《broken-hearted; jeongcheol》11

CHAPTER ELEVEN
or almost a week now, jeonghan stayed in his bed, sulking. ignoring seungcheol and everyone else as well.
soonyoung tried coming in every now and then, but jeonghan would just pull the blanket over his head and ignore him. he knew it was not his fault, but he kept it from him.
if only he knew before he dramatically kissed seungcheol. before he realized how much he did want him, maybe he could have prevented feelings this way...again.
"come on jeonghan...at least eat something..." soonyoung's voice was soft and concerned. still, it changed nothing for jeonghan.
he waited until he heard the door close, then pulled the blanket back over his head. he wiped away the few tears that had fallen again. his room was dark, the only light was the moon shining through his blinds.
he was not even that mad at anyone as much as he was upset with himself, he just kept wondering how stupid he was. how could he put himself through this again?
it was beginning to seem as if every time things were started to brighten up, a dark cloud would start making its way and then down came the harsh rain.
jeonghan stared at his ceiling, seungcheol was constantly calling and texting. he even came over a few times, but soonyoung just told him to give him some space.
seungcheol did not even know why jeonghan was upset. and that is what is bothering him the most. jeonghan just could not bring himself to say it, or even think about it.
"fuck," he lightly hit the floor under him. he backed up so his back was leaned against the edge of his bed. he pulled his ones to his chest and buried his face into them.
there was nothing more in the world that he hated then crying, and he hated seungcheol even more.

as he sat in the navy blue colored room, the vibrations from his phone kept coming. 'are you okay?' 'did I do something?' 'please answer me jeonghan it's killing me' 'I miss you'.
he read them, but he did not once reply. he felt like he was magnet for horrible luck and bad news, he really did begin to fall for seungcheol, and even now he still cares.
he just felt like an idiot, he knew he should have been more skeptical of the situation. but it was nice, nice to have someone like seungcheol cling to him.
three soft knocks were on his door, "jeonghan, im going out with jihoon. I'll bring you back take out." he waited for a bit, no answer.
jeonghan waited till he heard the front door open then shut again, he kept wiping away the tears. he was a complete and utter mess, he barely showered this morning, all week he only wore baggy sweats and gigantic t-shirts.
he grabbed his phone, reading the messages from seungcheol. he was apologizing, even though he doesn't know what he did. still, jeonghan was so upset.
forgot my house key, driving back be there in 20
jeonghan went back and laid on his bed, all he wanted was to just erase his memory, have amnesia or something. he just wanted to forget it all and start over, start fresh.
no jisoo, no seokmin, no seungcheol.
his thoughts were interrupted by distant knocks, assuming it was soonyoung he got up and walked out his room. he walked into soonyoung's room and tried to find his key, but could not. so he just walked and began to unlock the door.
"soonyoung who forgets the key to their do—"
standing in front of him was seungcheol, his hair was not combed in fact it was fluffy and had small curls to it. he was wearing baggy jeans and a sweatshirt.

jeonghan knew he should slam the door in his face and lock it because seeing this boy in front of him was starting to overwhelm him.
without even thinking, seungcheol rushed into the dorm room and shirt the door, as soon as he turned around he wrapped his arms around jeonghan and smashed his lips into his.
"n-no," jeonghan pushed him away, although his body felt colder now.
"what's going on, you literally haven't answered my calls or texts since the night you kissed me, did I do something wrong because you have me freaking the fuck out over here missing you ever—"
"I know seungcheol..." he interrupted the frantic boy standing in front of him. "about your girlfriend."
seungcheol's big chocolate brown eyes widened and his mouth formed a small 'o' shape.
"I don't think we should be...whatever it is we were," he proposed turning his back heading towards his room. "you can let yourself out."
instead of leaving seungcheol ran inside his room right behind him, "wait, let me explain please."
"no seungcheol, just...just leave please. I don't want to hear it, not again. I already know what you're gonna say because I've heard the bullshit before."
seungcheol knew this would happen, from the very beginning he should have just been honest.
"it's not like it mattered, we were just friends anyway. and friends shouldn't get upset over this," seungcheol flinched at his choice of words.
"are you fucking stupid, jeonghan," without realizing it they were standing in the middle of the enclosed room together now. "I lied, it was wrong, but my feelings are sincere for you—"
"I don't care, you knew how I felt before, and I'm so stupid for even considering my feelings for you. cause you're just like him," jeonghan was now standing right in front of seungcheol. his eyes were watery and so were seungcheol's.
"you don't even know the full story, do you think I loved her the way I love you? she isn't even my girlfriend anymore, and you know what? you can't talk shit because you're just as difficult!
you drive me so fucking crazy, do you know how many nights I stayed up thinking about YOU? always wondering, what if I'm wasting my feelings? what if I end up hurt because you don't wanna just trust that I'm so in love with you that it frustrates me?"
"seungcheol you should have just fucking told me and we could have avoided this—"
"just told you? jeonghan you didn't even trust me enough to give me a chance, and when we do make progress shit like this happens." seungcheol felt the warms salty tears dripping off his chin.
"then maybe we shouldn't even be friends."

The Demon King Absolutely Has No Attachments
Welcome to Akoras Online, where the power lies in your hands. This sandbox virtual reality MMO has gained a dedicated community, but it has a catch: those who die in battle have their stats reset. Spending all his time on the server to escape his shut-in life, Kas is the only long-time player with a death counter of 0. However, his social skills are also a big 0, so he's condemned as the cold-hearted “Demon King”. Now, the number of players who actually like him is also 0. (Which is fine. He enjoys the peace and quiet.) However, Kas' dreams of being left alone are banished over and over by challengers with various grievances against him. Among them is Gabriel, the celebrity "Hero" of Akoras, who has just as much time on his hands as Kas. Seriously, Gabriel tries to fight him a lot. It’s getting kind of tiring… Wait, this guy isn’t even in high school yet! The (not-so) idyllic trials of a Demon King and a Hero, with a raging faction war in the background. Now updates on Tuesdays, with the odd chapter in between.

Sweetleaf Cultivation
If you’re reading this. Not cool Dude! Or Dudette. Hashtag Resist. Seriously though, it’s not nice to read other people's diaries. Yes, it's a diary, kind of. The only men who call their diaries journals have an issue with their own masculinity I think. Well, I guess I can’t be too angry, considering if this is in anyone else’s hands I’m probably dead. Or I lost it. I lose stuff a lot. Since you’re here, regardless of the reason, I guess I’ll tell my story, such as it is. I know, why tell my story when I could tell you about the Fall of Killianor, or the story of when Micha the Bold banded together with his underdog group of misfits to destroy the Pallantine Regime. Hell, even the tale of Tulsa and Gran’s star crossed love affair would probably be better. If you don’t think so after finishing this you more than likely have poor taste. Weird taste, at any rate. Hello RR! Welcome to the greatest work of fiction you will ever read! ... .... Did you believe that? Cause its not. At all. This is my first work that I will have published in any fashion, and to be completely honest is more to gain practice for my real story. That is not to say I do not care about it. I do. I will do my best to finish it in, if not satisying, at least a conclusive manner. I will warn you however that updates will be infrequent at best though chapter length will not be under 2000 words. I work third shift currently, and at over 40 hours a week I do not have much time to really devote to this at the moment. I DO have an outline for the novel complete, but currently only about 5 actual chapters written and edited. There will be mistakes, including grammar and continuity, plot holes, etc.. If you see these please either comment or feel free to message me directly, and I will get it updated asap. Aside from a fledgeling authors mishaps, expect to find a somewhat comedic slice of life, with a mish mash of xianxia and western fantasy themes, tropes and the like. There will be some gore, network tv levels of sexuality, and absolutely no harems. There will also be COPIUS amount of swearing and drug use and while I said there would be no harems already he may find people in polyamorous situations. I hope you enjoy this, and as a last aside I beg of you not to rate it super low without justification, and if you give a bad rating please leave an actual review so that i know what I need to work on. *Original cover as of 09/01/20. Mishmash of stock photos and edits. HAVE FUN!

The Burning City
At the end of book one of Jake Kerr's rollicking Guildmaster Thief series, Ralan Miller was looking over a calm city that had withstood a traitorous power struggle by his brother Larsen, the Guildmaster Merchant. In this astonishing second book in the series, Larsen pushes subtlety aside and provokes all-out civil war as he assaults the members of the Harvest Guild. Featuring a rich tapestry of intrigue, politics, secrets, colorful characters, and a complex world where seemingly no one can be trusted, this second book of the Guildmaster Thief series further reveals the compelling secret history of the city state of Ness and its cutthroat guilds. New chapters are released Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Campaign: A Project Starfarer Sidestory
This novel’s lore, story and characters are entirely fictitious. Certain long-standing countries, institutions, organizations, agencies, and public offices are mentioned, but their histories and the characters involved are wholly imaginary. "What will you do with your freedom?"Growing up in a meritocracy, infamous for being lawless, Jordan Astros had been repeatedly asked this question, since times unmemorable. In a society where one's accomplishments and skills were tallied and ranked in order to determine one's standard of living however, Jordan quickly grew to understand that 'freedom,' was a reward earned by accumulating Merit. And so, after his 17th birthday, Jordan departed his Clan's habitat in orbit of Europa to embark on his century-long journey to rise from E-Ranker to S-Rank. And spread his name throughout the Galilean Powers. *** Campaign is a sidestory within its NanoPunk parent series, Project Starfarer. (Yet to be published. Be on the lookout for it!) In which the first transhuman known to humanity, the Starfarer, invokes a plan to seed terrestrial life throughout the galaxy. Campaign takes place around the middle of that timeline and explores the life of a key figure in that universe, Jordan Astros. And explores one of four great nations thriving in the Solar System during that time. A Meritocracy that spans Jupiter and its 79 moons, The Galilean Powers. What you'll find in Campaign: Brutal melee combat in airless and pressurized low gravity environments. A technology based progression system influenced by merit and accomplishments; using tech that's theoretically possible to exist in the near-future. An exploratory perspective of the dozens of Galilean societies, or 'Powers,' from Jordans; and sometimes others', POV. What you wont find: Romance. Harems. An MC who receives shortcuts, handouts, learns things unnaturally fast or has OP plot armor. Jordan is not a special individual. Jordan is not OP and he likely never will be. He's no different than any other citizen in the Galilean Powers and will certainly face as many defeats as he does wins. He'll suffer losses and grow as an individual, while the Powers evolves around him as well. This is semi-hard sci-fi/NanoPunk and takes place in a fictional version of our future solar system. Centered around technology that's plausible in the near-centuries to come. Everything abides by the laws of physics/thermodynamics (As best that I understand them, at least. I'm no scientist.) No artificial gravity, inertial dampeners, teleportation, FTL, or hand-wavy materials will be found in the Project Starfarer universe. Just advanced automation, nanotechnology, cybernetics and AI. Set in the backdrop of space. *I do not own the photo used for the cover*
