is an ancient saying amongst witches; There is no Starting at the Beginning.
No witch started alone, not even the first. Assistance was always there, from Nature, from grimoire's, or from Elders. Every time there is something to push a witch to their full potential, and so there was never a starting line or the beginning for a witch.
Just a moment, one of realization. Where they realized what they were, how strong they were, and just who they could truly trust.
Davina believed this was that moment, a moment where she realized who she could trust and just how strong she was.
Her hand was holding onto the corner of the door, her eyes glued to the figure stood just outside the threshold.
The Blonde Mikaelson, who's hands rested on either side of the door frame. Her eyes were half lidded, and a dark look to her surrounding.
Whatever magic was inside Mazeki right now was erupting, standing out to whatever it could reach as she stared at the petite Teenager.
"You said you were leaving town, imagine my surprise when I still felt your magic." The woman wondered rehotorically, her disappointment not hard to miss in her words. She expected- wanted more from Davina.
"I thought you said I wasn't going to make it." Davina rebutted, crossing her arms over her chest as she rose a brow to the confusing woman.
The blonde glared back, leaning in as far as the threshold allowed. "You Davina Claire, are supposed to do better then my expectations of you not simply succumb to them."
"I'm trying, it kinda hard to get out of a city of Vampires and Witches on the search for my head." Davina sneered, just as frustrated with the situation as Mazeki seemed to be at the moment.
Silence over took them, the only sound to either of them being Davina's heart beat that had picked up exceptionally during their short conversation. The heretic bit the edges of her tongue, her eyes softening as she noticed how tired Davina seemed behind it all.

Opening her arms up slightly, she tilted her head in question; curious to know if Davina would take her up on the silent offer.
The Teenager stared at the blonde Original for a moment, she too faltering as she noticed just how worried it seemed that the woman had been.
Quickly running through the door frame, she leapt in to Mazeki's simple embrace. Her arms wrapped around the taller woman's shoulders and her face pressed into her collar, as Mazeki's arms slipped around her middle.
"Perhaps it time we put both our minds together?" She suggested.

street was bustling, people everywhere with masks to cover up their secrets. They were closed in a cramped space despite being outside and it made it harder to think.
Mazeki wasn't one for thinking aloud, she solved problems in her mind and in silence so no one ever saw her doubt. However this caused it to be difficult for her to think when there was any noise beyond breathing.
Davina walked in a quickened place, looking around skittishly as she adjusted her mask on her face. She could feel the blonde's arm brush her own every so often as though she were checking to make sure the brunette witch was beside her still. "There's people everywhere."
Cami power walked on the other side of Mazeki, looking around with all her senses on edge. There was to many things coming to light, and she felt as though her mind was about to explode."Just keep walking, no one knows it's you."
"Cami-" Davina was cut off by the sight of a well known hybrid Kjng appearing from a crowd, he looked around clearly searching for her. Her breathing stopped, feeling her heart sink as the realization of Mazeki's words played in her mind.
I do not think you'll succeed.

Cami's eyes widened upon noticing Klaus, the memories of just how many things he got rid of and how much pain she endured to get them back. It was a pain unimaginable, one she could still feel stinging in her veins. "We have to get off this street." The blonde bartender decided, looking over at Mazeki and Davina.
The witch stared up at Mazeki, her eyes wide with fear and concern. The Mikaelson woman could hear the pounding of the teens heart and the shaking of her hands. Her brother was causing this, her brother was at fault, which meant she too was at fault for Davina's pain.
Quickly grabbing Her shoulders, Mazeki looked down into her eyes sternly. "Hey, Hey. I got It alright, Stay with Cami." She gestured behind herself at the bartender, before quickly removing herself from the two as to meet up with her family.
"You don't like festivals?" Klaus wondered rhetorically, raising a brow at the suspicious duo.
Coming up from behind, Mazeki tucked her hands into her pant pockets while announcing her presence to the lot. "Festivals are for children and the Elderly, its why you enjoy them Nikkie." She came up on his side, smirking at him.
Much like her elder sister, Rebekah quickly appeared with her own thoughts in mind on the lovely festival going on around them. It truly set the scene "I don't see why not. Who doesn't love a street fair?"
"Me. If you want to gather a crowd, hang someone." The eldest Mikaelson Woman spoke flatly, no lie in her words.
Rolling his eyes, Klaus grabbed onto his elder sisters shoulder. "Mazeki, As much as you know I enjoy you little drivels, now isn't the time." Dropping his hand he turned to his youngest sibling."Sister, come to help us find our stray?"
The blonde smiled serenely at his comment, clearly annoyed by her half brother. "We can't let your secret weapon get in the wrong hands, can we?"
"For the record, we're moments away from retrieving her." Klaus remarked, making Mazeki's eyes snap towards him with a worried looked to her. How close was Klaus talking?
"I recognize that tone of voice, Niklaus. Clearly you have some diabolical machination. What is it?" Klaus smirks as retort, leaving the question unanswered as he quickly took a pointed leave in search of his secret weapon.
Elijah looked over to his little sister, watching her eyes narrowed on the moving figure of their half brother. She was waiting, timing the perfect moment to slip past each and all of them to get back to what Elijah assumed was a little witch."Go." He muttered, not looking at her as to not alert the people around them."Now, before your late."
"I want my spells." She snipped, glaring at the side of his face with her hands tucked in be pockets as though her tone wasn't meant to be a threat.
Elijah turned his head, meeting her narrowed gaze. "I'll retrieve them."
"So you did take them. How fucking predictable." She hissed, before noticing the small aura of danger lurking over them all. Huffing loudly, the heretic took a step back while pointing at the suited vampire."If you betray me Elijah, so help me, the devil will shy away from what's gonna happen to you."
