What inspired to write Healing Hearts (original / rewritten) was that I was always passionate about anti-suicide and I hoped that by writing this book, it would stop people from hurting themselves. Hurting their family

I definitely struggled with making it more realistic. I've never been through what the main female character went through and I wanted to capture what someone would feel, their pain if they lost an important person in their life that way.
Not only did I enjoy writing the emotion in the story, but I enjoyed writing about friendship and the relationships
Most people who have reviewed my book have pointed out that I succeed in grabbing the attention of the readers, my character building skills and vocabulary are really good and that they loved how I delivered each heart-breaking word.
It's a stand alone. But everyone's free to read the original if they want to compare.

I'd like my readers to take away that if they ever feel like hurting themselves to get help so they don't hurt the people around them.

I advise other writers to plan ahead. You should have a plot already planned out in your head. That way you're not staring at a blank page all day.

Ellie, my main female character enjoys writing, she has a fear of flying (which I'm guilty of lol!), I've always wanted to have a best friend like Sadie and have a strong friendship with her.
