My own drug addiction to opiates. I wanted a release, a distraction and a way to raise awareness.
2
It was hard to balance three different points of views while keeping each character's voice and style true to them. I didn't want any reader to be halfway through a chapter and have to check whose point of view they were in. I've had to do that so many times when the writing is too similar, and it's just annoying.
3
The comments from people who had previously been ignorant or judgmental about addiction and how it changed their perspective
4
Overall, I received positive comments and a lot of people said the series made them think, which is always my goal with writing. It touched a lot of people emotionally and I think it's one of those books that will stay with people
5
This novel is book 1 of a three part series. I'm also currently writing a spin off novel based on a couple of the characters.
6
Empathy before judgment. Always.
7
Don't wait for comments or votes. Even if no one is reading, keep going. I know first hand how difficult it is to gain a following on Wattpad. Just trust your writing and your story and the readers will come. Also promote the heck out of it.
There are several main characters but overall I share their struggles with trauma, addiction and depression
That's hard to say. This story is what I think of as a niche story. If you can't handle dark, gritty, realistic stories, this is not your book. I'm not looking for just any reader. I've had readers say that my book turned their stomach and offended them. I don't want those readers. They need to go back to happy land and read romance or whatever. I am looking for readers who are searching for reality and want to see things from a new perspective no matter how uncomfortable. I think readers of Ellen Hopkins would really love this book.

Working on one now based off of this series called Cricket. It takes place a year before this book begins.

Arpeligo
A brother and sister struggle to operate their independent interstellar transportation company within the confines of discriminatory laws and arrogant aristocratic enterprises. But fortune blows their way when they stumble upon a relatively ignorant human who also happens to be a fully authorized Citizen of the Empire, with all the legal rights and responsibilities associated with that status. Taking advantage of the situation, the sister proposes a deal to the citizen to try to secure their tiny company's future. But things are not what they seem and war between the noble families is reaching a breaking point within the sectors, causing mayhem, instability, and disastrous consequences for our interstellar crew on their trial run with the citizen. ** The setting is largely influenced by my experience in the transportation industry. I hope you enjoy it!

Spice and Woof
Mitty and Dantes get along like cat and dog, but circumstances force them to stick together. Things happen to them just as much as they happen to things. Join them on their adventures in the unusual lands of Esthar where anything can and often does happen. And puns. I'll update from time to time, I hope, but school will keep me busy I suspect. Feedback in all forms would be appreciated though.

White Clover Guild
The world of Twinwirl, divided among four continents protected by the twin deities of Light and Shadow, is a world where humans and monsters live together. Even in this modern world, people still rely on bravers--individuals who adventure to keep the world order--to protect towns and cities. One day, the Light Deity decided it was time to give up the life of a hermit and regain her power through gathering faith. How? By starting a guild for bravers!

Field Trip to the Avenger's Compound
Wow. Soooooo original Marina. Peter taking a field trip to the Avenger's Compound? That's never been done before. If you're reading this, you've probably read other Peter fics. So, you get the gist. What's different about this fic is it's a reader insert! Now I've messed up the timeline A LOT (Barry Allen who?) with this. Aunt May let Peter live in the compound so she could travel the world like she's always wanted to. But (Y/n) and Peter both go to Midtown High. It'll make sense.... eventually. Ships:Implied PepperonyStuckyWanda and VisionI do not own the rights to any Marvel characters. I'm just using these characters to tell a story :)
