"So I'm going to stand here? What makes you sure anyway that he's going to pass this way? Nina asked Bryan as she stared at the cage that was set on the ground.

"We will make sure that he will see you. The message I have received today said that he will probably be here tomorrow night. The plan is, we will wait for him, ambush him and guide her towards you. Nix have already placed the spell on the cage." He said. Nina walked closer to the cage, the magic that was placed on it is pretty strong.

"We must not be at ease. We still need to think about the many unexpected things. Anything could go wrong Bryan. Even though we prepared everything the outcome is still unsure" Nina looked at tha cage again. She still couldn't believe her sister has some hidden magic. It was cool by the way.

But the real question is could it hold Adonis? He's so big and strong that she's afraid that the cage would not be enough to hold him she then looked at her hand, the vial is in her hand, the small amount it has will be the key to bring Adonis back, she just hope he recognize her.

"Don't worry we will do everything we can." Bryan said as he hug her from behind and he kissed her shoulder, Nina sighed and he faced him, she then kissed him in his lips.

"After this, i want to eat some burger. I think i'm craving for one." She said, after she said that, she noticed that Bryan suddenly tensed before he relaxed again, he nods his head and then he kissed her.

"Oh! Cravings! Why are you having cravings?" Nina was startled by the voice of Author who appeared out of nowhere.

"Uh....hey!" She smiled at her and wave her hands, Author did the same and checked the cage that was placed under the ground like a trap, she then released a low whistle.

"Magic, the same thing that ruins you and your brother's relationship" Author said, Bryan growled at her.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, Author then showed them a book with an empty page.

"I need to write down history, this will be written down and will be remembered by so many people." She smirked at them.

"Did you also write about the history of the old Blood shed pack?" Nina suddenly asked curious, Bryan held her closer to him.

"Yes, i was here the day that they faced their terrible fate, the pack that was once glorious is now nothing but ashes and ruins, i watched how everyone died." Author told them casually as she sat down on one of the big rocks that protruded from the ground.

"If you where there, why didn't you do anything? And was it your job to write down every big events?" Author shook her head, she closed the book and placed it back to the sling bag that she has with her.

"I cannot interfer with anything that have to do with my job. Their doom has long been decided by the Moon the day they decided to go againts her. My job here is to watch, observe and write. If i tried to stop that massacre, the moon goddess would punish me." Author explained, she looked at Nina and smirk at her, she then slowly walked closer to her and she then closed her eyes before she take a long deep breath, after that she opened her eyes.

"You're scent has shifted. There's a soft unrecognazible scent with you." Nina looked confuse. She doesn't understand what was Author talking about.

"What do you mean by that? Do i smell bad?" She asked sniffing herself, but she didn't smell anything, she was then startled when Author placed her hand againts her stomach, she then laughed before looking at Bryan.

"They are strong. Just like you and your brother...hmmm. Very special too. I'm guessing they will be much more greater than you. Shall i congratulate you two?" Bryan growled at Author and then she pulled Nina away from her.

"Stop it!" Bryan said looking angry, he then looked at Nina, who still looked confused

"Oh for fuck sakes!!! You're pregnant okay?! How long will it take for to realize? And the child is growing up too fast. Congratulation Nina! You're a mother of two child! And it's a girl." Author blurted out getting the attention of the others. Bryan and Nina looked shock by her sudden outburst.

"What?" Nina asked as she place her hand on her stomach. Her eyes were wide and it looks like as if she's about to cry, Bryan on the other hand stood motionless as if he doesn't even know what to say, he waited for Nina's reaction.

"You're so cool! Did you have some ultrasound on your hand how did you know that?" Nina said.

"Bitch is that all you gonna say? Hello??? You're pregnant and you're about to face the other father of you're child which is by the way cursed and on a rampage. And the big full moon is tonight so probably you're mate would likely to go bersek and you're there asking if i had an ultrasound on my hand. Girl you could be in danger!" Author said as she wave her hand around the place, but she was ignored by Nina as she looked at her still flat stomach,

She wasn't ready yet to be a mother but by hearing it, a sudden happy feeling bloomed inside her, she suddenly felt proud and happy. So happy. So this is how it felt to be a mother? To be able to carry a life deep inside your womb.

"She's right. You could be in danger." She suddenly looked at Bryan who placed his hand on top of her.

"You could be in danger, you need to go back." Bryan said looking serious, Nina shook her head.

"No, i'm staying here." She said as she she take a step back and she stands her ground.

"Nina please, listen to me. If something goes wrong you could end up hurt and the baby." Bryan said stepping closer to her, she shake her head.

"If something goes wrong you'll be there. And i trust Adonis, i know him. He'll listen to me." She said, looking determined. She doesn't wanna leave afraid that the two would end up killing each other. She knows them, they doesn't like to think clear when they are fighting.

"But-" Before Bryan could finish his setence Nina shakes her head and held his hand.

"No, listen to me.....we need each other, you and i and him needs each other. I need to be here for the sake of you and Adonis, i need to stand her...because I'am your Mate." She said, Bryan looked at her in her eyes and when she gave him her best puppy eyes look he just couldn't resist, he sighed and nods before hugging her and kissing her on her lips

"Fine. Just promise me i told you to run, you run." He said, hugging her tightly.

"Yes"
