Deva carried Siva upstairs to the now renewed king's chambers and placed her on the bed while everyone followed them upstairs and soon Maniamma bought the first aid box tensed and handed it to Deva who wore gloves and tried to hold her feet but Siva immediately pulled back wincing.
Deva gaze cut to hers sharply making her say "I don't want you to treat me. Umm.. Veronica if you don't mind can you do the first aid" looking at Veronica who looked between her senior and Siva before nodding.
Veronica wore gloves and started the first aid making Siva wince time to time making Deva say "If you think I'll extend your paid leave you are so wrong" making her roll her eyes.
"Don't you worry sir I'll join work from day after tomorrow and I already completed most of my pending works by sitting at home" Siva explained proud of herself.
"What are you talking Deva? She's hurt and you want to talk about work now.." RK scolded.
"Ask him like that uncle. I'm here hurt and lieing on bed and he's after firing me" Siva said innocently.
"And whose fault is that?" Deva countered back making her pursue her lips.
"It's not like I wanted to get hurt I had a reason for walking on the hot charcoal" Siva tried to defend herself as Veronica bandaged her feet.
"Shut up" Deva snapped and threw the file at her making her startle as he ordered "Prepare a report on the Rocketry deal and fax it to ASR's assistant. If I don't make you work you'll go and do something like this again" and left to his study making her bite her lip and looked at the file in her hands.
"Siva please don't mind him. All you need now is rest just do whatever pending works you have after you recovered" RK said and patted her shoulder before going out followed by everyone bidding her goodnight before retiring to their rooms.

It was one'o clock after midnight when Deva returned to the king's chambers and saw the food cart still full with bowls and Siva sleeping with her head leaning onto the headboard with her MacBook in her lap and file he threw at her beside her.
He closed his eyes controlling his anger and slowly took a deep breath and exhaled like it was really suffocating to breath. He took the MacBook and opened it to see the report is almost done and sent the email to ASR's assistant before locking it and put it on the side table along with the file.
He sat infront of her and threw the pillow in her lap onto the bed and moved closer to her rounding his arms around her waist and held her neck with his free hand and lightly moved her head making her groan and open her eyes to come face to face with him. They both looked into each other's eyes as he pulled her close making her gasp and sit straight which made their noses touch.
"You make me so mad" Deva whispered making her blink twice before looking down with her head bent down mumbling "Sorry...".
He pressed his lips to her forehead making her still as her breathing increased while they just sat there for a few seconds before he pulled back and bought the plate to her making her give it to him saying "Join me" which made him serve himself in other plate and both of them had their dinner.
"Umm... what's so special about Veerapuram that Mr.ASR gave you the deal?" Siva asked.
"Someone special to him actually" Deva said making her think a bit then widened her eyes as if she realised something.
"Holy God is he in lo-" Before she could complete her sentence he cut her off "We don't need to discuss others lives in our marital bed" making her shut up.

Rogue Dungeon: A LitRPG Adventure
From James A. Hunter, author of Viridian Gate Online and War God's Mantle! Check out my first attempt at a Dungeon litRPG Novel! Roark von Graf—hedge mage and lesser noble of Traisbin—is one of only a handful of Freedom fighters left, and he knows the Resistance’s days are numbered. Unless they do something drastic … But when a daring plan to unseat the Tyrant King goes awry, Roark finds himself on the run through an interdimensional portal, which strands him in a very unexpected location: an ultra-immersive, fantasy video game called Hearthworld. He can’t log out, his magic is on the fritz, and worst of all, he’s not even human. Now, he’s a low-class, run-of-the-mil Dungeon monster. Some disgusting, blue-skinned creature called a Troll. At least there’s one small silver lining—Roark managed the grab a powerful magic artifact on his way through the portal, and with it he might just be able to save the world after all. Unless, of course, the Tyrant King gets to him first …Hey everyone, so as most of you know, I write books for a living, and I just put this title up on Amazon (and enrolled it in KU). Because KU requires exclusivity as part of their terms of service, I have had to pull the majority of the content from this site. I left the full novel up for as long as possible, so I hope everyone got a chance to read it. If you haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety (sorry!) you can pick it up on Amazon. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me, and I so hope you enjoyed it. The book will be out on Tuesday July 24th. Best, James Hunter
