Well, it was based on a prompt that one of my cousin had given me, "When a person dies, people laugh and when a person takes birth, they cry" which is the baseline of Dead Laughing. I've been planning this story in my head for ages and planned so many plots that I don't even remember how many I made till now. ^^' However I am more clear with the plot as of now, but still sometimes characters overrule me and they write it. haha
2
Well, mostly plots and the flow but in the current version I've overcome that to some extent
3
The response has been very positive. And I must say I am happy. It has reached 200+ reads already and it feels like an achievement. I have some fan base which is cool too
4
Everything. The characters, their way of style, sass and everything that is them. I love breathing life into them
5
Earlier, it was a series, but then I have been able to get it into one single story so mostly a stand-alone but I could still change my mind.
6
the one key takeaway would be the reality I have set into the story. I mean although its magic, one can still see the way reality is crafted into it. The illusions and how they all fall apart. What life teaches us and where do we stand.
7
When you start writing a story, don't directly jump into plots, twists and planning. If you've never written a story before, I suggest writing somr short stories or notes that'd say exactly what you'd like in the story. Those short pieces will help you in the long run. Plus do have an outline. Your story doesn't have to be perfect in the first draft. Its okay if your first draft is not the best, you could always improve.Keep your plots original and unique. No one likes cliché stories so yeah

Not only my main characters, also my side characters. They've many similarities to me, as well have qualities that I wish to have
9
The thing that'd attract any reader is a catchy cover, and you have only 7 seconds to make an impression so make it count. The next thing is your blurb which not many notice but it does play an important role. The last but not the least, your original writing style and the life of your characters. The more real they seem, the more readers you achieve.
10
I have a lot many stories in my head. Hope to bring them out ^^'
