《Uninvited | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 9: Devious Smiles

Jungkook didn't know what time was it now nor did he know how long the video chat was. He was completely swept away by Jimin's daring looks that made his raspy and gentle voice a bonus! It was like every word the older tutor said, made Jungkook feel so special towards Park Jimin. Every sentence, every technique and strategy Jimin used, Jungkook followed and wrote it down on his notes as Yoongi was still staring at Jungkook. It was no secret that now, Yoongi wanted to know Jungkook more than he ever did before. He sought this moment to know the young boy more. On the other hand, his mood was completely killed off by Jimin; interrupting the moment they had together. Yoongi seemed to grow jealous now.
“Alright Jungkook, I haven't been paying attention to the time, but it looks like we're done for the day. Did you learn at least a few new things? Did you get it through your little head?” Jimin wondered and removed his glasses to look at the boy.
“Y-Yes! Yes I learned much more this time! You should be a teacher, Jimin.” Jungkook spoke out as the older rose his left brow. “Mr. Park!”
“I love my job and tutoring seems easier.” Replied the older as he took a second to think to himself. “Jungkook… Do I seem mean to you?”
“No, you're reasonable.” Answered the boy as a scoff followed after. “Mr. Park, you aren't mean. You're just strict like an old man!”
“Don't-”
“-Humor me, I know Mr. Park. I was only playing around. But, I think when you want respect, you turn very mean at some point.” The younger claimed as Jimin leaned back against his chair; observing the boy before him. He paid attention to every little detail Jungkook had and held such a devious smile in his own mind. Jungkook couldn't tell what went on in Jimin's mind, but oh boy did he want to be the only thing wandering in Jimin's thoughts. Jungkook wanted to be a picture Jimin would paint over and over again in the older man's mind, the boy wanted to be every song Jimin listened to so his mind wouldn't stop thinking of Jeon Jungkook. The boy was young, naive, and madly crushing on the man beyond the screen for his intelligence, smiles, gentle ways and the looks were packed with a bonus. “Why are you staring at me...like that? Did I say something wrong?”
“No, you didn't… You're perfect, Jungkook.” Jimin added and let out a chuckle to himself. “I think I should be nicer to you… even when you want to know a few things of me. Do you feel bad when I turn your questions down?”
“Yes… I'd like it if… We got to know each other better.” Jungkook said softly and looked down at his index fingers pressing against their own fingertips. “Maybe… We can also be friends…”
“Boy, what makes me so special to you?” Jimin questioned as Jungkook looked up. From there, Yoongi could see every red tint of blush over the younger boy's cheeks. The man sitting up on the covers over the ground; stared at Jungkook with such interest, Jungkook didn't even seem to notice it since his attention was only drawn onto Jimin.

“You seem very… interesting to me. I always wanted to know more than the things you told me before… Can I get to know the real you? I want you to know about me too… We can be friends. Can we, Mr. Park?” Jungkook almost hesitated saying things like this as he kept his eyes onto Jimin's.
“Jungkook… Do you like me?” The man suddenly questioned as Jungkook grew silent within seconds. “You're so cute. No wonder you want to be my friend! In that case, let's be friends. You can know all about me… But not now. You need to sleep now.” Jimin replied to the boy and Jungkook noticed that Jimin took the student's feelings as nothing. Jimin didn't pay too much attention to it and only brushed it off as a joke; something Jungkook was relieved to hear at least.
“I-I don't like you, Mr. Park. I only want to be your friend.” As soon as Jungkook said those words, Jimin couldn't keep his smirk to himself as his eyes scanned from the black locks of Jungkook's hair, to his red and pouty lips into a form of a cloud.
“Then let's be friends, Jungkook. However, we keep this friendship and our tutoring separate. You still have to address me as, Mr. Park. Understand? I don't like repeating myself, Jungkook.” Advised the man as Jungkook nodded his head desperately. “I know I said I'm not a texter… But for you, I'll do it. Text me whenever you want to talk. Yet, I'd rather introduce myself through the sounds of our voices exchanging.”
“Got it… Thank you again, Mr. Park!” Jungkook thanked Jimin and with that, The boy hung up and smiled to himself happily. Eventually, those happy smiles; erupted into gleeful squeals he began to shout into a pillow by his side. All was going so well for Jungkook as Yoongi was faking his sleep; hearing their conversation and keeping his own hands gripping into the covers underneath his body.
By the following week, Jungkook has felt like Jimin and himself really clicked. At nights in Yoongi's house, Jungkook would stay on the phone with Jimin for hours until their tutoring lesson; yet, Yoongi would never stay to listen. The man took time off everyday after school to get coffee with Jungkook and invite him over, but it was the same with Jungkook. As soon as he arrives to Yoongi's house, he begins to text Jimin or even call him! Altogether, they shared their love for ballad music, love for pictures, adventures, and movies as well. It was a dream come true for Jungkook, Jimin was perfect, charming, and there was never a moment where Jungkook thought wrong of his tutor. Even if through texts and calls Jimin seemed different to the strict and professional, Mr. Park through the screen everyday.
Jungkook woke up in Yoongi's room once again. After a week, he has been staying with the man and so far, the anonymous figure hasn't found him ever since. It was off for him to think that a stranger gave up looking since it couldn't track Jungkook down. As Jungkook sat up, he noticed Yoongi was sitting over the edge of the bed, watching Jungkook sleep as he adjusted the sweater over his own body. Jungkook never found anything off about the older towards Jimin; in fact, Yoongi never gave off a frown when Jimin's name was uttered from Jungkook's lips. As a good friend, Yoongi nodded his head and smiled to everything that was said about the tutor. On another note, this still didn't prevent Yoongi from staring at Jungkook before him, slowly fall for the young boy before his eyes.

It was only natural for Yoongi to feel this way eventually. He didn't know for how long he felt like this reaching back in highschool when he just knew Jungkook as a face in the crowd, but now… He protected Jungkook and made the boy felt safe. Even if Yoongi was a good friend towards Jungkook, he was always hidden under the shadow of Park Jimin. Just seen as someone to go to when the young student feared being stalked again.
“Five people..” Yoongi spoke with a bland and emotionless voice late in the afternoon Jungkook slept in. But hearing this from Yoongi just made Jungkook tilt his own head.
“Five… Who?” The boy inquired as he watched Yoongi stand up from the bed and fold his arms before facing Jungkook.
“Five people missing as of just last night. Scary isn't it? You haven't been complaining about a stalker for a week. That means he finally left you alone! Living here with me as I protect you, isn't that better?” Yoongi then scoffed into a smile himself. “Are you going to stay here tonight? There's always room for you..”
“Since that thing hasn't been watching me in my sleep for quite some time… I think it's best if I finally go home today. Thank you for having me here, Yoongi.” Jungkook stated and sat up to see the clock flashing, ‘3:46 PM.’ “We should get to class sooner or later.” Jungkook stood up after claiming that and noticed Yoongi was silent. “Are you okay?”
“Of course, I was just thinking if my mother would visit today.” Yoongi thought but his mind seemed elsewhere at the moment. He always seemed to hide his suspicious actions at any given time. “Forget about it, let's go to school.” Yoongi interrupted his own words and began to walk outside of the room while Jungkook sat up, making sure before he took a nap, he was to dress up and get ready for the day. Sleeping in a black sleeved sweater, blue jeans and white socks to put on his white sneakers.
The two eventually took a silent ride to Yonsei University where they both had Calculus. Earlier, Yoongi had history in the morning, and Jungkook had science. Now, they had Professor Lim to attend to. Once they arrived, Jungkook noticed that Yoongi walked closer to him to make sure he wasn't out of his sight even once. “Yoongi takes protecting me… To another level.. I should be grateful…” Jungkook spoke in his own mind and kept staring at the older until he got his attention.
“Is there something wrong, Jungkook?” Yoongi questioned as Jungkook shook his head after. “Are you sure?” The boy nodded after. Yoongi wasn't sure what got into the young student, but if he was told to protect, Yoongi was going to do so no matter what. Just then, Yoongi grabbed Jungkook's hand and guided him to the classroom. This left Jungkook to tilt his head. He was confused of how Yoongi promised to protect him even when they walked inside the safe campus.
“Good morning, Jungkook and Yoongi. You both seem close!” Professor Lim spoke up and fixed a few papers over his desk. As soon as he said those words, Jungkook pulled his hand back from Yoongi's grasps.
“We are.” Yoongi replied. Jungkook shyly walked over to his seat and Yoongi walked by his side the whole time and dropped onto the seat by him. “Really close friends!”
“Mhm... Oh! Jungkook I almost forgot, I managed to get you an internship program at a hospital. All you need to do is sign this forum and turn it in at their desk. It's an amazing opportunity for a boy like you to become a doctor.” The professor offered Jungkook an opportunity as the young student shot his head up and left his sash bag with his phone, over the desk. Jungkook made his way to the teacher as Professor Lim took out the forums Jungkook needed to sign for the internship, but as he did so, Jimin texted the boy.
“Thank you so much, Professor Lim! I will be sure to check the internship out, soon!” Jungkook responded and read over the requirements to be in the program. It should be noted that Jungkook's phone was right on the desk; right where Yoongi sat. The overprotective friend slowly glided his eyes over to Jungkook's phone and read the messages Jimin sent.

“Big news…” Yoongi whispered to himself and swiped the messages away before Jungkook could look back at the older sitting at the desk. “What makes you so special when it comes to Jungkook?” Bickered the man and scoffed to himself. “Jimin… You're bad news for him. You and I know that very well already.” Yoongi thought in his head and carried a devious smile to himself. “Hey, Jungkook! Let's celebrate tonight!”
“You want to go out and drink?” Jungkook giggled into a reply and lowered his own voice but, the professor heard them clearly. Yet, he only chuckled and continued to file work. “Alright, we should drink tonight! An internship like this doesn't come so freely on it's own.” Jungkook answered and finally came back to sit right by Yoongi; checking his lock screen to see that Jimin didn't text him at all for the morning like he usually does. Not really noticing that Yoongi was the one that cleared his notifications before he returned to his seat.
