《Broken- Kolena》Chapter 12

Noah was sitting with Marcel who was trying to make sure he had this right. "So, if he comes to you will you talk to him and potentially forgive him." He knew that his god son was stubborn but he couldn't blame him at the moment he had every right.
"If he comes to me." Noah agreed despite the fact that he wanted nothing to do with his father he was only doing it for his mother. He couldn't bare to see her unhappy because of something that he could have changed.
"Then maybe you should go somewhere that he can find you." Marcel knew that Kol wanted to talk to all three of his kids separately and that Noah was next on his list. That it wasn't going to be an easy talk and needed to happen on common ground.
"Marcel." Noah groaned he knew that there was something that he wasn't telling him. And he just wanted to know what answer he was trying to get so he could stop beating around the bush.
"You know I'm right kid if you want him to tell you the whole entire truth hiding here is not going to be doing anything for you." Marcel knew that Noah wanted the truth and learn why he did what he did. "You have to be able to talk to him let him tell you things from his side of the story."
"Fine." He knew that he did have a point even though he really wished that he didn't he wished that he could argue otherwise but he couldn't. "Where am i supposed to go?"
Marcel wasn't an idiot he knew that Noah had figured out that he was with-holding information from him, but he needed to get Noah to agree first. "I can arrange a meeting spot for you because he's already texted me asking where you are."
"Ugh?" It was going to happen whether he had a say in it or not. But he had to remember that he was only agreeing with this for his mother.
"Common ground." Marcel knew no matter how much Noah disagreed with it that he was still going to do it anyways.
"Fine." He sighed if he was going to do this it was better to do this in common ground where they couldn't make a scene.
Marcel had to admit one thing it was that all three triplets were as stubborn as they come. "You know you just might be more stubborn than both of your sisters combined."

"I know that already." He definitely knew that he was stubborn more than his sisters in a lot of aspects.
"Alright." He typed something into his phone he really hoped that he went well for the entire families sake. "Go to Rousseau's your dad will meet you there."
"I'm only doing this for my mom" He reminded that was the only reason that he was agreeing to this. He had never wanted to meet his dad.
--
Noah was sitting in the back booth of Rousseau's he was already regretting doing this. He loved his mom more than anything, but he was already regretting coming to do this. "I still don't know why I'm doing this?"
His phone started to vibrate in his pocket he took it out seeing that it was Liv. He did wonder why she was calling him seeing how he was sure that she had things that she wanted to do while they were here. "Yes sister."
"Did Evie call you?" She just wanted to get straight to the point she was confused when her sister had originally called her. And now she was a little pissed and she was sure that her brother could tell by her tone.
"No why?" He could tell that she was upset about something, but he was not sure what it was.
"Dad's wants to talk to all three of us individually." She was not happy with that information she didn't want to talk to him she just wanted him to stay away from her.
"Figured that much." He was sure that his sister had wanted to meet their dad but her tone was now telling her different story.
"Are you going to talk to him?" She knew that Evie had already talked to him and that she was last on the list. But she prayed that Noah bought her some time by refusing to see him.
"Yes, I am meeting with our father in a few minutes." He knew that wasn't the answer she wanted to hear when she groaned. Her whole demeanor had changed in a matter of days and that surprised him.
"You guys' father he is not my father." She didn't care if he was the reason for her life he was not her father she didn't care what anyone said. She would not claim him he didn't deserve it.
"I thought you wanted to meet dad you and Evie were all for it." That had pretty much forced him to get mom to agree not even a few days ago and now she was saying that she didn't want to meet him and that he was not her father.

"No i just wanted to meet him one time and i did i am good. I don't want to know the guy that hurt my mother. So, you guys can meet him, but I'm not interested bye." She didn't need him trying to change her mind it was set.
"I'll talk to you later." He knew that she wasn't in the mood but eventually she would have to deal with it and he hoped that she took everything into consideration.
"Whatever." He hung up putting his phone in his pocket as Kol walked in. It was now or never.
He spotted Noah and walked towards him sitting across from him. Kol was surprised that Noah even showed up he was sure that his son hated him and never wanted to speak to him ever. And would never consider meeting him one on one. "Surprised you came."
"It wasn't for you." He didn't come because he wanted to meet his father. He came for her mother or at least that was what he was going to be telling himself until this was over. "I came because of my mother that is it that is all."
"What do you want to know?" He knew that he had questions, so this was the best time for that.
He wanted to know the truth in what Marcel had already told him if it was true. "Marcel said you were watching us from a distance care to elaborate on that."
"He was right i was. Five years after she left i realized my mistake. My sisters became cold towards me Rebekah wouldn't even look at me." He knew that he had deserved the cold shoulder after what he had done. It was well deserved for his actions. "I have always loved your mom and that will never change. And i realized that her of all people wouldn't lie to me about something like that. So, I had a witch track my own blood. And i got my siblings Hope and you three." He knew that he should have known from the beginning that she wasn't lying she had no reason to. "And i knew that i messed up. I found y'all in New York. I am sorry for everything that i have put all of you i am sorry for not being there. I know that i should have came back. But i wanted to protect you all of you. I knew Davina didn't like any of you she especially didn't like your mother or the fact that you guys existed and after five years there was no way that I could end things with her without her causing a scene." He knew that Davina was already deadly she was dangerous. "Without her potentially hurting on of you guys."
"She could have been easily killed." Anyone could be easily killed.
"Not always New Orleans witches have never been good at staying dead. Ever." Well at least that was part of the reason why he had never showed. He knew that he made the mistake he hurt the one girl that gave him a chance when she knew what his reputation was and that she was risking a lot for something that wasn't going to end well. "I didn't want to risk hurting your mom again not after everything that she went through. She risked everything to be with me to begin with and then i didn't believe her i made her leave."
"If i even think about forgiving you i have two conditions." Noah wanted to make this as clear as possible. If he was going to forgive his father, he needed to make sure that he understood two things. "If we're to even think about being a real family we don't want to know the old you that you were before you met mom, we want to see the one that you were around her. And two you better not ever hurt my mother again or I'll kill you." He was not kidding he was serious he was going to give his father one chance and that was it. "And i wish you luck with Liv because she is not about to be easy to forgive anything. She only wanted to meet you one time."
--

... And My Skillet
A long time ago, a child was born under the great blue sky. Many a Dwarf grumbled at the auspicious event, tugging furtively at their beards at this ill omen. A year later as the expedition had begun digging into the virgin hills of their new home, the grumbling of the doughty mountain people rose to a disbelieving furor when the yearling passed over the ritual offerings that would determine his lot in life. Instead, the as of yet unnamed child crawled over to a skillet fresh out of the fire and begun picking at the rock bread, unconcerned with the heat. Shouts turned into laughter, frowns lifted into craggy smiles. Upon placing a handful of the bread into his mouth, the infant’s face grew so grim and stony not even the eldest of the present Dwarves could match him. There was a durable ore within this babe, of that the Lore Keeper was sure. Yumly Ironhand was thus named, the beginning of his great tale immortalized on the rune walls of his clan’s history. “It’s pronounced Yoom Lee and no, rock bread isn’t a misnomer.”

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre.
