A few things, but among them- I love dystopian stories, and also I believe my sister had actually given me the idea of the devices that the people use to make decisions in their society.

Since I'm still writing it, I still encounter struggles along the way (as is expected for writing any story!) and my main one is figuring out the little technicalities and complexities of certain things such as their society and how it is managed, life in the prison, etc. Also, it is not easy to map out the future events of the story and such because of how difficult Alex's situation is.

I honestly love the characters, and getting to establish and develop them! So much fun :)

I've had great feedback so far! A lot of people really enjoy the storyline and the characters, especially the protagonist Alex. Several people have said that they like that it isn't cliché and is unique!

I would say that the main message of the story is that you and your strength are enough to make a difference, and it is so important to stand up, use your voice, and fight for what you believe in and what is right. Of course there are other important [smaller] messages throughout as well, like never losing hope and being a leader.

The best piece of advice I could give would be to make sure that whatever it is you are
writing, you are passionate about it!! Because you are the only one who can give your
story life, emotion, and truth (in the actual telling of it at least).
Oh yes, absolutely! Alex is really based off of myself and a lot of my qualities- notably the strong will, ambition, and refusal to give up on what is important. In some certain scenarios though she is so incredibly brave and strong, and I'm not sure if I'd be the same- I definitely admire her character in that way!

The storyline is unique and so are the characters! Also, the characters are carefully designed and I intend to have great character development. :)

Definitely the next book! And maybe another book in the series? I'm not totally sure yet, but I'm excited to see where this series goes!!

Valor and Violence
Valor and Violence is a series of short stories following different, yet all equally colourful, characters set in the same world. Birth of a Legend, the first short, follows Captain Erskine Erwell, a newly promoted Captain in the Calandorian Royal Navy, charged with protecting his people from all who would do them harm. Great news for the Calandorian citizens, bad news for the Skjar reavers that ravage the shores in search of slaves. If he can't find allies in this strange land, he may end up being the one in need of saving. The first part of the second short story will be uploaded on Saturday, the 11th of June, following Ferez Ahud, an aspiring young battlemage charged with the unsavoury job of 'terminating' a rogue member of his college. But how this nobody of a mage became a fugitive remains a mystery, and when the answer is discovered, the tables are turned and the hunter becomes the prey. Magic and fantastical beasts run wild on the countless worlds of the Fabric. Deities take an active interest in the Fabric. The Favoured, immortal mages of immense power vie for territory and power in the Fabric. Umbra a naive ward of the Duke is almost Grown and that means she will need to take an apprenticeship. The issue is she isn't good at anything, but she catches the eye of a master of magic, he thinks she might be one of the fabled Protectors the ones that would save them from the coming destruction. But Umbra isn't the hero everyone wants her to be. Updates will at least one chapter every two days. Notable Location Poliagoras. Poliagoras is the most important world in the Fabric partly due to it being the centre of everything both literally and metaphorically. Trade, commerce, travel, and politics are all conducted primarily on Poliagoras, it has the biggest city in the fabric stretching to cover almost the entire world. It also holds all the known Great portals in the Fabric which are the only way to travel to other worlds. Even without these things, Poliagoras would still be the most important world in the Fabric as it is home to the largest population of Favoured. They were mages chosen by the Deities and given the potential to become more than mortal. I cannot overstate how appreciated constructive criticism is. This is the first story I have written of my own volition so even a small comment on how I could improve would be great. The current title is most definitely a working one. I know it isn't great.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.

He thought everything is going to be back to normal and within his control but the system later told him that he is free to do anything he wants and no longer has to be bound with restrictions. OOC is within reach. Liu Xu Yuan finds it strange but from the beginning, his emotions had deadpan so he doesn't care and only runs around acting. He got bored and decides if he should suffer or retaliate. The effect of change somehow lands up destroying the plot. Although he has fun playing, he felt amiss. Later, Liu Xu Yuan finds a tall, handsome man following after him world after world. ...And that man is the same guy he throws away in the last world! Little Cinema: Shou Yuan: Stop, stop!
