With a quick read of the bio and the information of the tutor, Jungkook expanded the picture over his screen and took a good look at Park Jimin. The young man stared in silence as he pushed his glasses up to tilt his own head to the side. “Park Jimin…” Jungkook whispered to himself and slowly pointed his own attention down to the exact location Jimin was in currently. “Osaka, Japan? Oh he's so far away…” The young man mentioned and couldn't help but to wonder how it would feel like to have this handsome, smart, and adventurous man as his tutor. “Maybe we can video chat and get lessons done like this... I think I do need a tutor after all…”
As positive thoughts filled the boy's mind, he moved the cursor of the mouse from his laptop over the tutor's private messages. Slowly, he smiled to himself while looking into Jimin's picture with such an intriguing smile. He had to admit it, Park Jimin was a very handsome man and a little doubt from the corner of his own mind whispered that maybe Jimin would never have time for him due to many girls just pelting after the tutor and probably faking it to have some time with him. “He'll never have time to tutor me… Surely, Mr. Park Jimin would only tutor me when he has his student by his side to do it in groups… But why do I expect so much more from him? I don't know him at all… He could be some idiot who thinks this is a dating site! Look at that daring picture of him… He doesn't look like he came on here to teach anyone…” Jungkook whispered to himself. With such thoughts, his doubts finally got the best of him.
“I'm wasting my time… Why would I ask a stranger for help? He could be someone different in real life and as soon as I switch on the video call for our first lesson, he could be some old man!” Jungkook bickered to himself. He went on and on about the odds defying against him. Alas, Jungkook just didn't feel like this was a good idea. He desperately needed a tutor, but finding one online seemed to be his last call.
Jungkook closed his laptop shut and walked to his small kitchen. By there, he opened a small wooden pantry where his eyes fell onto instant, spicy, ramen beef, noodles. Jungkook barely made food at home for himself, so he relied on frozen or instant meals to fill his hunger. It wasn't home cooked meals, but it was at least something. He remembered home cooked meals and his mother's happy smile just across the kitchen as she finds him already seated right next to his brother and father. Of course, he didn't want to go back to days like that. Here under Jungkook's own roof, he had his own freedom to decide what he wanted to do. It was the only portion of his life he had advantage of.

As Jungkook boiled water and stared at his pack of dry ramen noodles within the plastic container, he thought back at times when he would remain seated at the table before his family to hear only talks of how he was just destined to be the doctor in the family. Of course, Jungkook had no path and had no goal. As soon as his parents decided for him, he followed in on their plan. Not really complaining much then. As Jungkook snapped back into reality, he poured the boiling water into the container of ramen and closed the lid in with his black, steel, chopsticks. There, Jungkook waited longer and endured his own roaring stomach competing with the loud clash of thunder outside like cymbals. Now, Jeon Jungkook didn't even take a second to think back at what happened outside on his way home, he only thought of it as his hunger making him see things.
Either way, Jungkook's mind was filled with the thought of the tutor. He wondered deep down if Jimin could really help him with his college work. No matter how many times he thought otherwise, his focus always referred back to the laptop sitting over the couch. “I'll just… send him a message. There's no way Professor Lim would give me a website address to trick me! He only wants to help and I'm sure tomorrow he would put me in the spotlight for rejecting a perfect offer.” Jungkook thought about the future bad grades he pictured receiving if he didn't make his move now. He was rather shy to open his own laptop up but as soon as his eyes fell onto the picture of Jimin's profile, he let out an exhale and finally clicked over to the private messaging.
Jungkook was on his way to have Jimin as his tutor, but as soon as he clicked, he had to sign up as a student. “Fuck… Ugh!” Jungkook hissed and after an endless session of verification and creating an account, Jungkook chose a quick picture of himself yet, he made sure it was his best picture. He just couldn't think of having a bad picture compared to Jimin. Jungkook was a very shy boy and finding a good picture of himself to send Jimin a message with, was one of the toughest things he had to do for the night. “T-This one… I'll go with this picture…” Sputtered the man into a whisper. Now, anxiety substituted his hunger for this very moment.

Jungkook's heart began to pound and his hands began to sweat. “Why am I getting so nervous right now…?” Whispered the young man to himself and backed up, leaving the screen of the laptop on the conversation. “What if he doesn't want to tutor me? He must have so much students… B-But I can't tell him no right now… I need a tutor and he's the only one I went to out of everyone. P-Please tutor me…” Jungkook went on and on in his mind until his phone went off, reminding him his noodles were ready. With the sound of his timer going off, Jungkook carefully paced away from the laptop and awaited Jimin's message.
As the boy walked over to the kitchen, he couldn't seem to peel his eyes away from the screen while grabbing his cup of instant noodles. “Who am I kidding… a guy like that would never have time. Imagine how much students he must be tutoring! And I… Am no different. I chose him for his looks and intelligence through a simple bio. I could be just like those girls or boys growing desperate for someone as handsome as he! Jimin won't take me serious!” Jungkook panicked to himself as he sat in front of his own table by himself to eat his noodles. He calmed himself down and the many thoughts that doubted him at that very moment.
Meanwhile, a young man with light brown hair stood in a wide spaced bedroom that was dimmed all around him. He stood by the closed curtain window alone wearing a white dress shirt with the very first four buttons completely undone, and a pair of black slacks hugging the lower half of his muscular body. The man had a very serious demeanor; his eyes fixed onto the glass of red wine he moved around while his other hand was shoved into the pockets of his black slacks. There he stood in the baby blue room with a white-cream colored bed that had a see-through tent right over the four pillars of the neatly, made, bed.
The man pressed his plump lips over the rim of the wine glass and began to drink the cold wine out of it. By there, he rolled his brown locks back and finally set the glass down for the night. This man was no one other than Park Jimin himself. His charming appearance was just like the picture he had of himself on his profile. No need for enhancements there. As the man stood before the red closed windows to the outside, he finally stepped back and approached his laptop before reaching over to the nightstand and pushed his own rectangular glasses over his doe eyes.
“Let's see if I have any new students…” Jimin whispered into his raspy voice due to the cold wine sliding down his throat. As the man lifted the lid to his own MacBook air, his eyes fixed onto the screen of his Tutor page dashboard. Within seconds, he noticed that there was a new message right over his own inbox. He didn't take a moment too soon to open the inbox after and as soon as he did, he noticed it was a new user by the name of Jeon Jungkook. Jimin didn't even seem to bat an eye over at Jungkook's picture and only seemed to focus on his name and message. That's all that mattered to the young man there.
“Jeon Jungkook… Lucky for you, I'm available at the moment…” Jimin whispered and slowly brought his hands down to type into the keyboard. With each letter he typed across the keyboard; veins popped up along the top of his own hands.
Only moments after, Jungkook was still finishing off his cup of ramen noodles when his laptop chimed with a message from the tutor. For Jungkook, the shy boy left the screen on the conversation so as soon as Jimin sent that message, it was marked as read from Jungkook. The young man flinched and cut the noodles with his own teeth as he slurped in the remaining before pointing his four eyes to the laptop sitting over the couch. “H-He replied back? At the same hour?” Jungkook questioned and looked at the time before standing up and rushing over to answer the man.
Jungkook's face grew red as his eyes focused onto the messages to re-read them over and over again in his own head. “Jimin wants a video chat? I-I don't know if I look too good right now to do it!” Jungkook thought and cleared his throat. “It’s just a simple video chat. I don't need to show my face at all! I'll do it once and hide my face from the camera.” Jungkook assured his anxiety through these thoughts alone and finally pushed himself to respond to Jimin.

With that last message, Jungkook's screen grew blue and Jimin's profile popped up to show as the caller ID through video chat within the website. Almost instantly, Jimin called and this nearly gave Jungkook a heart attack before finally gathering enough courage to exhale and guide his mouse over to the accept button. Without further ado, Jungkook finally accepted the call and met eyes with the charming tutor's face right before the boy through his own screen for the very first time.
