I'd been wanting to write something original for quite a while. After a successful stint with the wattpad paranormal prompts, I had come to a decision that a historical/paranormal story was my best bet. A banshee in Ireland fit that too well to be overlooked and that is how my story was born.
The struggle as such was the pacing and the realism given that the setting is a famine-struck Irish Village. Apart from that, the more effort-requiring parts where almost the entirety if the story since I am Asian and have little to no clue about Medieval Irish people and customs. Almost everything about the story except for the behavior of it's characters are a result of research.
I enjoyed the actual writing. I tend to inch towards an older form of diction and sentence formation so this story was a great way to channelise that. I loved the research too, being a lover of history and culture.
The few that read it seemed to like the feels attached to the story and reviews so far have been positive. I must admit, though, that we're speaking if a very small sample space here : )
It is a standalone novel but I intend to add two more standalone novels to make it a series of sort, bound by a concept.

One of the main intentions of the book and story itself was to help people understand that not all thise who seem to be of bad character are actually that way and that misunderstandings are quite possible. Also, I'd like them to know that when it comes to real relationships, looks don't really matter. Sometimes all we need is that one person you've never really seen who would still listen to your problems for the sake of it

Regularity is key. You need not write for the same story but it's the easiest way to beat writer's block. Start the story with a clear plan and go ahead with writing the parts you feel like writing. It's ok to not write chapters in a chronological order as long as you connect them well.
Yes. The main character is almost completely inspired by me, though she isn't a self insert. Silence can often be misunderstood for many negative qualities and being different does not help with that. Some times there is guilt too which arises simply because of self doubt. Finally, there's the hesitance to trust and willingness to help and be empathetic. So yes, as weird as it sounds, the banshee resembles my character.
I believe and hope that the plotline itself would be a hook for new readers. It isn't often one gets to read a non-horror story with a banshee lead that is almost completely realistic and true to history. Apart from that, I believe the fitting writing style might also be of help : )
Yes, there are quite a few but none of them will be out this year. There are two more books that will be standalone novels about 'monsters'. There is also another historical fiction about a Vestal Virgin that's in the works.

Martial Family
Shi Yan was a lonely orphan boy. That was only till he met an injured fox hiding under the bushes, whimpering. After much care and concern, the fox soon became his irreplaceable kin. When the situation was just starting to turn colourful, Mistress of the Orphanage found the little fox hiding under Shi Yan's bed. After the little fox-faced relentless torture and abuse, Shi Yan took revenge. The youth stole from the Mistress and ran off. With only the fox in his arm and a small pouch of stolen goods, he never looked back. *Well, I tried... This story is written in my spare time just for fun. It's very experimental so readers; do note. There are major changes in writing style within the series as I keep testing things out. Of course, that does not mean that the story actually deviates from its intended progress. It just means that your reading experience may fluctuate quite often... Anyways, I hope you enjoy this story. :D p.s. not sure if there will be any sex scene in this novel but the boy starts off as 7... so... long time till we get there. May have lollies though! The One Born from Stars
Death. The end to the story of a man’s pained journey. A journey of pain and suffering. Of sights no man should’ve seen or experienced. A life he wished to have taken no part of. But if he were given a chance to relive another life. Would he? Would he mould the future to what he sees fit? Or escape it’s grasp before it could do anymore harm to him or those he loves? What would he do? What will he do? Cover is found here and all credit goes to the origninal producer of the artwork: https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/847732329833010318/ Note: There is not set release schedule and there likely won't be one. There may be a month's between releases which are only 1000 ish words in size. So I highly reccomend coming back when there is a decent amount of reading material present. There is also no set plan for this fiction and it'll be used to release some stress, improve my writing, and to list down concept ideas possibly.

A Dungeon Tested
Its a hard life balancing all the things a successful dungeon should be doing. Will our newest addition to the dungeon race even survive let alone make it to the top where dungeons such as the megafauna roam? Or will our main character suffer in the dust till some inauspicious and ignoble death at the end of some F-rankers sword? Note this is me having some fun while I wait for new releases of dungeon stories. Feel free to comment on that basis. I will be keeping the first few chapters slow so as to give me plenty to build upon later. I have tentatively given this the gore tag for now. With that in mind "Let the games begin".

A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.
