The four of them greeted the guests before walking to the king and queen who smiled looking at them and greeted the father son duo politely who returned their greetings before Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta said "We're just talking about you. Let's go and dance" to which Hima frowned but nodded putting her palm in his.
Once on the dance floor he put his left arm on her back as she held his shoulder with her right hand gently asking "What were you all discussing?"
"You'll know soon" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta replied before twirling her on the dance floor slowly and moved with the song lyrics.
"It seems like you already knew Deva before you came here" Hima stated more than asked.
"We went to same school in Texas" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta answered making her say "You never mentioned that".
"You never asked and there are a lot of things that I didn't mention before" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta stated making her nod.
"The paternity results are out" Hima informed.
"And?" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta asked making her nod "It's true, you and Siva are related. I don't know how but that's your job to find out".
"I already started my investigation and soon will be meeting Ms.Sivatmika's family" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta said.
"It's just.. don't hurt her much, her family is so messed up already" Hima softly said making him search her eyes before slowly nodding.
The hall suddenly turned cold and everyone turned silent as if someone commanded them and heard footsteps and turned their heads in the direction of the sound to see Deva walking inside in a suit like a model from one of those famous model magazines.
"Holy shit!" Hima gasped making Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta roll his eyes at his friend's dramatic entrance from the shadows as the spotlight followed as he walked inside.

"Brother..." Gayatri said happily and side hugged Deva making him pat her shoulder.
"How is Siva?" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta asked.
"Noel shifted her home. There's a change in her condition but it's not enough to say when she'll be up" Deva explained.
"If it isn't for her we don't know what would've happened to our Hima. We'll always be in debt of her" Rani Meenakshi Devi said making the king nod.
"I hope she gets well soon" The king said it like a prayer making the others nod and continued "Thankyou so much for coming. I thought you wouldn't make it today".
"Oh! I wouldn't miss it even if it's the end of the world you see" Deva mocked making them a little confused.
" You had to make that dramatic entry?" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta asked as he stood beside Deva who's alone after greeting the royal family.
"Don't get jealous now dear friend" Deva said and clinked his glass with the prince and drank the Champaign in one gulp.
"Jealous? Anyone could tell I'm the most handsome among us both" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta smirked and took a sip of his drink.
"And yet I'm the most eligible bachelor am I not?" Deva joked as he looked at Hima continued "So..you and Hima huh?"
"Seems like it. But I'm sure she'll hate me once she knows that I'm on your side" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta said making Deva look at his branded wrist watch which has diamond inside the dial with the arrows attached to it.
"Have you turned blind in love that you are forgetting yourself?" Deva snorted.
"Well! Some of us actually care for the people we love unlike you" Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta pointed giving a look to Deva who inturn glared at him.

"You shouldn't involve in my personal matters" Deva reminded him warning clearly evident in his voice.
The noise from the mike made the both of them face forward to see the royal secretariat holding a mike and smiled lightly before starting his speech "Good evening everyone. Firstly! I would like to thank his royal highness for the graceful charity event arranged tonight for the welfare of the people" making everyone clap looking at the king who nodded once while he continued "Now, I would like to invite his royal highness to speak few words".
The king walked forward and took the mike from the royal secretariat while he looked over at everyone once before strated talking "Firstly, thankyou all again for making this event such a big success. The donations reached forty million and it wouldn't have been possible without you all. But tonight is not just about the charity. As you all know there were rumours that the Rayala groups is collaborating with the ASR empire. I wanted to clear that it's not just a rumor and we are going to be partners in the pharmaceutical industry" which made everyone clap as the Raayala family has a proud look on their faces.
"Now I invit Mr.Agasthya Singaraju to talk a few words" The king invited making everyone curiously look around for the king of the business world who keeps political, industrial and economical power in his fist playing the people with his single sign.
The hall turned dark and suddenly the spotlight landed on the entrance to see a person in the suit with his face void of any expression as he looked at the king in the eyes and walked forward towards him as everyone looked at him as if they are seeing a god.

The fallen (?) hero and Aži Dahāka's soul fragment
I have to apologize.A certain real life problem that I thought I got rid of has caught up to me once again.I tried to continue writing, but my mind was not in the right track to do so and thus, as some people had said, the quality of the latest 2 chapters had turned from the usual "bad" to "worst". So, I reluctantly have to say that I will be away until I can sort things out.I can't say when, but I do intend to return to writing. I might lurk around to read other people's works though. I will be turning my attention to stories with "tragedy" and "despair". The five of us were summoned to this world from our clubroom two years ago to be made as heroes.Shouldn't forceful summoning like that be counted as kidnapping?Well, we chose to go with the heroes route. After harsh training and battles, not to mention all the killings, we finally defeated the demon lord. However, all those achievements literally became nothing, it wasn't just forgotten, it was erased to be totally nothing as even the written records were somehow being disposed of. I was too naive. Who would have thought that the side we have been fighting alongside with, the side we were fighting for, was the one to bring our demise? After I had to see everyone else turn into nothingness, somehow... I alone survived. Note: I will attempt to fix the grammar problem with the help of lieutenant colonel fletterman. This may delay the release of future chapter. Chapter 1 is fixed. Chapter 2 is fixed.

A Merchants Tale
Legends rise. Country’s fall. Empires wage war. But what supports these great powers, allowing them to function as a single organism. Is it the common man, Farmers and Millers forming the backbone of the land? The Soldiers and Guards keeping public order? The Wives and Widows supporting from the side-lines? The Nobles from their seats of power? Or the elusive Sorcerers who wield power untold? And what maggots crawl in this great creature, all trying to get a piece of its slowly decaying flesh. The gangs of the Underworld hidden in the shadows? The Bandits and Deserters hiding at the edges, ready to pounce on any weakness? Witches and Warlocks working their dark art? Or other Nations clawing at their neighbour’s, salivating over the riches they stand to gain from another’s demise. There is one group that belongs to neither group. They thrive on others misfortune and bring with them salvation and destruction in equal measure. They can raise a kingdom up or tear it down screaming and kicking. These are the merchants, the lifeblood of kingdoms, because what is the one thing above all else men crave. Is it Love? Power? Destruction? All these things can be acquired with one simple thing. Wealth. Wealth is the true power behind the world. Wealth can buy army’s, strangle kingdoms, and turn even the most devout man from his faith. Merchants come in many forms, shapes and sized, some gaudy, bleeding the people for all their worth, some tricky, preferring to make contracts and debts to trap men. And some desperate, doing all they can to sell even the most worthless of junk. This is a story of one merchant who goes against all a merchant stands for. He works not for profit but for some unseen goal, a prophesy aeons old. He comes and goes like a ghost, bringing with him hope and victory. All pray for his arrival to spare them from despair. But what about when he doesn’t show? What about the people he doesn’t save? For this man is no angel, no saint sent to save the masses. His goal was never to deliver hope. It merely isn’t time for their destruction yet. For nothing is eternal. And all things must end. But what comes after? Quick disclaimer in response to the review I got, this is my first story and somewhat of an experiment for me, hopefully my writing will get better the more I practice. Thanks for any helpful advice :)
