she swished her tail in irritation before pouncing at him.

"Ezlyn!" Phoenix's eyes widen as he tried to grab the cat, his father yelled in pain, shortly kicking the cat away. "That fucking cat! Why'd you name it after your mother?!"

Phoenix gently picked up Ezlyn, holding her close to his chest. "Stay away from her and me! Leave now, father!"

"Phoenix!" A familiar voice came from outside, Zander.

"Who was that?!" Dagen glared at his son, slowly inching towards him.

Soon Zander and Luka walked into the doorway. "Leave him alone!" Luka growled, getting ready to tackle him but his older twin stopped him, Zander grabbed the older male by his shoulder and pulled him back away. "Move or else..."

"Fine... Phoenix we need to talk." Dagen sighed softly.
